We ordered delivery from Kasa and it was so good! Not your typical Indian food but the flavors were out of the world! I especially loved the samosas Chat and the Kati roll. Really solid mango lassi as well. I took off a star as I really wanted some veggies with our meal but didn't like the Gobi Aloo. The texture was off and the flavor was just meh. I would not get that again but I can't wait to go back for lunch and to try their famous Kasa Chai.

Our "plates" which were beautiful platters of two menu choices plus the rice, dal, salad, roti, raita and condiments

Delicious Indian cuisine - we had a platter each - so much food! The owner assisted us with the kiosk ordering which was very straightforward. The meal came quickly and all of the items were delicious. They include the dal and roti and raita as opposed to order separately which is nice. Fun decor and lovely service - we'll be back!

good quality for a quick and casual meal. courteous service. i have eaten at both this Polk Street location and their Castro location for over 9 years! i always like the music mixes they've got playing , and get either the mango lassi or lychee lemonade every visit. my partner and i shared a combo plate; it was the perfect amount to have for lunch with our 2 drinks. the chicken tikka masala was tender and tasty, as was the chicken kofta. i prefered the flavor of the tikka masala and am happy to have tried both. we liked the daal and veggies that went with the combo plate, and appreciate the complimentary munchies that come with dining in.

A good, not great, fusion Indian place (think tikka masala burrito, but wrapped in naan) that works better when it's not trying too hard. The tacos, for example, are a standout. The burrito was filling but not that good, the naan was a little dry. Would I go back? Sure, it's a good deal in an expensive city, and the service is wonderful. The place itself is adorable. But this is not a place trying to impress. It's just plugging along serving food that you didn't have to cook yourself.

Chicken Tikka and Saag paneer w yogurt rice and beans... this was amazing, gluten free too!!

Honestly some of the best Indian food I've had, and im frm the south bay!! They don't skimp on portions, and the menu is marked with gluten free and vegan options. As someone gluten intolerant, this was such an awesome experience. Crazy delicious. Try the raita yogurt sauce! Also, the chai was pretty good. Apparently they were voted best chai in SF. This ain't no Trader Joe's chai. I believe this may be a local chain. Come support this location!

Thali plate with chicken tikka masala and saag paneer

Reasonably priced and tasty fast casual Indian cuisine. We usually order a Thali plate and Kati roll - which is enough for two people. The different entree options are all pretty good. Our go-to's are the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. The Chai tea is delicious so would recommend getting that!

I placed my order online for pickup and was very surprised how big the portions were when I opened the package. I ordered the combo plate so had two entrees: I only ate half of it and ate the rest the next day! I liked how there were many vegetarian options as well. I didn't really like the flatbread that came with it; the flavor was bland (I think made of wheat) and it was a little dry. Everything was packaged nicely in a paper bag and ready when I picked it up. Overall, I think it's a good deal for the amount you get.

Ordering area, but can also order online

Ambiance: casual, low key, basic but colorful and fun; order at the counter, and pick up at counter for to go and in house dining Seating: Seats about 25 inside, no outdoor seating Food I ordered: - Samosa chat, popular Indian street food snack; a bit soggy and not warm but flavorful - Chicken Tikka roti Kati, whole wheat roti with chicken and pickled onions; great flavor! Drink: fresh mango lassi, kasa chai, lychee lemonade, beer, wine and other assorted bottled sodas, juices and waters. I chose the mango lassi, excellent! Service: quick and friendly enough

Towards the end of our meal around 8:15 restaurant was mostly full but still a few open spots. Food: Okra Fritter - okay, solid portion size, sliced okra in a pakora like batter that added a hint of nuttiness and a touch of spice, served with tamarind and mint chutney for dipping, fried crispy, fairly dry and not oily Onion Persarattu - a thin dosa sprinkled with diced raw onions served with 3 chutneys and rasam soup, dosa was very lightly seasoned, didn't see any of the green gram mentioned in the description, dosa lacked crispness and ate a bit soggy, chutneys were okay but fairly bland Paneer Tikka Masala - minimal spice, creamy with a hint of tomato, okay portion size wish there was a bit more paneer to sauce in terms of ratio, need more seasoning and wish this was a touch saltier Service was lacking, tables were set with plates napkins silverware and two bottles of water which was nice. The rest was a pretty mixed bag, felt rushed to place our order once the group was seated they checked in twice in the span of 5min to see if we were ready. Food pacing once orders were placed was fine maybe 10-15min for dishes to be prepared and served. Once we were done eating staff did not check in to close out our bill for 10 min, when we finally did flag a server down we wanted to pay with blackbird so they told us to checkin and we waited another 5-10min before we were actually able to pay the bill. There are so many other great Indian spots in the Mission, would suggest those over this spot.Food felt under seasoned, service was lacking. I will say price point felt reasonable and maybe the kitchen and staff were off the evening I visited.

Copra is an absolute masterclass in coastal South Indian cuisine that completely recalibrates your palate. The Fillmore space itself is gorgeous--dripping with lush greenery and high-end tropical energy--but the absolute culinary obsession happening on the plates is the real story. We ran through a massive spread, and honestly, the flavor profiles are loud, complex, and unapologetically bold. The Standout Drinks -Jaggery Sour It hits that perfect balance of sweet and tart, with the jaggery giving it a deep, complex molasses-like richness that pairs beautifully with the spice of the food. -Salty City: refreshing and addicting Food hits -Mysore Masala Dosa: My personal favorite of the night. The dosa itself has that elite, perfect crisp-to-chew ratio. Pair it with the tomato and coconut chutneys, a heavy dusting of podi, and that rich onion sambar, and it's pure perfection. -Thayir Vadai Chaat: A total texture bomb and another personal highlight. It's got this incredible contrast between the cool yogurt, sweet date chutney, and the crunch of the Madras mixture and cashews. -Varuval Sea Bass Collar: Absolutely phenomenal. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection under that heavily spiced varuval crust. The karavelli curry it sits in is incredibly rich, and pairing it with the clean, bright snowpea poriyal and basmati rice made it an elite main course. We also dug into the Shrimp Vennai Roast (smothered in a brown butter chili chutney that is pure crack) and the Slow-Cooked Octopus with that sharp jaffna rub and grapefruit. Dessert -Jigarthanda: You must save room for this. The frozen caramel milk bar combined with milk jam, nannari, and the crunch of candied cashews is elite-level dessert engineering. It's sweet, cooling, and the perfect antidote to the spice of the meal. Last but not least, you must try their filtered Indian coffee. It delivers a strong nutty subtle sweet flavor. Service is sharp, fast-paced, and genuinely passionate about the menu. It's vibrant, energetic, and entirely worth every bit of the hype. A shout out to Ser taking care of our group of 6. She helped us make decisions for orders as we were divided in what we want. Lol

For food we got the following: -Dahi Sev Puri - this was my favorite dish, really fun to eat and great flavors. -Chole Bhature - this was also great! The puffy bread was sooo delicious and the chickpeas were perfectly seasoned and delicious. -Bhel Puri - this dish was unique and was a good size portion, but not as flavorful as the other two dishes. It felt like eating a savory rice crispy cereal, but not in a bad way :P -Garlic Naan - pretty decent but nothing special -Jalebi - I was really excited to try this dessert. I looooved the texture (crunchy outside, with a gooey inside) but the actual flavor was not my favorite. To me, it tasted very similar to chlorinated water, and it was hard to get past that.. There was a different jalebi with a dipping sauce, and I wonder if that would have been better. They were out of it when we went, but I would try it again with that. Now for the lunch buffet, there was a good variety of both meat and veggie curries along with basmati rice and a few appetizers (pakoras, etc). I enjoyed the tandoori chicken, butter chicken, dal and a veggie curry with spiced potatoes and peas. The dal had a nice flavor and a little kick and was a bit spicy, but paired well with the rice. The staff also brought over fresh naan, which was pretty good. The pakoras weren't too good, a little too salty, but the chutney helped. Customer service was friendly and attentive, with staff checking in occasionally on if we needed anything or wanted a refill of naan. I will say I assumed the chai was included with the buffet, and totally missed the signage that it was an extra cost. So, it was a slight surprise when we got the check.
