Having the time of our lives here at Kuilima Estates for the weekend with our extended Ohana! The condo we rented is just right for the 7 of us. Cozy 3 bedroom 3 baths, cool Lani overlooking the Turtle Bay golf course and our awesome Hawaii weather! Who could ask for more! Sharing awesome memories and making new ones at the place we call home!

We got engaged here and have returned multiple times over the years, making countless memories. As a loyal Marriott member, I always looked forward to coming back. Unfortunately, this most recent stay left us feeling like the resort has lost the charm and hospitality that once made it so special. For the price guests pay to stay here, the experience simply does not match the cost. What stood out most was the apparent difference in how guests are treated compared to locals utilizing the pool and resort amenities. As paying resort guests, we often felt like an afterthought rather than valued customers. The pool and food service experience was particularly disappointing. The wait staff consistently came across as rude, rushed, and uninterested in providing the level of service you would expect from a luxury resort. While I don't place all the blame on the employees themselves, they appeared overworked, understaffed, and unsupported by management. When employees are not set up for success, it inevitably impacts the guest experience--and unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. Another odd aspect of the property is the collection of independent shops operating within the resort. Multiple times we were reminded that they were not affiliated with the hotel, which created a fragmented and somewhat uncomfortable experience. Rather than feeling like part of a cohesive luxury resort, it often felt like a collection of separate businesses sharing the same property. What makes this so disappointing is knowing what Turtle Bay used to be. It once had a unique, relaxed Hawaiian charm that made it worth returning to year after year. Today, it feels more like a tourist-focused revenue machine than the welcoming destination we remembered. For a resort carrying the Ritz-Carlton name and commanding premium prices, we expected much more. Sadly, after this visit, we don't feel any desire to return. It's unfortunate to say, but the memories we have from previous visits are far better than the experience we had this time around. I truly hope management takes a hard look at the guest experience and works to bring back the hospitality and character that made Turtle Bay such a special place in the first place.

We didnt even get to stay here because the owners are back and fourth on policy's Booked in for Dec 2020 during covid. My family contracted Covid days away from trip. We were definitely well within the Covid guidelines of a return policy, but they wouldn't give one so we agreed to just using the credit at a later. After that they more than able to cancel it and tried to reschedule us for the spring . Their availability went away every time. Every few months we would attempt to make a booking, but they were always full. (interesting right ?) Next thing you know two years plus go by. Now she says she's unable to give us any compensation or credit because we're past the two years. It's not our fault they did not have availability. Don't book your stay here. The owners have every intention to get money out of you and lack any type of customer service. Worst customer service and just the worst selfish people. The owners are very kind and attentive. They let us borrow some of their boogie boards and beach chairs when we spent a day at Hukilau beach. It was amazing waking up to the sun rise every day. The beach was great for our kids (not too rough, not too deep). We love the north shore area of Oahu and will always stay here when we visit.

Despite Mother Nature's blessings, our family had an uneventful, yet relaxing time telling stories, playing cards, backgammon, and eating like there's no tomorrow; serious grazing. There's something to be said for having nothing to do. The rain slowed things down and forced us to just be, instead of doing so much. Exactly what a vacation should be. Now only if we could get the kids on board with that. This is the second time our family has rented this property. The main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one tub and one shower. The living room area is nice sized, however the kitchen is a bit small but totally workable. The dinning room table doubles as a poker table. Full size washer and dryer available and with its own access via the outside deck. Totally separate is a two-story dwelling that houses two apartments that each sleeps four with its own bathroom/shower facilities and kitchenettes. The beach is typically beautiful with Goat Island in the distance. Lovely swimming holes immediatley out front, however this all looked stormy and fierce during our most recent stay. Nice place to surf and paddle board when the conditions are right. The deck and landscaping are charming additions making you feel at home, allowing you to sink in like you own the place. My friend had spotted this place when she lived in the north shore and recommended it to us. First off, we made our reservations about 3 months in advance and ended up paying $550 for 1 week!! Our individual room was a bunk bed with a double bed on the lower part, which we used and had 2 dressers and AC. Small room, but i am in Hawaii and all i want to do anyway is be outside! We stayed in 302 which was in the sunset suite and there was 2 other rooms that shared the kitchen, bathroom and living room area. Everyone we met in the suite were really fun to get to know and the place had free wifi, cable and an outdoor washer/dryer. It is in Pupukea and 1 block away from foodland, across the street from sharks cove, where you can snorkel with fish and close to a lot of good beaches in the area. There is a picnic table outside which everyone shares and at night we would all get drinks and get acquainted with one another!
