After seeing a lot of posts on instagram from friends and coworkers who had been ordering takeout from Karvers during this quarantine mess, I was eager to try it out! The ordering process was smooth, and when pulling up I was greeted by a Manager (I assume) with a big smile and a hello in front of my car (social distanced of course). A worker wearing mask and gloves quickly delivered the food to my car and I was on my way with a thank you from them both! That was my first positive about my experience. The California Flatbread was very yummy!! That was definitely the favorite of the night. It had a crunchy crust, and a good amount of the toppings that were listed. The arugula salad was also very refreshing and delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich had a DELICIOUS pesto sauce on it, and the Hawaiian roll makes you feel like it was made right at home. We also got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, which was good but I had hoped for more of a slaw type of "carrot celery topping" rather than a single carrot. But it had a good buffalo flavor, I think it would be very goo paired with the Hawaiian roll as well. I think I would try a different side next time instead of the regular fries, they needed a little more flave. The best part of the night!? ADULT CAPRI SUNS!!!! We got the berry lemonade!! For only 6 bucks each it was a fun little dinner drink. Overall, will be back again!!! read more

Great ambiance. Good crowd on a Tuesday night. The Bavarian pretzel was killer. Beer and food were very fresh and service was great. My son didn't really enjoy the buffalo chicken fritters, but everything else was great. read more

Food is very good, from the shepherds pie all the way to the pasta with seafood. We had a party of 12 everything was excellent, waitress was very nice and attentive. Prices were Moderate for what you got, just be careful of the little extras they get for a different type of french fries or xtras on your burger, it will add up. Big beer selection, included you get free refills on soda and tea. Definitely a place I would go back to, but just make sure you get there early or even better make a reservation. Always crowded. Also noise level is high, so be prepared, we were in the back room and we were screaming at each other to hear, but no big deal. read more

I have to say this restaurant has come a long way since their opening. Their menu has changed recently and everything is absolutely wonderful. I come here at least 3-4 times per month now, possible more! The waitstaff is amazing! I have yet to have a waiter or waitress that has not been attentive, friendly and super fast service. They're all great, I am terrible remembering all of their names, but one waitress, Devin, is a great and is definitely an asset to this establishment! She is so sweet, friendly & attentive!! All of the waitstaff is! Josh is also a great waiter as well as the manager, Jason! Liz, the bartender is wonderful as well and makes the BEST margaritas!! I am happy there is such a wonderful restaurant 5 minutes from my home! In addition, they have weekly specials so there is always something new to try!! Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Stay away like the plague. We went there again and ended up regretting it. Everyone in my party who ordered a burger got sick.

We are here a few times a month for dinner (occasionally lunch). It is a great atmosphere for families and it's nice to have in the area vs driving down to similar restaurants in Patchogue. I used to be a frequent karvers customer, but after the last few visits I'd rather give my money to a restaurant we're the prices are actually reasonable for the food you get . Karvers prices are way over priced, the waiting is absolutely ridiculous. The only thing better than their service was their food! While I'm not keen on driving 30 minutes from my house to a restaurant, Karver's Grille made it well worth the drive. I ordered a delicious 30oz porterhouse steak, not only was it cooked to perfection but it also came out of the kitchen in record time. First time at Karvers and we had a great meal. Enjoyed boneless wings which was hot and fresh and two cocktails from their cocktail menu which were perfect for a warm summer night. For dinner, we had the Cobb salad and a Patty Melt and both did not disappoint. Only criticism we had was we felt rushed. Every time!!! Is a complete thumbs up! The moment you walk in the door , you are greeted by the employees at the desk. It's always packed and yet still get us in to sit in less then 5 minuets. I came here for my birthday today and it was delicious. This place had the best buffalo wings I ever ordered, $12 for like twenty wings. Definitely worth it. The buffalo chicken flatbread was a hit. Went here about a month ago. Sat at the bar, had a burger with roast beef and an egg on top. Shared some flatbreads, had some different beer and moscow mules. What a great place. Food and service overall was great but I took off a star because the kids meals were way too big. My 7yo got a grilled cheese sandwich the size of her head plus a pile of fries and a pickle..and my son had a slightly oversized bowl of mac n' cheese. The food was great but they could charge the same amount but serve only 1/2 of that grilled cheese sandwich and less fries. Also, I ordered fried pickle spears and they never arrived. Went here for my birthday dinner with the fam and was highly pleased. I had seen great reviews and received several recommendations about Karver's, so I was excited about enjoying my meal there. My steak was grilled perfectly. I tried some of my mom's penne alla vodka, and it topped any version from any Italian place I've ever eaten at. The plate design of all of their dishes looked amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly. Very noisy, impossible to converse, Cannot enjoy, can't wait to leave! I personally will not patronize a place with loud music or live music. I like to enjoy conversations with my dinner companions. Wonderful atmosphere ..VERY Nice Service..Fun food but not great with dealing with food allergies. I eat out often and I know I am most restaurants least favorite customer..I've tried Karvers about 4 times, I am very specific when I order ..I need my food to come out very plain ..I have an allergy to soy so that means the plainer/cleaners/fresher my meal is ..the more satisfied I'll be ..although the waitress/waiter understands what I'm saying ..the chefs never get it right! I want to keep dining there Bc I love everything else about it ..but last time I left hungry Bc it came out very wrong, so I'll give it one more try and hope they get it right! Karvers Grille is truly excellent in all aspects! The service is outstanding, as the waitstaff and bartenders are extremely attentive to their customers and always smiling, and the hosts do a great job at seating you as quickly as possible! The food is absolutely delicious, and everyone that I know has only had great things to say about Karvers Grille! Every time I have dinner there, I see many familiar faces, as Karvers is always filed with returning customers. Definitely a keeper!!! read more

Make reservations! Our party of 7 decided to go to an early dinner at 4:30 and, not expecting a packed restaurant, did not. However, we were seated within ten minutes and service was amazing. We went here with friends for dinner and I really like the style and look of the restaurant. Unfortunately the food was very mediocre. My husband and I shared the buffalo chicken fritters and fried and pickles as well as a mac &a cheese burger. All sounds amazing, we were hungry and excited. But none of it tasted really as good as it sounds. It was not flavored well. In addition to that we ordered the burger medium, but received it rare/medium rare. They apologized at least and took one half back in the kitchen to recook it. The waitress said they'd add some extra mac and cheese again, then the manager brought it out without any. Overall very mediocre food, but maybe we just had bad luck. It's probably worth trying this place during happy hour. I doubt we'll be back though. We like trying different places and I just wasn't blown away here. read more
