Amazing, delicious food and atmosphere! Me and my sisters have been there 3 times. We go to westford every month and go every time!!!!

I haven't been back for years but lately been stopping by this place food is great service is good but today they try to seat me at the booth! Just had a injury with my back and I denied! Then they wanted to sit us at some little ass table! And told us we had 90 minutes.. how is that small table going to fit my food! There was sooo many damn seat!! Plus I hate the bamboo chair. Seems like they are targeting Asian! I always order a good amount of food and give good tip. We won't be back! No matter how grand the food is. Take my money else where. I think they want to be known for foreigners and serve and bow to them. Pretty pathetic! read more

A very good place for American Asian cuisine. I stopped in for lunch takeout and its a nice clean dining room. This place is Asian Fusion, but everyone here was speaking Chinese. Translation: the food will have a more Chinese flavor than any other genre. My biggest gripe with this place: they make you pay for rice. I am sorry, but what Asian restaurant makes you pay $3.00 for rice? It was a bit unsettling. I could tell we were going to get charged for it, but the server did not make it explicit. The food from a veg perspective is manageable, but nothing super exciting. The vegetables have a traditional Americanized feel to it - very watered down, and the variety you could find at the local American supermarket. The one I ordered (Buddha's delight, if I recall - all veggies, no tofu) had a decent garlic flavor with the lovely cornstarch-based sauce, but with too much cornstarch in some places. Umm, forget to stir while cooking it? Nice chunks of cornstarch.... yum. The other dish we tried was the green beans - ummm.... I could've cooked them to be more tasteful. They were literally just green beans with soy sauce. It was bland bland bland. Given the small selection of food choices in this area for veg*ns, I might go here again if I'm stuck here for 5 days and get bored of everything else. However, it's really not worth the price. Solid and unexpected for Westford. I'm usually not an asian on asian fusion fan, but the Japanese, Thai, and other random Asian stuff were pretty Solid Pros: 1) Chicken Pad Thai- Mmmm 2) Miso Soup had extra scallions- Luv that 3) Sushi: Vegetarian Maki and some salmon/spicy tuna combo.. It's all about the sauce and this was a homerun. Unfor. it only came with 4 pieces!! 4) Service and atmosphere or maybe it was just a good night with good friends. I got up and looked at the clock. It's roughly 9:25 am and I wanted brunch. I called one of my foodie friends and we decided to find a new restaurant to eat at. Google & Yelp led us to this restaurant. Karma. We arrived and noticed that the restaurant was located in a plaza. It won points in my book because convenient parking is so important to me. We walked in around 12:10 pm; it was a little more than a half hour prior to the restaurant opening. There was a decent amount of people inside. My stomach was rumbling and all I can think about was their lunch specials or as they called it there their "Karma Luncheon Box". The lighting was dim, not club or bar-lounge dim, but dim enough for us to appreciate some of that natural summer sunlight shining in from outside. The decor looked more upscale than a mom and pop's place, but more unique than say a chain restaurant's. We get the menu and I can tell you that it was a pretty good sized menu. It was big enough so that there was a good variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes with a small selection of Korean dishes. I ended up ordering some green tea as I was deciding on a luncheon box to eat. I ended up with the "Vegetarian Mapo Tofu" luncheon box. I was really curious because I have always had this dish with meat. I got to choose my side dishes and ended up with a very small salad, three pieces of a spicy tuna roll, one fried spring roll cut in half, rice, ginger and Wasabi. Now, to get down to business. I personally liked this Miso soup. The soup itself did not taste watered down like other places so my friend Linda and I really felt like they incorporated Hondashi, the seafood based Japanese stock in it rather than just miso paste and water. The tea tasted pretty much like tea. I don't think you could go wrong with tea. What I did notice was that there was left over how do I say this in English, little bitty pieces of tea leaves at the bottom of my cup. That signals to my brain that this tea is more fresh you know, It's not just popping in a tea bag and calling it a day. The spicy tuna was flavorful and packed a small kick. The "four-bite" salad was normal, and the spring roll had a very subtle flavor which I liked compared to its egg roll cousin. The white rice was normal, neither too hard or too soft. You had a choice to either had your "Veg. Mapo Tofu" to be made with crispy tofu or silken (soft) tofu. I opted for silken. The sauce that the tofu sat in was very flavorful. I really was amazed that it wasn't over powering or too salty. Now, as my personal disclaimer, if you are used to eating Thai and Lao cuisine like me, you probably won't find this dish spicy at all. If you are not, then I'd be careful since the dish itself is marked as spicy on the menu. Also, silken tofu is kind of hard to grab with chopsticks unless you're a pro because I had to use a fork. Don't judge me please, haha. Overall, I liked this experience. For the overall price to be about $8 for my meal and $1.50 for my tea before tax and tip, this was pretty worth it. read more

Food was good. I tried a large assortment of sushi (nigri and makis). Sushi bar was a little slow even though the restaurant was not very busy. I came here because my daughter had highly recommended it (she is a big fan and comes here often). All in all, my biggest rating for sushi comes down to the food itself, and I think this place gets a solid 3.5-4 stars based on the food. Compared to Bamboo, their competitor down the street, I think the quality is better at Bamboo on every dish I ate tonight. My new go-to for sushi! Sushi always come out fresh, the fish tastes fresh. Love it! I highly highly highly recommend trying their torched tuna with truffle butter sauce and tuna taco. Karma is one of our favorite restaurants - and has been for years - the food, the staff and the atmosphere. So, when it was time to celebrate a special birthday with friends & family, the choice was easy. With Jessie's help, we arranged a tasting menu - from chinese & japanese appetizers, some sushi specialties, then to an assortment of chinese entrees, and then finally to a selection of maki's (cooked and raw) and specialty single-serving spoons. Because of the sensitivity to our Covid times, each dish was served to each party go-er. Everyone got to taste what they wanted. And no one walked away hungry! Now our friends and family really understand why we rave about Karma. Even those who were reluctant to try the fish -- they loved the flavors and couldn't believe it was sushi. The food at this place was pretty good. Not crazy good but it was good. The staff and service were an F minus! We came in on a Thursday night around 630 - not too busy. We requested a both and were seated immediately. After being seated and given our menus the hostess says this booth is reserved at 8 and walks away. Excuse me?! When our waitress comes over she says they will probably move you at 8. She then takes our orders. She brings our drinks and then the hostess comes back to tell us we can move now... so rude! In the end after a long argument about poor customer service the hostess leaves us there. I must note - every booth in the place is exactly the same - the same size and basically in the same location! When the reserved group came in at 8 there were 4 other booths open! We had asked to speak to a Manager/Supervisor and were told there wasn't one there - are you kidding me?! How can a restaurant operate without someone supervising? We ordered crab rangoons and 2 different fusion rolls. The crab rangoons were good and fresh. The rolls were good but fell apart when you tried to lift them to eat. read more

Post renovation review: food went downhill! Was very excited for the re-opening - food was great before, seems to have gotten more expensive and lost quality. It's too bad! The food is not as good as it used to be. We used to love the teriyaki skewers but they are not as flavorful now. The pan fried ravioli was filled with grease. Very disappointed! Portions are smaller and more expensive as well. Service was slow. I only had a fork to eat with. When I asked for a knife (3 times), I never got one. Third time I've tried it, third time I've been unhappy because my order was wrong or improperly prepared. If someone orders a spicy salmon roll, don't bring them a plain salmon roll. If a roll is supposed to have tobiko on it, don't sprinkle it with sesame seeds instead. If a server picks up the wrong order so someone is left waiting for their food, don't wait until everyone else at the table is done eating and ready to leave before you bring the last person's meal, and if you do and it's completely the wrong thing and they just want to leave, don't charge them for food they never received. It was so delicious! I sat at the sushi bar. My boyfriend and I order crab rangoons, miso soup, avocado salad, and three rolls of sushi. Every single thing was delicious!! I have nothing to complain about. The rangoons were the best I have ever had. The avocado salad was a fresh salad that had plenty of avocado (my pet peeve is when they skimp on that). The sushi was perfect. The sushi chefs even threw in a complimentary plate on them, I am not sure what it was but it was also very impressive. We have been coming to this establishment since it opened. We usually order a takeout meal once a week that comes to $58. Today I called in our order and the price was $95!
