Small Korean eatery with fresh great tasting food! Saw someone post about their beef bulgogi and decided to give it a try. We ordered Beef Bulgogi which was excellent 10/10 ! Great portion of meat, well seasoned and delicious literally not a bite was left! It was soo good smelling i forgot to take a photo! came with steamed rice and for Ban chan spicy cucumbers 8/10 (i like extra hot) and a macaroni salad i ill be back to try the kimchi next time. The tteokbokki was AMAZING it had fish cakes and not overly sweet like many places and not too spicy it was a rich and yummy sauce. 10/10 would come back just for this! The service was awesome the owner was very friendly, explained the menu and was very welcoming. Its a good size shop with about 10/12 tables, even had some wuality kpop playing. Its food for a quick eat or getting takeout. Over all for the price great portions and i will be back to try the dumplings and shortribs onnthe menu!

It's great to have a Korean food option in this area of Marietta (super close to 75/285 interchange). It's a small place in a strip mall. The inside isn't too exciting but good enough to grab a quick lunch. I believe it's family owned. The cashier was pleasant when I came in to order a lunch to-go. He didn't ask me if I needed any recommendations or if I've been there before but he seemed nice enough. He commented to someone ordering after me, "welcome back", so hopefully it's the type of place that will focus on customer satisfaction. I ordered the bulgogi beef box which comes with rice, spicy cucumbers, and macaroni salad (I subbed it for kimchi). It's what I'd expect at a quick restaurant, the bulgogi isn't the top of what I've had but isn't the in the bottom either. The kimchi was flavorless, which I can honestly say seems like an oxymoron. I don't plan to try their kimchi again. The rice and cucumber were good though. You can't be that combo for $13. They also have a small assortment of Asian noodles, think in a bag that you heat in water. They even have a water kettle for you to make the noodles there. Apparently, they have beer and wine coming soon. I'm guessing soju too? That'd be great! I hope KBBQ lasts!

It's the best Korean spot off windy hill in Smyrna! Must try, affordable and deliciously homemade. You can taste that a Korean mom made these sides and marination. Some people only had premade, prepackaged kimchi and never know it but if you've had authentic, you'll know the difference. The place delivered exceptional grade meals and sides. Love it

I just got off work and saw this place and decided to stop in.The price was very reasonable and the service was very friendly and kind. Definitely a mom and pop type shop but worth it. They also have dine in available as well but I got my food to go. Had the Spicy Pork Belly and got extra food to try later.

Beef Bulgogi extra beef with rice Japche with the beef bulgogi on top Fries!

We had such a great experience here! Andy, the owner, was amazing and took great care of us. We ended up chatting with him the whole time, which made it feel really welcoming and personal. We ordered the beef bulgogi with extra beef, japchae, and fries. I added our extra beef on top of my noodles while my boyfriend had his with rice, and everything was delicious. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the house sauce for the fries were a 10/10. I loved the touch of herbs on top of the fries. One thing we really liked is that they specialize in boxes instead of bowls, so everything is packaged separately. It keeps the textures and flavors exactly how they should be! They've only been open for three months, so definitely go support them. We'll definitely be back soon!

Lunch KBBQ Spot is an absolute MUST. Andy has created something really special here. The food is seriously 10/10 -- authentic Korean flavors done right. I ordered the galbi and the spicy pork belly, and both were incredible. The galbi was perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the spicy pork belly had the perfect kick -- bold, savory, and addictive. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. Knowing this spot is owned by Andy -- an experienced KBBQ cook, and the fact that this is a mom & pop shop makes me want to support them even more!! If you're craving top-tier Korean BBQ, KBBQ Spot is the place to go. It's convenient, clean, and delicious! The cashier Rebekah was also so amazing and kind! Highly recommend -- I'll definitely be back!!

Just tried out this new spot after a workout at Windy Hill. I believe they said they have only been open three days. This is an immediate favorite. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting, but the food was the real star. The LA Galbi was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The spicy bulgolgi was also great, but be aware, it lives up to its name. If you aren't ready for some heat, this one may not be for you. We asked us if they had any gochujang and they brought us a very tasty soy based red sauce (no heat, but very savory) and a citrusy, tangy, cilantro based sauce they are currently developing. My wife despises cilantro and she even thought the sauce was quite excellent, which speaks very highly of its quality. Looking forward to trying the other menu options. So glad there is a delicious and convenient post-gym dinner option.

    Spicy Chicken

Best thing to hit the scene recently. It's on the healthier side. Not too expensive. Food is bold with flavor. The chicken spicy is not that spicy but it's on the sweeter side and is really good. I've already been back 3 times.

Ordering through their website was easy and the food arrived surprisingly fast, which immediately lowered my blood pressure. We ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl and the beef MeatBowl. Portions were generous, especially the protein. One came over steamed-fried rice, the other over noodles, and both were flavorful and satisfying without feeling heavy. We got seated right away on a Friday night around the large conveyor belt of sushi and sides. We totally missed that there was a QR code on the table to place orders there so we otherwise ordered with our waitress and grabbed what we could off of the belt. Unfortunately, it would take some time to replenish the belt so we found ourselves asking the waitress for multiple dishes in the meantime. We ordered a variety of proteins but found the steak bulgolgi and signature steak to be the better choices. The others were a little bland or off putting. Almost everything burnt onto the grill right away but staff were on top of changing it out frequently. Overall, we had an okay experience. The staff was great but the quality of food could was middle tier. Atmosphere was otherwise chill but someone was definitely in their feelings because all they played was Rihanna, which I didn't mind.

They had a deal for $5 for 5 sides where you could get a whole trayful of tteokbokki and a good deal on their "Seoul bowl" which was a meat, 2 dumplings and a side. I understand that the economy has changed a lot in the recent years so they could not maintain their prices. However, I found that the quality of food was also declining while prices continued to rise. This last time I visited, I got the kimbap and bowl (pork bulgogi and japchae). This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. The kimball was falling apart, so much that it was difficult to eat. When you went to take a bite, all of the contents fell out. The bulgogi and dumplings were fine but the japchae was very bad. Like I said, I've been coming here for years and I have *never* seen the japchae look like this. It was dark and chewy like rubber. It was so bad that I couldn't even finish half of the side before I called it quits. I did reach out to the restaurant soon after and they were very apologetic and offered a refund. I am just disappointed that one of my favorite restaurants is changing so much. Additionally, they updated the menu recently and took off some items that I previously enjoyed (like the potato tornado). Most of all, I am disappointed in the tteokbokki deal. It is now $2.50 for 4 rice cakes (you can count them in the container). And I am also sad that the japchae wasn't good as this was my go-to place for Korean japchae cravings.

My broccoli was fridge cold, which is common in this establishments. They also have Gimbap, which I used to joke around are korean sushi rolls. The quality of the meat is decent, though not always as tender or flavorful as you'd expect from a traditional Korean BBQ spot. Some of the marinades are good, but others feel a bit bland or lacking in depth. The side dishes (banchan) are a nice touch, but they can be hit-or-miss in terms of freshness and flavor. Overall in all, KPop BBQ To Go is a solid option if you're craving Korean BBQ and need something quick.
