We have used them several times and are completely satisfied with the job they do every time. They show up on time, and are usually able to schedule you pretty quickly. Not only are the carpets in our home visible cleaner, they also feel softer under foot . The job is done very quickly (which was good for our cat because the cat was freaking out in the bathroom), and the carpets were all dry that evening. As far as price goes they are very fair. You never feel like spending money on things like carpet cleaning, but it really increases the life of your carpets. You could try to rent a carpet cleaner yourself and save some money, but it won't look half as good and you will spend your day off fighting with the rental carpet cleaner. Well it all started when I called them. Ken was efficient, quoted me on the spot for the cost of the entire cleaning. When I asked when he can be here, I expected something like "3 to 5 days" range, but he said he can be there tomorrow noon and maybe before that. I thought the disrespect from this company was over with once they had left, but I was wrong. The POLICE SHOWED UP AT OUR DOOR LATER THAT DAY and told us they got a call from "someone" who stated that our house was unfit for human life. So they asked if they could take a look around, and of course we agreed, and as they examined each and every room in our house, told them about the situation. The house was in the exact same state that it was when this company saw it-we stopped cleaning it out when they told us they weren't going to do the job. The police told us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with our house and it was perfectly fine to be living in. They also thought it was strange that a carpet cleaner wouldn't clean the carpets, yes they were dirty, but obviously that's why we wanted them cleaned, they apologized for the disturbance and left. So if you would like to be totally disrespected and harassed by a company (and the police, apparently), this one's for you! If your looking for a professional company that shows even a speck of respect to its customers, i suggest looking elsewhere. This guy shows up 30 mins early pounding on my door at 820 in the morning. He pushes his way in the house with a bad attaduie and then takes two steps in then leaves saying get a hazmat worker. Called late Wednesday afternoon, so late in fact that when I called back with the room dimensions it was already after 5; thus, He briefly mentioned he may be able to squeeze me in tomorrow, since I stated I needed him to come out ASAP. I got voicemail, but no big deal. He called back shortly after 8 AM Thursday morning and we agreed to 11 AM after he was finshing a job nearby. About 10 he called and said he was on his way. I didn't even begin to finish the last of 3 rooms that needed to be cleared and prepared, but sooner would and did end up being better. As the guys got started on the job, I focused on clearing up the 3rd room and by the time they finished every other room, they offered to help me fill boxes to clear the room and keep them going. The end result? In an hour it was all done and they were on their way and the carpets were like night and day, just like when we moved in! I called vendors who never returned my call, would take days to come out, etc. I could have gotten a lower price by using a coupon, waiting a week, etc., but as far ascustomer service and execution goes, Ken is the man! The first time I used KB carpets was 7 years ago, right after my son was born. My dog had just had a litter of puppies shortly before and they did a number on the carpets. Ken was on time, tackled the carpets and was done in no time! But what really won me over, was that he also cleaned the baby's room (which I didn't ask him to do because I didn't think the carpet was "that bad") but he saw the crib and just did it anyways.
