Charming cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. Unlikely place for good coffee! Chocolate cake was divine! Not made on premises, but good.

Came around 9am on a Saturday. Great service and a perfect way to start my weekend. Portions were hefty and very filling. Cozy ambience. Will come again!

Service is quick to take your order but when it gets busy you have to flag for the check. Food was cute diner style! $13 for the below and it was yummy. No parking lot just meters!

Reality check. Reasonably priced dishes, expensive smoothies.

(4.5 but giving them a 5) Picture this: After a long week you finally sleep in on Sunday with your significant other. Wake up to great morning rested sex... Now you are hungry...what are you going to do? You head over to Lazy Daisy for Omelets, Fruit, Energy drinks, Pancakes... The California Omelet I had was really good, loaded with veggies, the side fruit great, and the best breakfast potatoes. ($16) Good portion size. The green smoothy will set you back $9 but it has an orgasmic taste you will love. They know what they are doing at this restaurant. You will feel so good and energized after dining here. Now after you have restored your protein and carbs what are you going to do? You head it back to the crib for some great Sunday afternoon delight! See, I got you. Now maybe sometime in the future I will actually be living this delightful dream like you are--and I will know where to go for Sunday brunch. Atmosphere here is comfortable, clean, and the folks that work here are nice. I look forward stopping in again.

Huge portions at a reasonable price! Super friendly staff! I think this location is much better than the Westwood location, perhaps because it is less busy so the service is quicker. It's a diner vibe, which was exactly what I was looking for when I went. I'll be back!

Stopped in for a quick bite roughly 30 mins before they closed. Evelyn the server was nice and made sure we were taken care of without feeling rushed. The food came out and everything was so fresh! It also has a very cute decor with flowers and pops of color. Very inviting.

After walking past this restaurant multiple times, my husband and I decided to stop in for brunch. It wasn't too busy, which was nice for being seated immediately. I ordered a build your own omelette and my husband got the breakfast burrito. The mushrooms I asked for weren't included and half the potatoes were burnt black. The portions of food were generous but the flavor was so muted - I'd guess no salt or herbs were used. I loved the rosemary toast. We ordered a protein smoothie to go and sadly all I could taste was the protein powder. I appreciate the many vegetarian options on the menu but I wish they seasoned the food. I shouldn't have to douse it in hot sauce and salt.

I stopped for a cup of matcha and loved it. The inside was cute, but since they had an outdoor area I quickly relocated to enjoy my matcha outside. My friend got the strawberry banana smoothie and she loved it. We both enjoyed our choices and the price was surprisingly affordable.

I dropped by with a friend to grab some breakfast around 8am on a Wednesday, while waiting for another friend, and we had no regrets. We got there as soon as they opened, so we had plenty of seating options. First, service was quick, helpful, and sweet! We were checked on often, and we didn't really have to wait at all. Our server brought us what we needed, sometimes even before we had to ask! This was definitely some of the speediest and thoughtful service I've had. :) Next, the food! I had the Lazy Daisy Breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, and french toast. Visually, it was cute! The eggs were pretty standard, but the sausage was cut and cooked in such a way that the cut sides were a little crispy. The ratio of egg to sausage was perfect. This was a really solid meal! I was only hoping for a small breakfast, so I had set aside the french toast for a friend, who thought it was solid - nothing crazy, but good. I also got a honey latte with soy milk, and while it wasn't specialty-coffee-shop-great, it definitely had enough caffeine to keep me awake, and I definitely finished the entire thing anyway. Just don't expect their coffee to be the highlight of your meal! Overall, this was a great spot for breakfast in this area! Honestly, the service is really what takes this spot from a 4 to a 5 for me. We had no regrets, and I can definitely see myself coming back for breakfast the next time I need to wait in the area. :) Note: I can't speak to the acai bowl much because I didn't try it, but my friend and I were both shocked by how generous the portion was. He ate what he could, but had to take almost half of it with him!

If you're visiting the area, I highly recommend making a stop here. My biggest piece of advice is to go early because it gets incredibly busy by lunchtime--and for good reason! Keep in mind they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. While you can order online, I'll always choose to go inside so I can browse everything they have to offer. Their selection of fresh pasta salads is fantastic, and the desserts are always tempting. Whether you're craving lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, a chicken Parmesan sandwich, or one of their many other Italian specialties, you really can't go wrong. Be sure to check out the wine section in the back left of the market. It's extensive and absolutely incredible! This is the kind of place that keeps people coming back year after year, and it's easy to see why. Being Italian American and growing up with an Italian mother who loved feeding everyone, this was one of our favorite places to visit together. Those memories make every trip here even more special. My personal favorite is the Godmother sandwich--hands down one of the best you'll ever have. It's packed with flavor, made with quality ingredients, and it's the sandwich I find myself craving every time I come back. One of the things I love most about this place is the atmosphere. It has an energy that immediately makes you think of family. Everyone is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to help, making you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. It has that warm, old-school Italian family vibe that's becoming harder and harder to find, and it's a big part of what makes this place so special.

Their mozzarella sandwich is a masterpiece with Fresh Ovoline Mozzarella, Avocado, Alfalfa Sprouts, Pickled Red Onion and a delicious Za'atar Spread. What makes it stand out as one of the best sandwiches in LA is the bread. They make their own focaccia several times a day and it is divine. Probably the only other place that can dare to match their creations is La Zucca at the Beverly Hills Cheese Store. Some of our other favorites is the tuna sandwich. Service is always on point and the sandwich travels well for consuming it at home. There isn't a ton of space to sit, but there is some counter style seating. Tip: Their menu is limited by choice. Check their Daily specials (Sandwich of the Day) for inspiration. They have 3 kids sandwiches (all are meat based). Tip: The biggest challenge is parking, sometimes metered parking is available. Otherwise, park for free in neighborhood streets away from Montana. It's a pleasant walk.

The bread was crunchy, arugula fresh, and the pesto mayonnaise was great. However, it almost felt a little....underseasoned? I wish it had a bit more of a punch to it. You do get a good amount of food for what you're paying for, but personally, I'd rather go to All'Antico Vinaio in Venice and get a sandwich that costs a little bit more, but you get more food and a better seasoning. I'd go here again if I was in a pinch, but personally wouldn't try again.

I ordered The Old Sport, my husband had The Peter, and our three-year-old daughter went with the classic PB&J. We all absolutely LOVED our sandwiches. We also had the chance to meet the two owners (a woman and her partner), who were so friendly and incredibly sweet to our daughter -- such a nice touch that made the visit even more memorable. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the ingredients are refreshingly simple. I really appreciate that they don't use fake processed meats -- they keep it straightforward, yet the sandwiches are still outstanding. The bread deserves a mention too: crisp on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. I rarely hand out five stars, but they've earned it here. Making sandwiches taste this good with such simple and whole ingredients is no easy feat, yet they pull it off nicely. Highly recommend this spot for both carnivores and vegans alike!

I loved the caramelized onions and mushrooms in Wanda. The bread was top 10 breads we've tried. The lettuce was crispy and the tomatoes had a bite. The $20 sandwiches are a little sticker shocking considering there is no protein. Maybe the cheeses are made from nuts. I would definitely appreciate like a marinated tofu slice or even slab or tempeh with the existing dressings/sauces. The old sport had the chickpeas so we'll get that next time. My partner was obsessed with the walnut date syrup brownie.
