We loved our stay at Keiki Beach Bungalows. Waking up right by the ocean and enjoying the peaceful, stunning atmosphere made for an amazing experience. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was welcoming and helpful from start to finish. We can't wait to come back.

Loved our stay here, we rented the anthurium unit for one night. It had everything we needed, and right on the beach. The unit itself is also right on the road and it's very very noisy at night, and while it's also the largest unit to rent it shares walls with 2 other units. We got there about an hr after check in and had to wait 30 mins for the cleaner to go in. That was annoying to say the least when you're spending $1000+ per night, check in was at 3 and check out was 11. plenty of parking for the unit, street parking is close by but not the safest.

These bungalows are located in the North Shore area and are situated alongside Ke Iki Beach. The property had gated entry which was nice and a small parking area within. We arrived at a certain time to collect the keys to our bungalow from the manager onsite; however it would have been nice if there was system in place to retrieve your keys or check-in at any time (similar to a hotel) as we were driving in from over an hour away. I do not recall the name of the particular bungalow I stayed in, but I liked it. It was on the second floor and had a good number of windows which allowed for the ocean breezes to flow thought. This was very much welcomed as the unit did not have A/C and only electric fans were provided.i could see how it would have been very hot or uncomfortable if I was on a ground unit with no A/C. There was also a large covered patio/deck at the front where you can views the beach and watch the sunset. The property for the most part was very private. This was my first time staying at a bungalow so, I was not exactly used to the lack of concierge or housekeeping amenities. Towels and some kitchen items were provided, but make sure to bring extra of whatever you think you might need. There is a grocery store about a 5-7 min drive away so that was helpful at times. Overall, not a bad stay and beautiful sunsets if you are looking to really get away to tranquility in a remote location in North Beach.

Fabulous family getaway that's conveniently located on Oahu's North Shore in Haleiwa. Close to restaurants, golf, horseback riding, shopping, and more. Located on the beach and includes an outside shower to get off all the sand before you enter back into the beautiful and clean bungalow. Great large outdoor patio to relax and watch the beautiful sunset and venture into the 7 mile miracle. Highly recommend this location to locals and visitors.

I've got mixed feelings about this place. Here's the Cliffs Notes version: Pros: -Right on Keiki Beach -Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean -Rooms have a kitchenette -Parking is included -Gated, secure property Cons: -BUGS -Some rooms are not very clean -Only ceiling fans for A/C -Your deposit doesn't go towards your total charge and is only refunded after you check out. -Possible issues with the computer reservation program For the longer version (War and Peace edition): I booked a room 8 months in advance so you can imagine my surprise at finding out that I wasn't assigned to my room or any room in the system when I checked in. Greg the manager was luckily able to put us in another room for one night though and we were able to stay in our requested room for the remainder of our stay. Our first stay was in the gardenia room. We opened the door to be greeted by a roach just chillin' on the window. Señor Cucaracha glanced at me in a Kafkaesque fashion before his light was snuffed out by a timely swat with a rolled up magazine. Sorry not sorry dude. We paid for this room. The windows in the bathroom don't give you a complete seal of the outdoors so you will get all manner of insects stopping by to say hello at night if you have the light on. I killed a flying ant only to find another ant flew in to be its pest proxy. The walls are thin. If your neighbor has a crying fussy toddler guess who you are going to hear at odd hours of the night? You'll also hear said toddler screaming at odd early hours of the morning, whose parents let them run around naked in public while they eat breakfast and feel OK having their clothes and toys strewn over the sidewalk and common areas. We didn't use the kitchenette too much but it didn't look like it was in great shape. The fridge and stove were rusty. The shower area was rusty too. Good thing I've gotten a tetanus shot in the past. As for the rest of the room, it seemed like they cleaned some areas but left others in a sad state. There were some spots that had layers of dust accumulating on them. We moved into the pikake room after the first night which was so much better! The room is newer and looked like it was cleaned more thoroughly. This room comes with your own private parking spot, a little shaded bench and table outside, newer appliances, newer shower, and more privacy. I didn't hear any of my neighbors in this room, only the rise and fall of the ocean waves at night. The only benefit of the gardenia room that I saw was that it is right along the beach and is a bigger room. The pikake room is only a short walk to the beach though. Both the rooms do not have A/C, only high powered fans. We came here in mid October and it still was a little warm for me. The fans helped, but if you stay here get used to the fact that the humidity will make you feel like you're sticky all the time without an A/C unit. I was actually really hesitant to want to stay here after I was charged twice for my deposit. The deposit for us to stay here was $300 so when I was charged $600 to reserve a room I haven't even stayed in you can imagine how I felt! When I emailed the manager he said there was only one charge on file and said to take it up with my credit card company. In additional messages the tone he conveyed came across as defensive about the situation, reiterating that he never charged me twice. I asked the credit card company if there is ever an instance where a charge can be made twice where it isn't authorized by the vendor. They said no, credit card companies will not authorize any additional charges unless it's done on the vendor's side. After months of having the credit card company dispute my case for me, the extra $300 was taken off my statement. This indicates that the bungalows acknowledge there was a double charge. When I arrived I didn't know what to expect of the manager based on how he came across in our emails. When I met Greg in person though, he is a very nice, friendly guy. Very chill and relaxed and the opposite of what I imagined based on our previous correspondence. Unfortunately, I had to give a reminder to refund my deposit otherwise I would have lost the money I spent to reserve the room that apparently wasn't even reserved for me. Note that your deposit does not go towards your total rate. You will only get it back after you check out. If you cancel at any time your deposit is non refundable. I felt like my deposit was being held hostage during my stay and that if I did anything to irk the management I wouldn't get it back. You also are charged a cleaning fee on top of your total amount. While there are some good things about the beach bungalows, I don't think I'd stay here again because of the problems I had in reserving my room and the cleanliness in some of the rooms. Unfortunately the bungalows were definitely a bungled low in our trip to Hawaii.

We can't say enough about this beautiful paradise! We happened to visit during one of the rainiest weeks in roughly 20 years. Flash flood warnings every day and little time to adventure too far. So- having this little slice of heaven on the beach made our vacation a success! The view and ambiance simply to-die-for! The accommodations pristine and the management so kind! If you have the opportunity to spend any amount of time here, you will truly create a memory that will last a lifetime.

I have stayed at a lot of 4 and 5 resorts and I will tell you this is one of those dream spots you don't want to tell anyone about but you have to because it's just that good. We spent a week over thanksgiving in the Hibiscus 2 bedroom beach cottage on the north shore and it was amazing. The beach is out your back door and perfect every day. There is a open deck area and teak table and chairs for each property as well as 2 sun / lay out chairs. There is a outside shower for the sand as well as hammocks in the palm trees on the beach. The unit is designed well and has 2 separate bedrooms and one bath. Bedroom one faces the ocean. The second is toward the front of the house. The beds are queens and very comfortable. Linens were crisp and clean. No maid service for the unit and that's fine. Your on the north shore anyway. Rest. Beach. Eat. Repeat. The bathroom is spacious and has a typhoon flow of water in the shower. Loved it. The entire unit is impeccable and clean. The kitchen has a oven and range, refrigerator and freezer. There is a toaster and blender and microwave. Fully stocked kitchen utensils and plates, cups and spoons. Foodland grocery store is a block away as well as fresh fruit stands and the legendary north shore food trucks. The grounds are made up of numerous bungalows and extremely well kept. There is coin operated washer and dryer for the unit for towels and your clothes. The property is gates which is nice and reassuring when you really want to leave every door and window open in the first place. It is very tranquil and was sold out the week we were there yet we barely knew anyone was on site which I loved. The property owner / manager is Greg who was a very nice and helpful person to myself and our family. Not one negative to say. I will make you aware 1. No air conditioning yet every room has ceiling fans and floor fans. We never had one issue with temperature. It was perfect yet we were there in November so maybe a little humid during summer. 2. The beach is my favorite but you should know it has 3' surf one day and 25' the next. If you have little ones, they will not be safe to play in this every day. Some days but when the season for big waves come. There huge. But a tip is it is still 200% nicer then anywhere in Waikiki and on big wave days , go to Ko Olina and snorkel in flat coves and the kids can play safely. Problem solved. 3. Last but not least ... You won't want to come home. You will want to never leave. You will spend most of your time calculating how to live there.

Beachfront bungalows. Hibiscus on the left and Bird of Paradise on the right. Having stayed in both, I prefer the Hibiscus.

We always enjoy our stay at Ke Iki Beach Bungalows. This property is at the end of the beach near the rocks of Ke Iki beach. Although beaches in Hawaii are open to the general public, it is one of the least crowded beaches on the north shore, in my opinion. As a guest to the resort, there is a outside shower and of course, your rooms are on the beach. So of the garden suites are on the interior of the property so there is not "ocean view" per se. But only steps away from the beach. Do not expect a Four Seasons resort. These are more like motels with full kitchens. They are adequate. No room service, towel change or anything like that. No AC either. But the kitchens have dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc. We always bring food to make our meals so we rarely leave the property. There is a Foodland market a mile or less away so you can pickup things you need (Coffee Bean and Tea is also here ). This place is more just about relaxing on the beach, watching the waves and enjoying peace and serenity. I would have given 5 stars but we did have something odd happen on our stay. Someone from the beach came to our unit and asked us if he could use the bathroom. With the popularity of the beach, you have more people coming and going, so I hope this won't become a problem of security on property. There is a security camera, but I would highly recommend you always lock your doors when you are not in sight.

At sunset, everyone gathers near the beach / deck to watch the sun go down. Great location near several beaches, groceries, the bus and snorkelling. Good value for the money.

PERFECT VACATION RENTAL - on the windward/leeward interface, beautiful picturesque not-too-crowded beach is nice for swimming. Rooms are great, tastefully decorated, clean and appointed. GORGEOUS LANDSCAPING!!! Friendly and helpful manager. Full kitchen and nearby Foodland and Coffee Bean and Tea within 1/2 mile. Halfway between Haleiwa and Kahuku makes all available things nearby. Skip Turtle Bay and other resorts --- this is a much better experience! This is as close as it comes to paradise. Come, enjoy, inhale, chill, de stress and have some active fun!
