I don't usually leave reviews and only hold a few businesses in the highest regard. I purchased my dream car - 2025 Porsche Macan Turbo EV intending to paint it a Porsche color the factory would not put on my model. Soon images will be on Halsey's website (Blur in front of their office). I had been worried about the misalignments and digital issues caused by taking it apart (thousands of pieces). I didn't trust anyone with my new baby that was extremely costly to me. Kim, Dustin, David, and Than all earned my trust rapidly and thoroughly. They bubble wrapped each piece and labeled each recording video on how to remove to reference when assembling. Amazingly, after a 500 page scan from Porsche (before and after), only one speaker wire had to be re-attached. I inspected the car for almost an hour looking for every tiny thing. Example: knowing the VIN stickers were removed and replaced, I looked for corners peeling up on each sticker. I am VERY picky when it comes to this car. The result: not ONE issue found. I was simply blown away. I would give them 10 out of 5 stars. The finish was smoother than glass, beaded water like brand new ceramic coating, shinier than still water, and with directional paint changes color subtly depending on lighting - as the Porsche dealer noted - simply the most stunning Porsche he's seen. They made my Dream Car a reality without the nightmare. Although I think Than had nightmares about taking it apart. :) I would HIGHLY recommend Halsey as I interviewed several painters and only a few were brave enough / crazy enough to take on this type of car and in depth project. It was high risk for them, and it turned out perfectly. The whole process was actually fun. On top of all that, their effort was much higher than the estimate, but they honored the original estimate. My mother took her car in after it had slid into a curb and broke the axle. Kept the car for 3 months and the rear hatch doesn't close properly after the repairs. They stole the bottled water, spare motor oil jug, homemade beef jerky, 2nd pack of road flares, and tp that was back there for emergencies, and they stole my mom's small fossil and made no attempt to recover any of the stolen property. My mom took it there to tell them about the rear hatch and they said to just jiggle it to get it to latch properly. Do NOT go here if you like not having your stuff stolen out of your car read more

Returned it 4 times, only to ultimately remove it from this shop and now it's in a different shop and they are finding so many careless mistakes on this brand new vehicle! My collision occurred on a Thursday evening and resulted in not being able to shut the drivers door. On Friday, I began calling collision centers and all were telling me it would be 2-3 weeks before they could schedule an appointment to look at my car. I had no idea about the backlog and was very frustrated. A colleague recommended KC Halsey Collision Center. I called Friday afternoon and they said they could look at my car the following Monday. KC had a loaner for me and I was able to pick that up that afternoon. A tow truck came to my home the following Saturday and took my car to the shop. I just picked up my 2020 Nissan Rogue and am very pleased with the results. They cleaned and detailed the inside and even took care of a scratch I had that had nothing to do with the collision. It looks as nice as the day I bought it. If I had gone with one of the other autobody shops I would still be waiting for the estimate. I noticed some leaking of water in the back of my car a year later and called them to help. Jimmy explained that they were at capacity until the new year and would call me back after reviewing my previous repair. KC repaired my truck about 15 months ago and all was satisfactory. then about 2 months ago it started to have a noise like something was grinding. took it to my mechanic who couldnt find anything and the decided to take it to KC because they would know better. they took it for a ride then they put it on a lift and about 10 minutes later the mechanic said your heat shield was bent, rubbing on the drive shaft and that he bent it back and noise was gone. all staff was very helpful and friendly and after 30 minutes i drove away without any cost. read more

I brought my car here for a insurance claim for getting rear ended. Simple body damage - I drove the vehicle there from Vancouver WA. It sat there for a little over a month because they were telling me false information about the insurance coverage. They completely tore out my inside paneling , and left the vehicle un-driveable while they were "looking for the problem". After a little over a month they had charged me 4500$ for storage , without having done any repairs whatsoever , and in fact causing significantly more damage to the interior and the undercarriage. I took the vehicle home via tow truck because it wouldn't drive and had to pay out of pocket for the storage fees which at 125$ a day are more than double the city average . !!! I was T-boned by someone who ran a light, but was insured. I worked with KC Halsey Collision Center to re pair the body, wheel and more on my 2016 Toyota Highlander. From the beginning, Dustin was very easy to work with and made sure all of our concerns about our car were addressed. We got our car back and unfortunately it started making loud noises. I have actually never been a customer of KC Halsey Collision Center, but was overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity of the owner and staff here. Long story short, I was without a vehicle due to theft and due to COVID, the DMV was backed up for months. I needed my title before I could get my insurance claim so was without a vehicle and without funds to purchase a new one. My insurance agency (State Farm), works closely with this shop and had reached out to them to see if they would let me use one of their loaner cars.
