On a recent Sunday afternoon, just passing through town, my wife and I decided to give this a try after skimming through Yelp reviews. The fact it was only a very short walk from the Holiday Inn Express May have influenced our decision. We are glad we did. There were only about 10 customers in the neat and clean dining room. After placing an order of tortilla salad and 2 tacos (mahi mahi and shrimp) our items were brought out in a reasonable amount of time. The salad was very good: flavorful with just the right amount of dressing, variety of ingredients and abundant portion. My wife thought the grilled mahi taco was delicious but the 2 pieces of fish were too small. However the shrimp taco was quite tasty with a generous amount of shrimp. I noticed they have several locations in the state. We will definitely be returning. read more

Very, very good! Very, very expensive! I've been there twice so far and both times I got the "Make Your Own Burrito." In mine I had them put steak, onions, jalapenos, cilantro, garlic, and creamy chipotle sauce. Awesome! Everything tastes so fresh and snappy. The steak was sizzling hot and seasoned beautifully. The onions, jalapeno, and cilantro were cold, raw, crisp and delish. The garlic was proportioned just right. The flour tortilla was "grilled" just right so as to get that hot, chewy texture. Perfect. Just an all-around great tasting burrito. The atmosphere is brilliant. The interior is beautiful. The walls were painted with deep colors, and pictures of "KB" fans displaying their Ketchum Burrito T-Shirts as they transverse the globe hung with pride. They draped these colorful silk blanket-things under the overhead lights (see pic). Gotta' admit: never seen that before. I really enjoy the fact that an owner cares as much about how their restaurant looks as much as how their food tastes. I do have one complaint. Although the food is five star, the price is not. Over NINE dollars for the "Make Your Own Burrito" and said burrito was no larger than a bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell once you tightly wrap the tortilla around the ingredients as they kind of loosely wrap it so as to appear larger than it really is. To be fair I specifically asked them to hold the rice/beans as, apparently, those two are the default ingredients in their burrito's. But I do this in every establishment that makes burrito's as I feel it's too easy to stuff a tortilla with rice and beans. If you do that, you're covering up the real flavor of the meat. A fountain drink (Coke products) was THREE dollars for a 16oz cup. I truly hope KB stays in business as Twin Falls can use more of these restaurants. I also hope that the owner(s) reexamine their prices as I feel that $12.00 for a normal sized burrito and a drink is a bit steep. All in all, my experiences here, thus far, have been superb. Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food; just expect to pay for it. UPDATE: April 2016 KB is opening another restaurant in Twin. This second location will be located in downtown. Definitely not authentic tortillas, at least, but it was good enough. Better tortillas would help a lot. :) They weren't folded up at both ends, and they were super crunchy. The meat was good. Great service, clean environment and fresh ingredients. The ingredients each shine on their own without being all muddled together. We got a salmon burrito and a chicken burrito and both were fresh and full of flavor! Plus the seared tortilla created a crunchy texture. Also got the chips and salsa. If I'd have reviewed KB's after my first visit it would have been 1 star. But I tried it again after realizing my burrito had been ambushed by guacamole from hell. I don't there is any guacamole in heaven because avocados are the devils footballs. But I couldn't figure out why this burrito was so bad. Between the green slime to the undercooked rice (I like crunchy cheetos and nestle crunch but not crunch rice!) I was hating this burrito. BUT! I gave it another try and had them perform an avocado exorcism ridding my burrito of the satanic slime. This time the rice was good, the meat (steak, is there any other kid worth gracing my buds? Nay, there is none.) was tender and juicy. The sour cream popped in all the right places. The hot sauce was poppy enough you don't want to actually drink it but good enough to make you drink it. Also, it didn't hurt there was a coupon getting a free burrito and drink with the purchase of a burrito and drink. BOGO free is the best BOGO if ever there was a BOGO. KB's could be testament to giving a place another try after a bad experience. read more

Like many cities, it seems like a lot of the better places in Twin Falls are in their downtown area, this being one of them. Unexpected combinations of burritos (think more Mex fusion or Tex-Mex fusion) but extremely well-thought out and made and with a smaller Coke Freestyle in place, this definitely does a nice job of touching all the bases. The flavor and texture combinations worked exceptionally well on my shrimp burrito, but throwing in the touch of their house red (chipotle) sauce just really put it all the way over. Green sauce was horrid, however, but the other stuff is so good, it doesn't do much to take this down. It was a bit dimmer than I liked inside, but realistically, the only reason this place isn't a 5 is because I have more things to try before I push it over into this, so let's call that 4 a 4 with a bullet... read more

Wow! Talk about excellent!! If you are looking for vegetarian options, this is the place! It's hard to find healthy choices sometimes and this place will be one I go to often. They also have meat of course. Outside dining is nice and the service was good. They do not serve coffee, but have wine and beer. They do need to update their location for Yelp. read more

This is NOT the best Mexican food in Twin Falls. The salmon was good, and the ingredients were fresh, BUT the quantity of the burrito is minimal, ingredients are scarce/under-proportioned. Was not as appetizing as the high price sold it for. The service quality was poor/un-enthusiastic, they seem to have a good take on fish, but not a good host/cashier. Be careful. Google maps will have you going down a back alley if you are on Chaney. The real entrance is the seond right, on Filmore. Nice staff. Love the decorations, it is a lot like a southern California vibe. I tried the Hailey burrito, and was pleasantly surprised. Try it with the black beans instead of the re-fried. I'll bet you'll like it. The green chili verde sauce is excellent! It says extra hot, but to me it was just right. Be sure to get you hands on it! For the first time ever, service and food was awful! I placed an order to be delivered, was told it would be a half hour. I called the first time an hour after placing the order. I was assured my food had only been sitting there a little while. Yuk! I called again fifteen minutes later and was canceling my order, the manager let me know that it was out already for delivery and assured me that the order would be fresh and hot and I couldn't cancel. My meal as well as the rest of the office experienced cold, soggy food. Not worth it! If you order, make sure you walk in cause this was awful! At some point you wonder if customer's really matter, maybe just not to KB's downtown Twin. $24 for food, $5 tip and the worst food I've experienced at KB's ever! read more

Usually food is super delicious for KB's! So I was super disappointed to have spent $13 and received a half-assed breakfast burrito. There was soggy bacon, semi-hard potatoes and so much cheese I had to eat my burrito with a fork as to avoid some of the cheese. This was not a super great experience for me and I am super sad to have gotten low quality food from a typically high quality place. When I called to ask about a refund, I was told that they didn't do refunds on delivery and that they would not be fixing this problem. Bummer deal. read more
