Angry Zuko Ramen Noodles & Crispy Veggie Spring Rolls
    Katura B.

I visited Lifting Noodles @ the Battery with little expectations. We didn't realize that Ph'East was a small food hall, but we went for it anyway. The food here is a bit overpriced (IMO). I ordered the Angry Zuko, without the egg & Bean Sprouts & added chicken. I assumed (which is on me), that the broth would be creamy, but it wasn't. It wasn't bad, it was just a bit greasy. The flavor was tasty and the corn was sweet, which is a plus in my book lol. Unfortunately the chicken was DRYYY, but expected from chicken breast. I also ordered the veggie spring rolls, which were tasty hot & fresh! And you get 5 pretty big ones! Overall the service was nice, the food was decent but I'd much rather visit a ramen restaurant. Nothing against the restaurant, I think there would just be more options available. But the vibe is nice if you like food hall's, but the price was just a bit too high for my liking.

Of Course the Battery is an amazing experience overall! However this restaurant is a must come to! I love watching Naruto so of course I'm going to eat ramen. This bowl is to die for! ( Not literally ). The waiter was very respectful and knowledgeable. He even helped us create a kids ( build your own ) chicken ramen bowl. We enjoyed eating outside with fresh air soaking up the lively energy! Thank you for the food!

Delicious pork gyoza! Great size to snack on. My son and I tried their beef pho. It was our first time and it was pretty good. One order was more than enough for my son and I to share. We could not finish it all!

I was in the mood for ramen and saw that Lifting Noodles was open until 10pm, so I decided to check them out. The restaurant is located in the Ph'East food hall in the Battery. It was pretty slow so I was able to walk right up and place my order. I ordered the chicken ramen and a Thai tea. The tea was already pre made in the fridge. My food was prepared quickly. I'll just say that the ramen did not satisfy my ramen craving. It was bland and cold.

1 Up Vegetarian Ramen Noodles - absolute no...broth is like water, no flavor.

Location is in the Ph'East food hall at the Battery where there is a full bar & multiple Asian cuisines to choose from. Cafeteria-like seating and the bar area has seating too. My review is solely based on the vegetarian ramen which was flavorless, unfortunately. It came with a good amount of veggies but the broth was water, no flavor at all. The cooks were nice enough to give me some sesame oil & a chili paste to help it so wouldn't be a total waste of money. The additions did help but it shouldn't take all the extra to give ramen flavor. Perhaps their ramens that have meat are more rich & flavorful but the veggie ramen is garbage. For my vegan / vegetarians I'd recommend Jinya's vegan ramen which is very good, don't waste your coin here.

Love the option to build your own bowl - we've been a few times and everything we've had has been tasty! Typically service is quick, and you'll only wait about 10 minutes for your meal. We especially Love making the broth spicy - it adds a great flavor without being overpowering! Ph'east is a great spot to grab lunch with tons of options for groups to pick what they want and grab a drink at Taps.

Very disappointing! The noodles had 0 spice or flavor. Just reddish color and the broth tasted like water. I'm not sure how this qualifies as ramen! The place was also a little tough to locate. They also charged $5 for takeout cutlery and paperware, which was not properly closed and spilled all over our vehicle on the ride home. I will not be returning.

I honestly thought I had the best ramen in Atlanta a few months ago; however, on Wednesday, October 18 I went to this restaurant and had the most delicious, most flavorful, most filling ramen experience ever. The spicy tan tan ramen was excellent! I don't even know how to fully put the taste into words. Just know it was delicious and an absolutely perfect portion that does fill you up! I will be returning to the battery to get this exact meal again and again. I receive my meal fairly quickly. It was a Wednesday so it wasn't super busy.

We went for dinner and it did not disappoint. I got the spicy ramen and the kimchi was phenomenal. It has just the right amount of spice. My only 2 complaints are it wasn't hot (temperature wise) and the noodles were a little too firm for my liking. Almost like if the broth had been hotter the noodles would have been a little softer. I would certainly go back and just ask for my food to be a little hotter.

This Amazing Asian Foodie Market had me in a choke hold for 3 days straight! I ate at every single tiny storefront for 3 days. To be clear The Battery has many food options over 15 to choose from so with that said This place was amazing! I ordered the chicken ramen it came wit pickled ginger, crispy seaweed, corn and a perfectly cooked egg. The broth was the star of the bowl. I literally bent my head 2 inches above a barely cleaned surface just to slurp the broth out of the bowl. I don't know how this restaurant was able to elevate such an inexpensive meal but it was EVERYTHING!

Excellent ramen with all the right toppings and a spice that has a nice kick. With got the tan tan ramen and it did not disappoint. The pork broth that great flavor with a nice creamy consistency which is desired in ramen. Located in Ph'east food hall for convenience right by Truist park and with so many other options nearby whats not to like? If you are in the area, do try this spot.

Visit Crispy Brussels Sprouts OMG so delicious!

This place is a solid ramen spot located in the battery area in an open concept restaurant. It's a pretty cool spot with a bar located in the center surrounded by 6 or so other food spots. I have now been here a few times and each time service is just ok and this is really based on the front counter help because I have talked to the guy making the ramen a few times and he is totally nice. Making this change would make a huge difference. The other night was a great example. Walked up the employee didn't even make eye contact at all...ordered my food no thank or anything. Sat down and waited a solid 20+ minutes which was odd for this place. But the food was so delicious and had great flavors. Everything I have tried so far has really been solid and has great flavors. My favorite has to be their crispy brussel sprouts and their spicy tan tan ramen noodles. Hoping on my next visit they fix the front counter help and this place would go to a 5 star.

    Village classic ramen bowl
    Kim B.

Certainly a little on the pricey side, but you're at the Battery, so that is expected! I got the Village Classic bowl which is a pork tonkatsu broth filled with all the standard ramen items. A plus is there was no additional charge for the egg, as it true for many other ramen places. The bowl was huge and plenty filling, not just all broth with a few noodles and very small pieces of everything else. It was worth what you paid for it, considering the location. Next time, if I'm looking to nibble rather than eat, I will definitely try the brussels sprouts - they sound amazing!

I hadn't been back in almost two years and unfortunately, this visit just didn't hit the same for me. I ordered the same spicy Tonkotsu ramen I had before, but it tasted completely different this time. I remember the noodles being very fresh and the broth having a much richer flavor. This visit honestly reminded me a little of Jinya's ramen, which personally isn't my favorite style. The broth almost tasted creamy, like milk had been added. Maybe not, but it just didn't taste as fresh to me with a deep flavor as before. Someone also recommended the Okiboru buns, and I wasn't too impressed with those either. I originally wanted the braised ribs, but TikTok hype convinced me otherwise, so that part is on me. Looking back, I think the ribs or even the panko shrimp probably would've been the better choice. The shrimp is my normal app so I take fault for the switch up. Overall, I'd still say give it a try for yourself because everyone's taste is different. There are a lot of ramen spots around Atlanta now, though, and this visit just didn't leave me as impressed as my previous ones did. Just being honest.

We walked into a modern, energetic space that feels approachable whether you are stopping in for a casual lunch or settling in for dinner. The atmosphere is polished without being overly formal, with a layout that works well for both quick meals and longer visits. The energy in the room stays lively, but the service keeps things moving smoothly enough that you never feel rushed. The signature ramen and Dark Knight ramen are among the restaurant's most talked-about dishes, both built around rich broths and deeply savory flavors. We tried the signature bowl and found the broth well balanced, with a depth that comes from proper technique and quality ingredients. The Dark Knight brought a more intense profile, with layers of flavor that built with each spoonful. The lobster ramen and wagyu ramen add a more indulgent twist, while the Dirty Vegan ramen has developed a following of its own thanks to its creamy broth and unique spinach noodles. The variety across the menu means you can explore different styles across multiple visits without feeling like you are repeating the same order. Part of what makes E Ramen stand out is its ability to cater to different preferences without making anyone feel like an afterthought. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free diners will find several options designed specifically for them rather than simple menu modifications. The service tends to match the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere, with staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and willing to guide you through the different options without being pushy. The pacing of the meal was comfortable, and the team checked in at the right moments to make sure everything was to our liking. Rather than relying on a single signature dish, E Ramen succeeds because of its range. Whether you are craving a classic bowl, a richer specialty ramen, or one of the restaurant's well executed vegan options, it offers enough variety to keep both first time visitors and regulars coming back to explore more of the menu. The quality holds up across the board, making it a destination that delivers on its reputation without feeling like it is trying too hard to impress.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.
