Our server was so nice. She helped us with the birthday cake and was really attentive! We visited on a Saturday night and there was a live band - they were fantastic! Highly recommend "Celina with a C" and her band, that lady was singing the house down and working the room at the same time. My steak was cooked perfectly. I also added shrimp to my ribeye for a surf and turf and I got 6 colossal shrimp, so they don't skimp on servings. All the food is seasoned well, but I didn't find anything salty. Katch is really cute inside and it's a great spot for an evening out with the girls, date night, or even a solo night at one of the bars. I was skeptical, prior to going to Katch Kitchen & Cocktails in Tucker Georgia because I read a few discouraging Yelp reviews about it. Our party of 7 had a 2:45p reservation; and we were seated early at 2:35p. The interior was very roomy and well decorated, including artwork and a large aquarium at the entrance. We ordered drinks & entrees after perusing the menu for about 10 minutes. Drinks arrived about 30 minutes later and were great. Our entrees took much longer and were served about 3:40P. My wife and I ordered chicken & waffles. The chicken was tasty, but we both thought our waffles were a little "gummy", and needed another 2 or more minutes in the waffle iron. I finished mine nonetheless. Others in our party ordered pork chops, lamb chops, and a fried chicken sandwich. The R&B music was familiar and toe tapping, but was just a little too loud. The house band was setting up to perform when we were leaving. Thankfully, we were NOT charged an additional $10 per person for performers fee, as noted at our table. My total was $62.88 including tip, but I ordered quite a bit because I wanted to try a little of everything on the brunch menu. The fried catfish was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The grits were creamy and flavorful enough that they didn't need any cheese, and the eggs were cooked well. I probably could have skipped the side of potatoes since they weren't my favorite. The waffle was just okay for me. It was a bit too dense, as I prefer a lighter, fluffier waffle. I'm usually picky about biscuits, but this one was so good that I finished the entire thing with strawberry jelly, even though I was already full (not pictured). The service was excellent. I like Katch. It's always clean, the drinks are good, the food is delicious, and the vibes on the weekend are unmatched in the Tucker area. Every time that I've gone, I sit at one of the bars. Yes, they have two bars. I typically order the lychee martini which is light and sweet but packs a punch. The catfish is fried crisp to perfection, the salmon is moist and flaky, and the macaroni and cheese will make you want to slap someone. The service is typically ok, that's the only thing that I think could use a bit of work, including the food runners who often don't know what they're bringing out to you. But they also have multiple tv's for sports viewing, birthday sections, live music, what's not to love? By the way, I always self park but they do offer valet. read more

Tee definitely made bar seating a cool night instead of just a place to wait, we decided to keep our seats at the bar and not move to the table. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was my first time trying the turkey spring rolls, and they were so good I ate most of them before remembering to take a picture . The DJ was excellent! great music at the perfect volume and the ambiance was amazing, really setting the vibe for the night. So, we have a Kitchen & Kocktails in DC and I've enjoyed the food each time that I've gone. When I noticed this name on one of my Atlanta Yelp friend's feed, it made me check them out to see if it were a sister restaurant. It seems that it is its own brand given the addition of "Katch" and Cocktails is spelled with a C and not a K like the DC location. That said, after looking at the menu and reading a few reviews, I was intrigued enough to put this on my short list for my upcoming "short" ATL trip. We decided to check out KK&C Friday after discovering there's live music every Friday night. Valet was $10 which is cheap compared to DC prices, so that put a smile on my face. KK&C is good looking from the outside and great looking inside. Extremely spacious, this stand alone structure is impressive...kudos to the interior decorator! It was just me and my boy and we were lucky enough to snag a couple of bar seats facing the band. The food was outstanding. I started with lobster nuggets and he had the turkey spring rolls. My lobster nuggets were so good I wanted to keep with the theme and got the twin lobster tails for my entrée. I screwed up and meant to get them grilled but they came out fried. I was greeted upon entry and advised that I could sit anywhere. I was initially going to order my food to go but when I walked in I decided I wanted the full experience! I visited on a Wednesday night, and the vibe was calm and chill with a nice music selection. The decor is beautiful, and the customer service was excellent. The bartender (I can't remember her name, but she had an accent) was so helpful--when I asked for recommendations, she shared the most popular dishes along with her personal favorites. I decided on the salmon with seafood rice, and it did not disappoint! The salmon was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the sauce that came with it was sooo good--it really pulled the whole dish together. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. This is my 2nd time here. It seems over priced and under staffed. The girl that was waiting on us only had one other table and couldn't keep it together. The 1st time I went I was disgusted by the bartender/server. He was nice but he was sweating profusely just standing in place cutting lemons. Wiping his sweat barehanded, no gloves, and putting those same lemons in the bar top for use. That is enough for me to be turned off. Now I have to bring my own lemons to the restaurant for drinks? No. It's a nice place, the usual aesthetic complete with flower wall. I remember when they opened it was heavily promoted. It's just not for me. Food is mid. My first experience at Katch left a lot to be desired. Valet parking was $10 and an additional $2 because I didn't have cash. The hosts attempted to make me wait to be seated until my guest arrived despite the restaurant being half empty. I had a sidecar for my cocktail and It was ok. For my entree, I ordered the catfish and shrimp basket with fries. When my food arrived, I noticed that the shrimp were missing. I informed the waitress and she brought out an order of shrimp. I honestly didn't enjoy my meal. The catfish had a weird taste and I did not like the breading. My friend said her ribeye was "dry". I did enjoy the performance from the live band. This place is B-E-A-UTIFUL!! When I walked in, I felt like I was under dressed and I had on business attire. I stopped by after work, just in time for happy hour. There is PLENTY of seating and the ambiance is everything. The faux fireplace over the bar, the fish tank, the dim lights, music...perfection! The menu was hard to see at times because of the black background and they do bring you a lamp ahead of your food because as I mentioned before, the lights are dim. I came in and was immediately greeting by Vashti. I sat at the bar and she told me the happy hour specials they had. Select menu items were $10. I ordered LP wings (came with 6) with fries, blu cheese, and a margarita. The wings were great but sooo tiny! I don't think I've ever had wings that small but they were good! We were greeted as soon as we arrived. The hostess remembered the friend I went with from a previous visit. They chopped it up while I was waiting for my husband to park the car. When you walk inside it is very huge, bright and inviting. Nice marble floors and pretty decor. There was a nice big fish tank with some beautiful fish inside so I had to take a video of them. There were quite a bit of people there and music was playing very loud. At the time we went it was just somebody's playlist or something. While waiting for the car to be parked they had comfy chairs and benches to sit. We got seated by the back and it was loud back there. There was a birthday dinner going on and there were plenty of people talking and laughing and having a good time. I was able to take a look at their food and it all looked delicious. That was my first time there so I did n't know what to order. Everything looked delicious. The food was good, I did not order any drinks but will when I go back. The portions were a good size but at the end of the meal I did not have anything to bring back home. I ordered some Lump Crab cakes (I think that's what they were) . You get two and they were a little fishy tasting but still good nonetheless. The meal we ordered came with a biscuit and the biscuit was delicious. I wanted more but I definitely will order that again when I go back. I wish they would have the unlimited bread like some restaurants have that would have made the experience more enjoyable. I had some blackened shrimp and I enjoyed them. The shrimp was pretty big and seasoned just right. It is a little pricey for me so I think this place would be where you would go to celebrate something. I spent $114 just for two people and that did not include any alcoholic beverages. Beautiful restaurant tucked away in Tucker! Inside is very nicely decorated and outside has a very nice seating area. Sunday brunch had a Dj with good music! We sat at the bar and the bartender was a tad busy serving the wait staff. However he was very helpful with choosing options. He recommended the salmon croquettes which were a hit. The potatoes and eggs could use a little more flavor. However both were cooked well. My peach mojito was also tasty. My cousin had the banana foster French toast with a side of bacon. She requested the sauce on side however it was on top. They immediately offered to recook it. She ate her bacon while waiting and the bartender requested a free side so she had it to eat together (she declined). She said for her it was a tad sweet. Overall, the service was good. Pass by this place all the time as it's across the street from my gym. Listen, I'm glad I finally walked in. It's def a vibe. I loooove seeing people having a good time and that's exactly what you'll see when you come to Katch. There is so much beautiful black excellence in the building, truly can't get enough. My first visit was on a Wednesday around 6pm. I came too early because they have live music weekdays starting at 8pm so I made a point to come back and enjoy the full experience. Outside of the live music, expect an endearing mix of r&b music that'll get you in your feels and make you wanna jig a lil or a lot depending on your personality lol. Honestly I've come by myself twice now, sat at the bar, and always made a friend or two or three. The staff are all so nice and attentive, I've enjoyed my experiences. Now the food. It's decent! I wouldn't write home about it (sorry) but I've only tried the salmon and shrimp salad which was consistently tasty both times. The shrimp is seasoned so well and the salmon is cooked perfectly imo. First time at Katch Kitchen and Cocktails in Tucker and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The ambiance was a 10 out of 10. Beautiful décor, a more mature crowd, and just an overall grown, good time. Now let's talk about the "Black owned tax" -- and to clarify, that's the term many of us use when referring to the common experience at a lot of Black-owned restaurants in Atlanta where you'll encounter things like automatic gratuity and limited free parking. Katch is no exception. There is free parking, but only if you get there early. Otherwise, it's $10 for valet. That said, I still felt like it was all worth it. The hosts were warm and accommodating from the moment I walked in. Our server, Jordan, was amazing -- attentive, personable, and handled her section like a pro. I kept it light with just the spinach dip appetizer, two French 75s, and a Sidecar. I'm super particular about my French 75s and they got them just right. The Sidecar was solid too. The live band that night was Kasper and the 9-11 Band and they absolutely delivered. I'm officially a fan. Between the music, the energy, and the overall experience, Katch has earned a spot on my go-to list for a quality night out. read more

Absolutely awful experience. We came to celebrate my best friend's 50th birthday on 5/8/26, and what should have been a special night turned into a complete disappointment. Our reservation was at 7:15, but we weren't seated until 7:33. By 7:55, we still had not received any service at all. I spoke to the manager, Shar, and explained that the experience had already been awful. She was nice and understanding, but after saying she would find our server, we still waited another 5-10 minutes with no real resolution. We ended up sitting there for over 2 hours. Despite the terrible experience, I was still charged over $160. I will say the drinks were actually pretty decent overall, and once our server Jordan got to us, she truly tried her best. I still tipped her $40 because the issue clearly wasn't her effort -- it was the management and overall operation of the restaurant. One thing that really bothered us was being charged $15 per shot for vodka we were told was Tito's, but it absolutely did not taste like Tito's. The alcohol was extremely harsh, tasted low quality, and honestly went down like bottom-shelf liquor. If you're charging premium prices for premium liquor, that's exactly what customers should receive. In the end, we left hungry, deeply disappointed, and honestly sad that my friend's milestone birthday celebration turned out this way. Unfortunately, Katch Kitchen & Kocktails ruined what should have been a wonderful celebration for my dear friend. I would not recommend this place! Such a disappointing restaurant! read more

This was my first time at Katch. We were seated fairly quickly. I enjoyed the DJ, however I don't think seating people right next to the DJ is a good idea. I'd probably move that table elsewhere. We came on a holiday so the service was pretty slow, but I don't think that should be an excuse for slow service. I think better preparation is the key. Our food came out extremely slow, but the team at Katch was able to bring us a complimentary appetizer for the inconvenience which I appreciate. On top of that, the food was delicious. I don't know if i'd say it was worth the wait, because I expect swift service, but it was very good and on a slower day i'm sure everything runs smoothly. They had a really cool fish tank and two areas for you to take pictures with a nice back drop with the name of the restaurant. They even had a guy taking your picture. The wait time for the food is just ridiculous. After ordering our food and waiting 45mins, we were then finally told that the kitchen is backed up and food will be over an hour. What? Isn't that something that should have been mentioned before? Food took an hour and a half to come out, we were done waiting, we told them to pack it to go. They took advantage of that and packaged way smaller portions than what was being brought out to the tables. Which is insane for the prices of this place. Also the parking is a total scam. They block off over half the parking lot for "valet" make you pay $10 and getting your car is a mess. With the ticket the guy brought out 3 wrong keys. When we finally got our car the valet left another persons keys in our car.. None of our party will ever be returning to this awful place. read more

I have dined at this establishment on multiple occasions, and unfortunately many of those visits have been on what appeared to be off nights. However, this most recent experience was especially disappointing. I was surprised to learn that payments could not be accepted through a mobile device. As a result, I was unable to close out my ticket using my phone. Fortunately, I was able to send payment to the manager through Zelle, but this created a significant inconvenience. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I was told at check-in that using my cell phone for payment would not be an issue. In fact, I had visited this restaurant twice within the previous three weeks and successfully used my mobile device without any problems. Because of the inconsistency and lack of accommodation, I have decided not to return to this location. I have never encountered a hospitality venue that refused a mobile payment method in this manner, and it felt as though the hospitality aspect of the business was missing during this experience. By the time it finally arrived, the whole table was frustrated and the experience was already soured. The cocktails tasted watered down. To make matters worse, we were surprised with a $10 "entertainment fee" that was never mentioned beforehand, along with an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. These extra charges felt misleading, especially given the poor service and long wait time. The food was absolutely amazing. The restaurant is simple but grand and the ambience was sexy and upscale. I only don't eat lobster but I decided to try something different and ordered the lobster tail and shrimp pasta, which was absolutely delicious. I finished things off with an apple crisp desert that came with ice cream. It was absolutely amazing and we had crabcakes for an appetizer(damn good). I ordered a songbird, which was basically a pineapple, margarita, and trust me when I say you only need one. Booked and made reservations within 24 hours for Sunday at 11am. The visuals on tv e outside and inside were both so beautiful. The white buildings and gold and white with black marble were very elegant. Ample parking. Food was great. I had the platter and everything was great. Biscuit, chicken sausage, eggs with cheese, grits. The grits were creamy. Chicken sausage tasted like Delia's which we love! I had a fruity cocktail and I hate I can't remember the name.
