Been wanting to try this place for the longest time and finally got a chance to visit. The chicken katsu was exceptional. I'm someone who loves light and crispy breaded chicken and that's exactly what theirs was, and so surprisingly tender you could slice through it with a spoon so easily. The tteokbokki was also so yummy, I wish they had a rosé option though. I also would love the option to choose what goes in it as there was a lot of fish cakes which I personally don't love and would like to swap it out for more rice cakes or rice noodles. I ordered the pork katsu rice bowl with a side of the curry dip yesterday for lunch. It was delicious and a very generous portion, so I had it for lunch again today. I really liked it! I especially appreciated that they put the egg, onion, cabbage, and sauce in a separate container to maintain crisp and freshness. However, ive never seen katsudon come with cabbage before. It wasn't bad, but it was different than expected, and I find that I prefer it without the cabbage. That could just be personal preference though! The curry sauce was delicious and I loved that I had the option of dipping my pork or having it with just the flavor of the rice bowl. I'd get this again for sure! My boyfriend enjoyed his Chicken Bowl, though he wondered if there was any real difference between it and a Chicken Katsu Rice Bowl--maybe just more chicken? Our friend ordered the curry katsu udon and agreed that the chicken's texture and flavor were practically identical, so if you're on a budget, the Chicken Bowl is the better value since it's $6 less. The spicy tuna yubu pocket was absolutely stuffed to the brim--100% worth the $4.50. On the flip side, another friend tried the egg salad sando and felt the bread tasted stale. I took a bite and noticed the same, so I'd probably skip that next time. This spot is located inside a small food hall with a few other stalls. Small lot in back and metered street parking are available. Their signature dish is their "Sando"s, sandwiches on milk bread with waffle fries, however we didn't try these on our visit. I had the Curry Katsu Plate with chicken, and my daughter had the Tteokbokki with Katsu. I have to say that the katsu here is excellent, they do a wonderful job keeping the chicken tender and juicy on the inside while making sure the panko breading is extremely crunchy, it is really excellent! The curry is delicious as well, and the portions are just right, it's a full meal where you don't have a ton of leftover rice.
