    Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken)

The best Indian in Baltimore !!! This place is truly incredible. Garlic Naan was the best I've ever had and the butter chicken was right up there too. Service was exceptional as well. Our waiter Brandon was super attentive and friendly. He played and joked with our kid and made us feel so welcome. Cannot wait to go back.

I'm back and last time I fell in love with the Mango Lassi and the Seafood Soup (spicy). So today I'm back for some more Mango Lassi and seafood soup (spicy) and I give the Johl momos a try and the paneer kulcha. The portions are so generous and the food is delicious. Love this place!

This was my first time trying this restaurant and it was fabulous choice for a rainy day! Gosh, the food smelled so good that we weren't sure if we could wait the four minute drive home! But it was worth it, the food is so delicious and cozy, felt right at home. I absolutely enjoyed trying the veggie momo dumplings for the first time, those flavors are out of this world! Even though the aloo kauli spice level was a less than what I wanted, the delicious flavors of the baigan Bartha and breads made up for it. Customer service was quick, easy, and communicative. I peeked in the eatery and it looks like a nice place to have a quiet, cozy meal. I will be back again soon!

Delicious! This has been my favorite spot to eat for many years now! I highly recommend stopping by and checking this place out, they are consistently good.l, which is hard to say about places now a days. My favorite is their chicken tikka masala. Their food is good dine in and to go. The restaurant is doing bottle water and distanced tables with paper table cloths. Overall feeling felt safe. The staff is super friendly. Stop by and give them a try!

I've been eating here for a few years and they always treated me right and I was satisfied but this time around I found a roach in my meal and I wanted to throw up.

The Indian food here is not great but there is no competition in Towson. Their lunch buffet is not worth it for vegetarian food.

The name "Sangam," which means "meeting and getting along," evokes the spirit of mutual trust inspired by a classic Indian film of the same name. This romantic notion sets the stage for a delightful culinary experience. Upon entering, you might not find opulence, but the restaurant exudes a cool, neat vibe. The ambiance is unpretentious, with two diligent South Indian girls serving food with a warm smile, creating a welcoming environment. The menu is a treasure trove of South Indian dishes, many of which may seem unfamiliar, especially for those from a Punjabi or Pakistani background. Though the choices can be overwhelming, the restaurant is particularly renowned for its Masala Dosa--a must-try for any visitor. Here are some of our favorite selections: Sukha Goshat: A flavorful dish reminiscent of bhuna meat, prepared with an array of spices, served alongside naan or paratha--perfect for a satisfying meal. Biryani: Their biryanis are noteworthy, bursting with rich flavors that stand out. Appetizers: We often start with Chicken 65 or Fish Chilli. The tangy, spicy Chicken 65 has a unique flavor that distinguishes it from typical offerings at Indian restaurants. If you ever plan to visit Sangam, I'd love to join you for this delightful culinary adventure!

TLDR No more lunch buffet, but the food absolutely delivers. Great curries, excellent biryani,…read morefriendly service, and fair prices. Our group of six went to Hyderabad Stories in Cockeysville planning to dive into their lunch buffet, only to find out they no longer offer it. Since we were already there and hungry, we decided to stick around and order from the regular menu and honestly, it worked out just fine. The space used to be San Sushi before the owner retired, and the interior layout is pretty much the same. It is simple and perfectly serviceable for small to medium groups. When we visited, we were actually the only occupied table, which made for a quiet and relaxed lunch. Since there was no official buffet, we decided to make our own by ordering a half dozen dishes to share. We went with a variety of curries, multiple biryanis, butter chicken, samosas, and plenty of naan for the table. Everything came out at a great pace and the service was very friendly and efficient throughout. The curries were the highlight for me. Some were dialed up with extra heat for the spice lovers at the table, while others were milder, but all of them were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. The biryanis were also excellent, with generous portions of both lamb and chicken. No skimping on the protein here. Pricing was reasonable, and when we split the bill it came out to about what each of us would typically spend at an Indian lunch buffet anyway. Overall, even without the buffet option, Hyderabad Stories is a great Indian food choice in the area and definitely worth checking out if you are craving flavorful curries and solid biryani.

After ordering all we did though, we kind of made it our own buffet and the price was very reasonable! Each person averaged about $30 . The biryani was so good and the rice was tender! The Apollo 65 fish appetizer was also delicious!! Very tender pieces of fish paired with a spicy coating was so flavorful! The egg noodle dish was also a table favorite! Honestly, you just can't go wrong here! My friend also wanted a spicy sauce and the wonders wife made a save that looked scary but soooo delicious!!

The food arrived hot and well packed. The shrimp were very tasty. Not much crispiness, but that is to be expected with delivery. The sauces that came with it were very delicious. I enjoyed the butter chicken. The chicken was perfectly tender and a good amount. The sauce could have used a bit more flavor in my opinion. I did order mild just to see what the baseline spice was, and would definitely go medium or more next time. The sauce was a nice consistency. The rice was well cooked, but no flavor on its own. I have been to some Indian spots in which the rice itself is very aromatic and flavorful with some spices cooked into it; this was more just basic rice. Still good with the butter chicken. The garlic naan was tasty! Overall, this was a decent spot! I'd order again and try a different spice level and some other menu items. Prices were fair for portions in my opinion.

My…read moreexpectations were high, because I'd heard great things about Peerce's - I've seen it on Baltimore Magazine's Best Restaurants in Baltimore list several times. But it didn't live up to those high expectations. The restaurant is stunning. Before the two brothers behind Ananda and the Ambassador Dining Room opened this Indian restaurant in the space in 2019, various restaurants and businesses had been in the space for more than 80 years. The team at Peerce's has done an amazing job renovating the space and making it truly stunning. There's dark wood paneling, mural or wallpapered walls, stained glass, fireplaces, and a gorgeous patio (although too cold on the evening we visited in January to enjoy). The service was also great - very friendly and helpful. The menu is varied. They serve North Indian/Punjabi dishes, with lots of seafood specialties. We ordered a few things to share: Fish curry (wild-caught black cod in spicy coconut curry sauce), Malai Kofta (vegetable croquettes and spiced cream sauce), Palak Paneer (organic creamed spinach and homemade paneer), Bhindi Pyaaz (okra, onions, and traditional spices), and classic naan. I thought the food was in general. The okra, palak paneer, and naan were also classic but didn't stand out as anything terribly special. The fish curry was fine as well but I found the portion size very small for the price ($37). The malai kofta is where they really lost me. I've had malai kofta lots of times (I was a vegetarian/vegan for around 10 years, and it was one of my favorite dishes to order during those years - and I still love it today as a very failed vegetarian), and this version really confused me. The menu led me to expect the traditional creamy sauce, but Peerce's version looked and tasted like tomato paste. It was overly sweet and tasted quite concentrated, underseasoned, and bland. It was a bright red and fell very flat. I wouldn't say that any of the dishes blew me away, but the malai kofta was a disappointment. We did order a couple of glasses of wine (they offer a few Indian wines which we were keen to try and enjoyed), and the service and ambiance were topnotch. Unfortunately - for me - the food was just underwhelming. Since it's a bit of a hike for those of us that live in Baltimore City, I don't expect to make the trip to eat at Peerce's again any time soon sadly.
