Three of us went there very early dinner. This place was tiny but they keep it super clean. The price point was perfect and truly enjoyed each one of the freshly made sushi! The service was very attentive. I'll definitely go back!

Omg love this place! $75 for 13 courses. Every piece was amazingly delicious. We ordered a ton of extra specialty pieces and hand rolls. Definitely one of the best deals for high quality sushi in the city. It's a one hour seating. Highly recommend!

I came here for dinner and enjoyed my experience! Located in the west village, this cozy spot has both bar and table seating. When we came, we booked at 7:30pm reservation, but they accidentally had it down as 7pm and booked another table at our seats at 8pm. So unfortunately, we weren't able to sit at the bar the entire time and had to be moved to a table. Not the biggest deal, but I think I would've enjoyed my meal a lot more at the bar. Otherwise, service was great. They were attentive and I also loved how they didn't put the next course onto your plate until you've finished your most recent one (some places stack them and it feels rushed). We did their 13-course omakase and everything was delicious! I thought their cuts were thick, and the rice ratio was perfect. My favorite pieces of the night were the salmon and uni (which they stacked with so much uni). Everything was fresh and I absolutely loved it. Would recommend this spot as a more affordable omakase that definitely gives a higher-end experience!

One of my favorite omakase experiences in NYC so far. The service was phenomenal, and each sushi chef tended to a small group (about four guests per chef), which made the experience feel intimate and personal. I'm not the biggest fan of uni, and they were more than happy to swap it out for another piece without hesitation. For $75, the 13-course omakase felt like an incredible deal -- I left completely satisfied, and it even included a small dessert to finish. High-quality sushi, attentive service, and excellent value.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was so good so fresh. It was everything there's fish that I never tasted before some like some I didn't, but if I didn't like them, the texture was so amazing. I cannot explain it as an experience that you must have I had a 13 piece course meal and amazing. The food food in Fresh from Japan I even had delicacies and I never tasted before in my life. It's amuch try I even love the presentation that they did it right in front of you. everything is clean just a beautiful experience. I recommend anybody to go and try it out. The waitress was so sweet They constantly checked on us to make sure we was good make sure our cups was filled up at all times I couldn't ask for a better time. I was happy that I went.

Exceptional service and incredible food. Some of the most fresh and tasty sushi I've ever had. Will definitely come again.

This place was to die for. We came for dinner on a Monday night. Promptly seated at the time of our reservation and all of the staff was lovely. They welcomed us in and took our coats. Our chef was so kind and had a great energy. The fish was fresh and flavors were well balanced. We ordered a small bottle of sake to accompany the meal. You can also order a la carte at the end, which I took advantage to have more toro. It's intimate and inviting. It was my birthday so they offered a glass of sake on the house and came out with a slice of cake at the end (believe it was tiramisu). The value is unmatched. Can't wait to come back soon!

This place is amazing. Every piece of sushi was super fresh and delicious. The chef's are quick, skilled, and friendly. Service was good too. They also gave us some champagne as my girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary which was a nice touch. I wanna come back here every time i visit NYC.

Dined at Kazumi for dinner and will be returning! It's a cute 12 seat omakase sushi counter for $75, plus there are add ons you can make after the omakase. My friend was running incredibly late, so they offered to seat me and start the service without her, or our service might feel a little rushed. I chose the latter and never felt rushed the entire time. The seating is only for an hour, but I am so grateful they didn't turn me away when my friend was running so late! They have two booths if you order extra and your timing runs over, so they can keep with the flow of the next reservations. The fish was amazing and tasted so fresh. So many pieces were melt in your mouth good! They made a substitution for me for the uni course with mackerel, and that was probably the only piece I didn't love. We added on an additional snow crab hand roll and an extra piece of the truffle wagyu! Kazumi is all around a great spot!

Great omakase place. Each piece was pretty good and I really enjoyed the scallop and king salmon.

I love checking out all the under 100$ omakases! This one is definitely a must for that price point. Pretty nice inside and we loved our waitress Sammie. Will definitely be back! I would suggest leaning into the free house sake shot vibe- a little goes a long way :)

My new favorite budget omakase! Every piece hit and the chef customizes the pieces based on what you like/dislike. The fish also came in a very generous piece and I definitely felt full after! My favorites were the sablefish, uni, and lean tuna. Service was also great. We did not feel rushed at all, and since we were celebrating my friend's birthday, we also got a slice of cake and shot of sake on the house! Such great value without skimping on quality!

All I can say is wow! This omakase was seriously incredible. The fish was so fresh and melted in my mouth with every bite. We even ordered off the side menu when it was all done because it was so delicious! I definitely can't wait to come back here. The sushi chef also made the experience so good! Thank you Kazumi!!

One of the best omakase I've had in the city. And it's definitely a reasonable price for what you get. Would definitely come back!

The slices aren't thin, delicate, and melt-in-your-mouth as one usually gets in a sit down; they are extra thick, and I had to really bite down on some of the pieces. The rice was nicely seasoned and was cooked well + portions are also big to match those thiccccc salmon slices. To be honest, I was getting a little nauseated after 5 pieces, haha~ They were definitely delicious but I'd probably just eat 3 or 4 pieces and share with a friend! It was easy to text the number on the website and coordinate a pickup time, and the staff was friendly when I arrived. The restaurant is a little hard to find as the windows are blinded and the sign is a piece of paper on the door.

I've taken a lot of friends here over the course of 10 years, and without fail, every one of them has walked out mindblown--and why wouldn't they?! The wait times have gotten better over the years (probably because people are waiting for the restaurant next door), but the food and drinks here are still top-notch. Staff is always great, and they all work so efficiently. I am generally a fan of izakayas, but there are very few that offer plates that are designed to be shareable, and this is one of the reasons the food here is so enjoyable in a small group setting. I am obviously biased and think they can do no wrong, but some of my staples that have stood the test of time: Kimchi cream udon, avocado tofu salad, salmon sashimi tacos, and the kani cream croquettes. I was so excited when they opened an outpost in Flushing years ago, but sadly it shuttered during COVID. It is definitely small and there is always going to be a wait, so don't be those people who come in with a huge group during prime time because they like to move (getting customers in and out) very fast.
