Tried the SNS dip for $35 just to try it out. Was an interesting process! They dip your fingers in powder and then put a clear coat and repeat. Then she sands it down smooth and adds a final clear coat. It seems like this will last longer than a normal manicure, kind of like a gel. Their color selection is the largest I've ever seen. It's amazing. My reason for giving a 4 stars is because they charge an extra $10 just for cuticle cut... I really love Kay! She is so nice and provides the best service. Am surprised by the experience I had. The reviews are really great here so I thought I would give it a go. I felt very rushed! There was only one other customer there. They all seemed like they were unhappy with me just getting a regular mani-pedi. The younger lady who did my manicure was making me feel very unrelaxed. Not sure why she was rushing me, there was only one other person in the salon. The lady who charged my card was also rushing. It wasn't a very relaxing experience either, as they kept talking loudly through the whole mani-pedi. The older lady asked how I had heard about them and then told me that only long-time customers come there. I didn't know what she meant. Are new customers not allowed? I wanted to love this place and maybe I just didn't have the greatest first experience but will give my honest review! I booked my appointment with the owner Paul who I messaged back and forth about a particular design I wanted. They were the only salon that said they could do it with SNS so I was stoked! Pricing was fair for what I was asking for so I booked. Upon arrival, the sweetest girl at the front desk already exceeded my expectations! She made me feel welcome, brought me colors, she helped me in and out of my chair and even helped take my socks off for my pedi. One of the girls started the process and got rid of my dip I had on, and left me after wrapping the foil on my fingers. The girl from the front desk moved me to my pedi station and I sat there and waited (for pretty long actually and I had an appointment). Someone came to start on my pedi, while a different girl than the one that originally started on me started working on my nails. My thumb nail had broken pretty substantially and she kept asking what I wanted to do with my nails because they were uneven. Being she's the professional, I would think she would have suggested either cutting, filing, or putting a tip on my broken nail but she just looked at me almost confused about what to do next. I told her I didn't want them to be uneven so we should do what she thought best. Finally the other woman that originally started asked me what I wanted to do and I repeated that putting a tip on would be fine or whatever would make them look best. I'm mostly upset because my two thumbs are uneven even after asking her twice to keep filing the nail with the tip down because it was significantly longer than my other natural thumbnail on the left hand. As a professional, they should be the ones paying attention to detail and should catch that and make sure the nails look as even as possible. After she finished my polish the other girl that started my nails in the first place had to come back and do the design. I don't like when salons switch people back and forth. I should have the attention of one and only one nail tech through the process. If only one of the women were good with designs, she should have done my nails from beginning to end. The design: after showing her the photo at the beginning of my appointment, when she went to go do it she said "oh no I didn't know you wanted marble" yet when I showed her in the beginning she said "okay so you want all four of these designs". I've seen marble done and she tried to hand paint the marble on since that nail was already painted instead of using the regular technique to achieve marble. My other fingers have flowers on them but it was like she was afraid to get the polish on my nail because the designs aren't too visible. I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to designs, but I do expect them to show if I'm paying an extra $15 dollars for them. Pedicure review: she was fantastic and really took her time. I'm a runner so she really really gave my feet a good treatment in terms of tending to some peeling skin/healing blisters. My thumbs don't look even and the gel topcoat is already peeling off on one nail, so I'm a little unhappy with my experience overall. Paul said I could go back when I messaged him and they'd fix it but I just didn't have the time to drive back over there with my work day today. To be fair, I want to give them one more chance because they do seem to really know their stuff when it comes to actual SNS technique and application and that's all I get on my nails so quality is important to me. If I were in for a simple SNS manicure without the tip situation or design, I think it would have been a home run. Unfortunately the other things did effect my experience. read more

I was a walk in at this salon and they accommodated me right away. At first I thought I was going to leave a bad review because I was unhappy that they filed the surface of my gel nails (to remove the top coat) and no you don't have to have the surface of your gel nails filed in order for the gel to come off. It will come off as long as it is in the foil/or directly in the acetone for a long enough time (15 min should do it)...(that I'm unhappy about but this is pretty much all nail salons unless you go to those really "high end" nail salons like Namaste Nail Spa in Studio City (btw they totally did a bad job on my nails over there but that's a different review) So anyway...I don't remember the name of the girl who did my gel but she did a great job and I'm happy with how they look. This was my first time trying the SNS dip powder & the result turned out amazing! I've been doing gel manicures for the longest, but after how great my nails turned out, I'm switching over to dip. The salon is welcoming & it doesn't reek of the strong acetone odor which was nice. They also have organic options which everyone loves, right? The staff was very friendly as well. I've been coming here for the better part of this year, and I've recommended it to literally every person and friend I have who has expressed any interest in getting his or her nails done. It's simply the best place for all your nail needs - manis and pedis. First, this place is SUPER clean. No matter how busy they get, it's always kept in like-new condition, and I came here when they first opened. Next, they have SOOOO many colors to choose from whether you're coming in for regular, gel or SNS. They also do chrome powders for an additional $15. My real review is for Lee. I followed Lee to this salon from her previous location and for good reason. She is literally the BEST. Her attention to detail when it comes to shaping, filing, cleaning my cuticles, and painting my nails is unmatched. I have never had anyone who cared so much about my nails as much as I do, but Lee really cares about giving you PERFECTION. I've been a loyal customer of hers for a year now, and while I've cheated and gone to other salons for a mani when I was out of town or desperately needed one and couldn't get an appointment, no one has ever come close to her level of expertise. The other thing I will say is that if you're indecisive about your colors like I am, Lee ALWAYS has a recommendation. And it's always a good one. She's done custom colors for me on several occasions because I couldn't decide. It comes out beautiful every time! She also has great suggestions on nail shapes if you're ever in the mood to try something new and mix it up. Kay is a wonderful individual as well. I've never had the pleasure of having nails done by her, but she's so welcoming and greets me by name every time I come and offers me water or tea to drink while I wait. Basically, if you're on the fence about this place, just do yourself the favor and come. Ask for Lee or Kay because they're just fantastic at what they do. You might want to make your appointment several days in advance though because they tend to have booked schedules and can hardly ever take walk-ins if you want Lee or Kay. I wanted to love this place but sadly I had the most disturbing experience ever at Kaylee Organic Nail and Spa. Long review but details are needed... I made my appointment with Van and then called the next day to ask if my sister could join me ONLY if they had availability. They agreed that they had the time, however, when we got there we felt extremely rushed. I wish that they would have explained - upfront- that they did not have the time for two people. We were barely into the service when my sister and I could feel that we were unwelcome and rushed. The original technician that was working on my sister abruptly switched mid pedicure to work on me instead of my sister. After sitting for a bit and feeling that they were both rushing through the service my sister politely asked Van whether or not there was someone coming after us causing the rush and whether they were sure that they had enough time for both of the manicures and pedicures. She nicely said that she has been there before several times and this time feels a bit rushed. Van responded that someone was coming after us and that that if my sister didn't like the service then she didn't need to get it. Of course this response was shocking as it just seemed extremely rude and uncalled for. The girl that was working on me was intently staring at Van and my sister listening to their conversation. She was getting visibly angry, tensing up, lips shaking all while working on my pedicure. I sat there in silence. She stares my sister down and suddenly burst out that she's been having problems with "her" since she walked in referring to my sister. My sister and I were both confused and shocked, and the girl jumps up yelling at her and proceeds to call us both "low end customers" and said that if we cannot afford the service then we should leave" ... These were her exact words. I Imagine her comment was partially due to a simple question my sister asked when we sat down confirming the cost of the service that she was getting as she does not typically get gel. This seems like a fair question and in no way should indicate that someone is being cheap or cannot afford the service. Being that we did not see the prices posted anywhere she just wanted to confirm so she could decide if she was getting gel or regular. My sister was pretty silent this entire time so clearly the technicians anger felt extremely misplaced and was very confusing to both of us. My sister has been here several times and is a very generous tipper. This girl clearly was unaware of that and seemed disgusted to have to service us which was very unsettling. At this point I clearly did not feel comfortable so I got up and told Van that we are going to leave and that I was shocked by the way we were being treated. The girl began to angrily pace back-and-forth yelling at us, calling us cheap and stating that she has "better customers" than us all while we were trying to get our shoes on in order to leave. Obviously very upset, we told the girl that this was so uncalled for and unacceptable meanwhile the owner was trying to calm the girl down asking her to walk away and apologized to us saying that she knows that the girl is wrong and that she's really sorry, that the girl is "only a worker" and doesn't have experience with customers. This was single-handedly the worst experience I have ever had getting a service anywhere. I am appalled and disgusted with how we were treated. I do not know if this was race related but it sure felt like it. I do not think she would've spoke to a white person this way. From the beginning she seemed that she felt we were lower class and did not deserve her service which is absolutely insane. I explain to the owner that you never know who you are servicing... you never know what they have, what they do and who they can recommend to visit your shop. My sister works at the studios around the corner and has recommended SEVERAL people to come and visit this shop... That will NEVER happen again. I explained that she should be careful when hiring people like that who discriminate because it can harm her business. She agreed and apologized. I really think that if she keeps this person on her staff it is going to be detrimental to her business. And while she apologized, part of the issue was that she herself was not very welcome in the beginning which probably gave this worker the authority to treat us like garbage. Sadly this treatment still happens with very little consequence. I left feeling saddened that there are people in the world that are so ignorant. We will never visit the shop again and I highly recommend that the young woman that had this vile reaction to us find a new profession. I think there is obviously profiling happening at this establishment and it's evident in the way that we were treated. read more

This place is FANTASTIC!!! Newly refurbished from Jade spa to Kaylee nails and it is just gorgeous. I don't think I will go to any other salon- this place has it all. They even have new-trend items such as nail foils and dip gel. The ladies here do a wonderful job and are so sweet- they offered us chocolate and water when we came in. Price was great compared to other nail salons (Oasis charges a fortune now). I seriously can't say enough. Parking can be tough. Great place. Very clean and new. It doesn't have that chemical nail polish smell-- yay! Got the signature mani and pedi, both ladies were great and had strong pressure for the massages. She did my neck and shoulders for the arm massage, awesome! Didn't want it to stop. It's like grand opening prices so it's well worth it! Come check it out. They're very polite and not your typical Vietnamese nail salon. Lots of colors to choose from and stored in the nail like display book, so you're not juggling 100 of those metal rings around. This is my new favorite nail salon. It's clean, they use pedi bowl liners and all their tools are in sterilized pouches before use. I've been to so many nail salons around me and I'm always a bit grossed out at the cleanliness level and they usually cut my cuticles until they bleed. :( I've never had that problem at Kaylee's. Also got there a little too close to closing and I never felt rushed, the ladies took their time and I appreciate their attention to detail. Oh, and they out little slices of lime in their mani bowl! Just had a great gel manicure here. I was in the area and I'm so glad they squeezed me in. They use organic nail products if you ask for it, and they also use non-toxic gel polish for their gel manicures. I don't get my nails done unless a place offers non-toxic/natural or organic. I'm sensitive to strong smells so that's mainly why I try to avoid going to nail salons. However this place does not smell like that typical acrylic chemical smell you get from nail salons. Only to find out the best they could do was "Ombre". So I found this place and Lee was the first person to do a French SNS Dip. She did such an amazing job that she's my regular manicurist 3 months later. I have had pedicures done by all of the ladies in the salon, all are very talented (Leena is my favorite), and you can't go wrong with this place. It's very clean, professional and friendly.
