Excellent food, service and desserts. The food comes out quick and is generous portions

So, I heard about this local pizza with a blend of 3 cheeses, including American. Kay's was recommended (as was Ferri's, but it's apparently only carryout). So, I ordered a small (8 slices) with pepperoni and mushrooms. Thin, crisp crust, and I think the cheese blend makes the pizza creamier. It is a fantastic pie. The restaurant was a little cold, but the waitress was delightful. Had a very nice cannoli for dessert. The dessert case (and cinnamon rolls) seem very popular. Had to wait to pay. The pie was so good, I'm now curious about their other Italian food. I'll be back! read more

Mostly only get pizza take out from Kay's. But, the front at least appears as you'd expect an Italian eatery to. There are cases of sweets and desserts that I want to try but haven't yet. You can sit on a stool if needed while waiting for your order. The kitchen is straight to the back behind the counter so you can sort of see the cooks preparing food. Haven't seen anything iffy or weird yet LOL. The pizza is pretty good, you can actually taste flavor and seasoning in the sauce unlike a few other places around here. Kay's is also as far as I can tell the only place around here selling stuffed crust, but if I am wrong I'll edit later. Who can say no to more cheese!!?? Service is always very friendly, polite, and nice. Pizza times are a little longer than others, but the place also has consistent business. Biggest negative is the parking lot is a little small, especially if you're driving a large pick up truck. Will continue to frequent Kay's. read more

The tomato sauce is nothing close to Italian. Locals love this place probably because they don't know any better. Pasta was overcooked, the margarita pizza used the same sauce they use on everything. They shouldn't call themselves Italian. The Cinnabon was the only thing that tasted good. Not coming back. read more

Haven't been to Kay's in Daleville in quite awhile. Always good food. Got veal parmesan, lasagna with a side of meatballs. Came with salad,fresh bread,and a couple of cinnamon rolls, took most of it home with us. Lol The service was prompt and courteous and checked back several times to ensure we had full drinks, and didn't need anything. Highly recommend. read more

This is a must go to restaurant here in the Poconos Pennsylvania area. The restaurant has an amazing selection of antique furniture which creates an environment of truly classic dining. The people are exceptionally friendly and truly welcoming to people of all walks of life. The food is what really hit the spot for this Texan, they have portions that will satisfy any appetite, nobody goes home hungry. Personally I had the Hamburger hoagie and it was like I was right back in Texas, the size and taste could easily be considered Texas cuisine. This is our go to when we come to the area, the food is good service is friendly and the atmosphere is really interesting from the train cars seats to the collection of really old cigarette machines. This is where we come to start our week or weekend because the portions are huge and for us it is enough to eat for more than a few meals. We started with the free intro's of chick peas salad, cucumber salad, fresh bread, and cinnamon roll. That all came before the apps. For an appetizer we ordered the garlic knots, (not for the weak of heart) they come in a bath of butter and garlic and side of sauce. Absolutely amazing! I got a house salad which was good, and my wife got the soup and it was really good. Now by this time we really don't need anything else, and we have not touched the bread or cinnamon roll. But we forged ahead. My kids got the small double crust pizza I got the lasagna with a side of meatballs and my wife ordered the meat lovers backed Ziti. The portion size are huge. They make the Cheesecake Factory look like an tapas bar. The food was all amazing. They use rosemary in the white pizza that gives it a unique taste. And the meatballs are reason enough to go. But just when you think you're done you walk up to the counter to pay and you are confronted with a huge selection of backed goods and desserts. All house made and again huge. You can't go wrong here either. We ended up getting several cakes, rice pudding and a tiramisu. Obviously for later because at this point we are tapped out. And we are leaving with more bags of food than our last trip to the grocery store. Overall great atmosphere, people, food, and backed goods. We will be back again!! read more

Everything about our experience at Kay's was wonderful. Our server was super nice and personable. The food was delicious...we started out with the best garlic knots I've ever had. I got the steak and cheese stromboli as my entree, which fed me for multiple days after and was fantastic! My kids got meals off of the kids' menu...my daughter had the ravioli and my son had a burger. They were both so happy with their food and there was plenty of it! I promised them Kay's famous cinnamon rolls for dessert...I had only heard about how amazing they are, but I swear these were the most epic cinnamon rolls I've ever eaten. I'm pretty sure they use marscapone in the icing, which made them that much more decadent and delicious. Can't wait to go back with my kiddos and have more amazing food! read more

Went to Kay's again this July 4th weekend. This time with my 3 children and husband. My oldest is vegan and they were able to accommodate her!! I had the old world style pizza, hubby had a meat lovers pizza. I can't say enough good things about Kay's. Our waitress was just perfect as well!!!!! read more

Huge portions, and awesome looking desserts although we were too full to try them! My sisters ordered the trio...loved the stuffed shells, thought the eggplant was okay, but the lasagna was horrible. Mom had the linguine with white clam sauce which was diced canned clams. I had the chicken parm, sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking but overall it was pretty good. They gave us complimentary cinnamon rolls for the table as appetizers...we took it home as it was served cold with whipped cream instead of glaze. I did try it later than night with coffee, the cream melted when I microwaved it for 10 secs ... it was tasty! read more

Stopped by Kay's for lunch today. We were greeted promptly and our waitress was pleasant. I had the buffalo chicken hoagie which was huge. I wound up taking half home. It was good, but the star of the meal was the calzone my wife had. She orders calzone frequently and said this was the best she has ever eaten. Again it was huge and we took half home. While the place itself is not fancy. The food is worth going for. And don't forget to check out the homemade desserts at the counter if you're in the mood for something sweet, there was quite a variety. read more

Structure itself is adequately giving me a family vibe. I come inside and there is always a smile on the face of the person at the front desk. Always makes me smile back. The seating area is also quite adequate. Not too squishy and not too spacious. Just right. I always get a Caesar salad with chicken pieces because it is just so damn good. I also get calamari EVERY TIME. The stuffed crust pizza is also AMAZING and I enjoy it whenever possible. There are times when someone dropped a utensil like a fork or something and they were always on the ready to replace it. They didn't watch or stare while we ate. Very homely and kind workers. This is probably my favorite restaurant in the Pocono area. I absolutely adore their Old World pizza. I have to get it every time I'm in the area. If you like peperoncinis, make sure you get the Olive and Pepperoncini salad. It's just giant green olives and pepperoncini peppers with a few seasoning spices and an olive oil dressing. Pure salty, briny, spicy deliciousness. The chickpea salad is also very good. It's chickpeas with some chopped celery and onion, seasoning spices, and an olive oil dressing. The eggplant parm, calzones, gnocchi are all good also. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything you order here. Don't miss out on the cinnamon buns! They are heaven. One of our favorite places in the area. It's always our go to place when we want to eat locally and not drive too far. The food is always flavorful and plentiful. I was treated terribly by wait staff when I asked to move to another table due to feeling very claustrophobic and like I was going to have a panic attack in a very small 2 person table. There were 2 other larger tables open, I was told that I had to go and wait behind the other people, there were almost 7 or more waiting.
