Clean, very nice, large shop with helpful staff. I had a polish change on feet and SNS on my hands. The shop has a large supply of SNS colors. The nail tech was helpful with matching the nail color. She did a great job polishing my toe nails. The SNS was applied thicker than I prefer and she missed putting polish on the lateral aspect of my thumb (hate when this happens). As a self-proclaimed "nail salon" shopper, the ladies at Kathy Nail have been awesome. Nina has done my nails both times and has been terrific. They even made an appointment exception for me to use AMEX although they typically don't take it. They're just really sweet and the prices are affordable AND they do eyelash extensions! Haven't tried that yet but maybe next time. Kathy Nails is definitely worth your time and the location can't be beat. So I went to the Kathy nails at 2:50 pm to get a mani and pedi. I was there for almost 3 hours and only got a manicure because they over book appointments and then are always under staffed. It should never take 2 hours to do a manicure and if it does something or someone is doing something wrong. And I'm to loyal of a customer to not be given a discount for y'all inconvenience not mine's. But no I still paid $110 for a manicure for myself and a manicure for my daughter fucking crazy if you ask me. She had the flu and was coughing in front of me and my friend & left . Didn't apologize but left for mins not only that they laughed and spoke and didn't finish my nails! The worst experience I've ever had. They blatantly were talking about another customer and then laughing at her right in front of her face. So rude. I got a pedicure and manicure. The "manicure" involved her rubbing lotion on my hands. I just wanted a natural, clear coat. My nails were uneven and still had left over nail polish on them. Last night was my last night of going to this nail salon. I wanted a nude color to go with my outfit (I had a dinner with my boyfriends work company). My toes look great, but my SNS was the worst. The SNS color wouldn't go over my real nail, so she tried to paint over the SNS will the nail polish that matched the color. It was looking great, then something went wrong when she started to paint my thumb. She proceeded to take the nail polish off and state how my nails look fine with the natural look. Sorry I don't want two different colors on my nails and toes. She kept asking me what I wanted to do.. (well I want the SNS color I picked out, obviously)! Me, annoyed at this point told her to just do my nails black. So she started over with the SNS process and I could obviously tell her and her coworkers were talking about me because she pointed right at my nails and they were laughing? LOL ALRIGHT! Spent over 2 hours in there for something simple. You pay money and leave a tip hoping you get what YOU want done. I woke up this morning and my cuticles are so sore I could have cried. I just walked in to have my gels removed. No redo. They got me in a chair and ready to go within five minutes of walking through the door, even with a full salon. The removal took about thirty minutes, which was fine, but the tech working with me accidentally ripped my nail to the point of bleeding, which made everything take longer. It was my right index finger too! Which I use to type stuff like this! It hurt for days, but healed just fine. Other than that, the tech was perfectly nice and they only charged me $10 since I had been injured. I tipped $10 anyways. read more

I went in first and they started on my girlfriend first and I was soaking for over 30 mins before they started. When she started I got half ass service and she snatched the volcano sheet away from me after I said I didn't want it. after that I asked for a regular fill in which was $20 on the sheet (the pedicure was $30) and I was charged $75. when I asked why she informed me that she gave me gel on my nails after I asked for regular polish. wasn't a good experience and I won't be returning. read more

Love this place! I've been getting my nails done here for aboit 6 months and while it may not be as fancy as other salons, the service is great and my sns never chips the way it does when I get it done elsewhere. It easily lasts 3 weeks. The prices are very fair. All of the staff is very nice and normally you are heated right when you walk in. I plan on coming here for a long time! read more

Never again! Loud environment so that you cannot hear yourself think . The ladies do a good job but they are unprofessional, talk loud and play the radio and tv full blast all at the same time. It is the most unrelaxing environment I have ever been in for a nail job. I have given them chance after chance but my last encounter went beyond the pale. If I could give it less than a star, I would. This is the worst manicure I've ever had! I took my daughter here for mani/pedi's. My pedicure consisted of them tearing up mine and my daughters cuticles. I don't even know where to start with the manicure... A girl named 'Nina' did mine. She didn't even remove all of my polish before starting. I chose to get tips with a French SNS. $40 which is ridiculous but we were already there so not much I could do at that point. Every single nail is noticeably crooked. I have two nails with brush bristles imbedded in my manicure. I told her it was there and she continued like it wasn't a big deal. The nails are so uneven. The white tips from the SNS don't connect on some of the nails. For the amount of money and time I spent in this place, I expected better nails than what I got. I am always trying new nail places. Usually it depends on which one is the closest to me at that time. I also almost always do walk ins because I never know when I might have some extra time on my hands. What I appreciated about this place is they had multiple people working so there was not a wait for a walk in. They sat me right down and got started. It was very clean and my nails looked wonderful. I got the SNS there for 25 dollars which is about as cheap as you can get it anywhere. I love my nails and they have lasted at least 2 weeks. The guy doing my nails kept trying to convince me to do coffin shape and I just wanted square. They were all crooked and 2 coffin shaped on one side. Also they left SNS powder glued on my skin . I came In for a take off and full set. Never been to this location before. Lady started to drill the paint off my nails and said she didnt want to do the take off because they're basically still new acrylics but my problem was that my left hand had a broken nail and a few of the other nails were chipped on the sides so they needed to be removed. The fullset that I came in for also required a longer length and shape. So of course, I was nice enough and said okay even though I, WHO IS PAYING wanted a longer length and shape lol. She realized the problem with my left hand And said okay we will do take off. Once she clipped my nails, instead of soaking them in acetone, SHE TRIED TO TAKE THE SIDE OF A NAIL TIP TO RIP IT OFF MY NAIL. I said "instead of ripping my nails off, can we soak them in acetone." I mean, WHAT NAIL TECH rips clients nails off like that and damages the nail bed. Never have I been somewhere and they tried to do that. I could've did that myself at the house if I didn't want to go PAY SOMEONE to do the removal COREECTLY. She was clearly lazy and didn't even deserve the $20 I left her for just clipping my nails and drilling the paint off. If you just want your nails painted and maybe a cuticle cut, go. But anything that actually requires time and patience (maybe some talent too), not a good place to go. read more

I cannot stress strongly enough... DON'T GO HERE!!! I went for a few months for SNSand it was fine. I saw Tee and she did good work until my last visit a couple of weeks ago. She finished my nails but the color seemed thin on one nail to me so she begrudgingly put on another coat, but didn't put on the right top coat for SNS, which dries very fast. With this she told me to wait 5 minutes and I would be dry, so I did. 10 minutes later I reached into my purse, and it smeared. I went right back and she apparentky didn't like that, because "fixing" it was sanding the top off so agessively that she had my cuticle bleeding, then slopped on another sticky top coat. It took over a week for my finger to heal. See pic, this is after a week of healing. So this week I went to a different salon and had the SNS taken off, only to find out the nail has a "greenie" which is a bacterial infection that I DID NOT HAVE when I started going to Kathys. I have came to this business several times in my life. Always having issues with the way they do my nails. I guess because I love the people. But today I came in an seat for 30 minutes. I understand being busy, I get it. But when three people walk in after you, and get seen before you with no appointment. That kind of bothered me, so I decided to look at the previous reviews. To realize the same issues I have, other people have to. Nails being sideways , old polish still being there when getting your nails done over. I feel rushed everytime I come here. I do pay money, my hard earn money at that. I get asked the same questions over and over. I believe this is just to by time.. like yes I have my polish, yes I wrote down what I wanted. What is the point of putting what you want if your not gonna look at the damn paper. Now I said I was leaving and they want to take me. I went to Kathy's Salon today and it was by far the worst experience of my life. I am 50 years old so that is saying a lot. I went there to have my gel nails removed and I was there for 3 hours. I was made to feel so insignificant. I came out and cried in my car. Kathy, the owner was the lady that worked on my nails with 3 other people at the same time. She would be with me for 5-10 minutes and then go to someone else and then after 20 -30 minutes come back to me. Don't go there unless you have 3-4 hours to spare and you don't mind them leaving you over and over again to do other people's nails or eyebrow waxing. They need to learn that they can't do that to people and expect them to return. Having your nails done should be a wonderful experience bc we all need a little pampering sometime but in this salon everyone was frustrated to say the least. Go somewhere else! read more
