This is by far the best Ace Hardware I've ever been to. I know I may not look like it, but I'm…read morehardcore about hardware. The space is very open, not congested like other Aces I've been to. They have a ton of unexpected items, like the photograph I attached of gift wrap (?) paper that I bonded with the employee on regarding how we buy oversized paper like this to decorate our walls at home. Hehe I had such a pleasant time here. They only have a few brands of teeny tiny paint sample cards (I collect them to use as bookmarks or affirmations to tape on my mirror, etc). I'd come back in a heartbeat even though I'm not located in the area, just bc I haven't seen an ace hardware quite like this one. Thank you Fullerton Ace Hardware!

I am a military minority Veteran who was treated with disrespect at Fullerton Ace Hardware…read more I have a toolbox that doesn't stay fastened so the clasps come off repeatedly. I asked the Ace guy about suggestions and he said, "There are no choices, and you just have to accept the problem." I asked the Manager and she said, "That there is nothing to fix the problem" I asked her if she had a toolbox and she said "No" and a screw wouldn't solve the problem and she got offended when I questioned her further and she asked me to leave. I don't appreciate being disrespected by a manager who is sensitive when challenged and the staff at Ace who didn't want to help me. No one was kind to me at all. Is this how you treat a minority Veteran who serves your country and instead is treated like dirt. The women don't know anything about toolboxes and aren't interested in helping me at all. They show no interest in looking for a solution and claimed that there was none! I wouldn't go to this Ace hardware store where you can't express your opinion, and you have to walk on eggshells! This is a hostile environment where expressing yourself is not welcome. I don't think freedom of speech is welcome as well at this store.

Great In-Store Service, Terrible Customer Support Hotline…read more I ordered two medicine cabinets from Lowe's because they were in stock (even though they were slightly more expensive than Home Depot). Shipping was supposed to take 5 days, but when the delivery came, I only received one cabinet--the second box was a random piece of luggage I didn't order. Calling customer service made things worse. Abigale was unhelpful, gave contradictory answers about a discount, and hung up on us after we asked to speak with a manager. When I called back, Tina (a manager) still couldn't resolve the issue. Also, be aware: debit card refunds can take 3-10 days, and they won't guarantee any discounts over the phone. On the positive side, the in-store experience completely turned things around. At my local Anaheim Lowe's, Kayah in returns was great and made me feel valued. She brought in the store manager, Edward, who handled everything professionally and gave me a discount for the inconvenience. Bottom line: Store employees like Kayah and Edward are excellent. The customer service hotline is extremely frustrating--skip the phone and go straight to the store.

While they did replace the refrigerator, they refused to take any responsibility for the food loss caused by their defective appliance. I understand policies, but when a product failure directly impacts a customer, there should be some level of accountability or goodwill. Customer service felt dismissive, and no effort was made to help beyond the basic replacement. I expected better from a company like Lowe's.

He was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely kind. In today's world, it is not always easy to find someone who truly cares about helping customers, but Emmanuel went above and beyond to make sure we understood our options and felt comfortable with our decisions. His positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and willingness to help made our experience exceptional. Home Depot is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee representing their company. Thank you, Emmanuel, for your outstanding service and for treating us with kindness and respect.

If your plant dies within a year, you can bring it back (dead plant and all) with your receipt or the card you used, and they'll refund you. Trust me, as someone who does not have a natural green thumb, that policy has saved me more than once. I picked up three plants today, all looking healthy and happy on my patio for now. Once the sun gets too strong or the cold rolls in, they'll be coming inside with me. I love browsing their plant area -- good variety, good prices, and the peace of mind of that 1-year guarantee makes it totally worth it. If you're a plant lover (or a hopeful plant lover like me), this location is solid.

Only one was in stock. But some low life thief took out the 17mm . I noticed that there were other tools that were stolen out of packaging. A great example is the rubber gasket inside water nozzle. My friend pick up a $3.99 water nozzle and was about to put it in cart. I noticed that half of them were missing the rubber gasket that seals the water connection when the hose is connected. So I put it back and found her one that had rubber gasket inside. So be careful when you buy an item from here. Because some thief probably took what they want and closed packaging . Store employee was helpful and offered me 20% off the tool with missing 17mm. But I decided against it and went to La Mirada location, I did however buy stubby tools and a bunch of HF bags.

The line at the registers next to the Pro Desk is often 8-10 customers deep while staff stand nearby instead of helping move the line along. As a contractor on a tight schedule, that lost time adds up quickly. On top of that, Pro Loaders are frequently unavailable when needed, which makes larger material pickups inefficient. I'd really like to see better support for contractors at this location -- quicker assistance at busy times and more reliable loader availability would make a big difference.
