Order was wrong, again. We order the same things. Protein may change but always order combination plates with some with their chicken fried rice, and some with their vegetable lo mein. Floor and cook wise it is always a hit or miss. Always spent around $100. Total miss again. All combination plates came with lo mein. We got no rice. Ugh. Called to let them know and they told us that's how we ordered it. Will never go back. Terrible customer service. Food is mediocre at best. I had my doubts about a Chinese restaurant in such a small town, and especially with this kind of name. But, I was staying at the Rodeway hotel and I was tired and didn't feel like going to a restaurant, so, after reading the reviews, I decided to try it. Well, let me apologize for my initial hesitation. I went there to order because I wasn't quite sure that the website was accurate. I placed my order and expected to wait at least 15 minutes. It was ready in maybe 5 minutes! And the young man at the counter even remembered that I mentioned wanting chopsticks. I'm usually disappointed by egg rolls that are made outside of the Detroit area; they're usually stuffed with cabbage and are not that good. But this was delicious! And the chicken fried rice was really good as well, and not greasy like I'm used to. And my chicken lo mein was delicious as well. One combination meal was enough for 3 meals for me! read more

This has become our go to Chinese takeout! The food is always hot and fresh and my husband loves their fried wontons (it's the only thing he will eat from a Chinese place). They actually aren't on the menu any longer but they will make them if you ask. The best part is that they don't taste like dirty grease like at most Chinese restaurants. read more

Across the street there was this Chinese restaurant and we ran into this gem. All you can eat for under $6 until 3pm. We didn't expect the food to be aa great as it was. The meats and vegetables are very fresh and believe me, I have tried other places but they're just not the same.. the staff is always very friendly and the place has updated a lot since it first opened! Well, where to start. Went first time about 6 weeks ago, had sweet/sour pork, thin coating, crisp, good size pcs, very good, 5 star. Fried rice, 2 star, not much flavor. Egg roll, 3 star, just so so. Wife had honey chicken, 5 star, rice & roll same rating. Went back 3 weeks ago, had Moo Goo Gai pan, great 5 star, rice, 3 star, got a little better, egg roll 4 star, got a little better. Wife had seasoned chicken, 5 star, about the same as me for rice and roll, got a little better. Now it gets interesting, went last night, Saturday night with a sister and mother, my mom and I ordered sweet/sour pork and wife and sister order Almond Boneless chicken. We sit down, they then come to our table and say they only have enough pork for 1 serving, what? This is 4:00 Sat. afternoon. Mom takes S/S chicken instead. My pork came and it was just like a lot of other Chinese places, thick coating, small pcs, dripping with grease, and tough. (Where we were sitting I could see the pre-cooked and coated pork and chicken in a big plastic pan) all they did was put some in the fryer and continue to deep fry until done. NOT FRESH MADE! They didn't even have enough pork for one serving and about a third of mine was chicken, tough and no flavor also. Moms S/S chicken? Same as my pork. If your still following, it gets better. Almond Boneless Chicken,,,, wow,,,, never have in my born days have I seen it like this, just a couple veggies on the bottom in a very rich soy sauce that was as thin as water. Then they put what looked like to be 2 chicken fingers on top with about 9 or 10 Almonds sprinkled on it. Someone better go back to Chinese cooking school. As for the Fried Rice/Egg Rolls? We all agreed a 3 for the rice and 2 for the roll, just nothing special. O, and I almost forgot, Mom crunched on a bone in her chicken so I put the bone on a napkin and brought it to the counter to let them know about it, (we just wanted them to know we found something, we did not want a refund or anything) and the gentleman says, and I quote, 'oh' no thank you, no sorry, no anything. Sad part is wife and I were saying how good the main entrees are at this restaurant so we took sis/mom there for there first time. At this point most people can guess we'll never be back! read more
