After reading the reviews about this place I decided it would be in my best interests to go here instead of a national joint and I was not disappointed. My driver side front tire has been leaking air for a couple weeks and I went in told the guys what my issue was and waited. Within 30 minutes the nail had been removed and the tire fixed. Tarik is one hell of a guy. Friday morning I called to inquire about some 35's and got a quote and financing for them. When i showed up, the phones were ringing off the hook, customers were getting service and yet, this guy took his time with me to find the right wheels to hold those new 35's. Tarik called several different vendors to see what would fit with the offset I needed and we finally found just the wheel. Keep in mind, he was always on the phone with vendors and customers, dealing with staff questions, customer questions and never skipped a beat on my set up. Tarik sent some one to pick up my wheels and 30 minutes later, they got busy installing one to check the fitment and clearance for me. One wheel took a ding during mounting but its not that big of a deal. Cant see it anyhow. The tires balanced out great. Not many places can mount or balance tires this big. I can clearly see why they have been in business since 1908. Tarik has earned a new life time customer from me and I will definitely send any one I know that needs tires to the guy! FWIW, I seen 2 different customers come in and get plugs put in and didnt get charged for it! Way to go guys! read more

After several estimates, A friend recommended Katz Tires and not only were they the best price, but accommodating as well. When they say it will take 1/2 hour to change 4 tires, they mean 1/2 hour. Less than a year ago we chose Katz Tires to get new tires. We were new to Columbus and we are so happy we went with Katz. Today, I ran over a nail and got a flat. I had AAA to repair the tire. I called Katz to check on the tire. They were TRULY wonderful and so helpful. They took the time to check the repair job and explain it all to me. Katz Tires is efficient, affordable and has a knowledgeable staff. They offer great solutions at great cost. It's hard to find people in auto repair that you can trust, but Katz won't try and upsell you. They give you what you need and that's it. I had a nail in my tire and they removed and patched it for $20, I had a flat for no apparent reason and they checked the tire, filled it up and sent me on my way with no charge. great tires and price but went back for tire rotation. they asked me for my reciept i didnt have it with me they kinda gave me a hard time. after 10 minutes of talking and having to get the finance company on phone. rotation was done. But when tire rotation was over i asked the to re-learn my tire sensors they said that they would do them self after driving. I work in auto parts store i knew that wasnt the case i asked again. I removed a recent review after speaking to the manager who is amazing. The employees here are less than what is expected. Being verbally abused after finding out that the manager requested to help me with my original concern. I'll never be back and I'll tell everyone I come in contact with to run away from Katz Tires. Until now I've had nothing but rave reviews. It's sad that other customers are asking why they are leaving before me when they arrived after myself, then I'm lied to about why it took so long. I did a lot of online "research" for replacement tires and ended up simply relying on the great reviews Katz Tires has stacked up. As others have commented, the shop is made to work with tires and not a show room where other tire dealers would try and sell you something you didn't know you needed. The price I was quoted per tire included everything out the door. Their everything included refinishing and resealing my aluminum rims, reusing the stems that are tied to auto's sensing system and checking they worked, balanced each tire with precision learned from repetition and disposed of my old tires in about 45 minutes from pulling in to their shop without an appointment. Katz sold me a Kenda tire that had favorable reviews and was basically a bargain compared with some brand name tires many others offered. Good old fashion good business. Highly recommended read more

Not having a lot of knowledge about cars in general makes repairs very stressful. I often feel that I am being taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge on the subject. Katz is the only shop I've ever been to that doesn't make me feel like they're using my auto ignorance to their advantage. These wonderful people are so friendly and honest and won't even charge you a cent if they don't have to. I have come to Katz on a couple different occasions, a couple times to purchase tires (and they're CHEAP!), and a couple times just to get a tire repaired. If they can repair your tire quickly and reasonably, it's free of charge. If you tell them you need a new tire and you don't actually need a tire, they will be honest with you. I love how they do business. They're very customer oriented and want to get you in and out as fast as possible while paying as little as possible. This strategy works all too well because I will keep coming back for as long as I live in Columbus. I have referred friends and family to Katz as well. I haven't heard a bad word from ANYONE. They've been around for years and will continue to thrive for years to come due to the loyal customer base they've created.
