Refreshing nice new Halal shop with plenty of room for sitting or fast easy take out. Nice open serving area to choose what you want for your dishes. Friendly and well staffed this is a brand new but third location so far. Grand opening in a day or two but a soft opening two days ago. Brought two bowls home and both a hit.

I was craving for some beef koobideh and I knew this place close by that has it. Translation of koobideh means to pound and the beef is what's being pounded to ground meat (I was gonna say pounded meat buuuuut...*smirk). I made my way over to the kebab express Halal spot and walking in and at first impression I got chipotle vibes;got to the counter and was looking at the menu. I knew what I wanted, but the worker clarified how to order. Of course, I asked for the beef koobideh but they didn't have any. I went with the chicken, but I had to have another protein so I had the chapli kebab. For those who don't know what that is, chapli means slipper. The kebab is shaped flat and long like a slipper and deep fried on a shallow fry pan so it's immersed in oil just enough that the surface is fried. It's supposed to be pretty amazing and I've had my fair share of authentic chapli kebabs. Theirs was more of a large beef patty, tightly packed, deep fried and at first bite , too salty. If it wasn't for the fresh vegetables to even out the taste I would have taken one star off. To the owner , if you are reading this , don't salt your kebabs, it will turn the beef patty hard like a hockey puck and pretty much inedible. Better off loosely packing it seasoned with everything BUT salt and lightly salt the surface the moment you take it out of the fryer. Besides that, the other chicken choices seemed pretty reasonable when I saw it but I haven't tasted it. Overall they have a good chipotle-like business model, pretty much all the veggies are fresh and this is a place I wouldn't mind visiting again. And they might earn their 5th star if my second round turns out to be better than their first impression. It's a good spot, just go for the chicken and koobideh... but if they salted their koobideh like they salted their chapli kebab then... you figure it out.

Fantastic food & really nice people. I wonder sometimes if the world deserves a restaurant as good as this. My determination - possible.

Food was great and they were really nice! Definitely a better option than the Chipotle next door.

Not terribly tasty. Was very much looking forward to a nicely cooked felafel. The sauce was bland. Was very disappointed .

I ordered lamb platter with white rice, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and that divine white sauce spread all over the top. The lamb was cut into small cubes and they were tasty! It came with two small plastic containers of red hot sauce and two containers of an earthy green sauce. I didn't try the green sauce; the hut sauce was zesty & complemented the meal well. Ambiance was nothing to write back home to mom about. It was a clean space, it was kind of sterile. Good thing I don't eat ambiance. So with that, the food was very good & it hit the proverbial spot! The chicken/lamb combo over rice was a standout! Perfectly seasoned with a generous drizzle of their creamy white sauce. I decided to add french fries because I was really hungry but in retrospect, that might have been a little overboard. The gyro was also bomb. Smother it in white sauce and hot sauce for a perfect blend of flavors. My only gripe is that some of the chicken had ligaments in it. I'm not really a fan of chewing on those things but it was just a few and overall the food was great!

Unfortunately, our experience took a very upsetting turn when we found what appeared to be a bug in the food. We contacted the restaurant to explain what we found and hoped they would handle the situation professionally. Instead, the conversation quickly became hostile. After some back and forth the owner ultimately became very aggressive and said "if you want me to deal with this issue personally you can come in person and we can handle it like men" to my older brother which felt threatening. We left the interaction feeling disrespected, intimidated, and completely disgusted with how our concerns were handled. We were unable to reach a resolution or receive a refund despite raising what we believed was a serious food safety issue. Finding a literal insect in a meal is concerning enough, but what made this experience especially disappointing was the way we were treated afterward. From one Muslim person to another- that man had no kindness in his heart. I truly hope the restaurant shuts down or that man ends up on the street bc he's not taking food safety concerns seriously.

When we sat down it was kind of annoying because the sun was in our eyes from the window. They offered to move our seats, but the other table also was in the sunlight. We ordered a chicken kebab as an appetizer and got the mix grilled plate as an entree and goat Karahi. The mix grill plate was huge and came with like 5 different types of meat dishes cooked various ways of chicken and lamb. My favorite thing from the grill platter was the green chicken and the red chicken. It comes with tomatoes, and red onions as well. The goat karahi was good too the sauce was very flavorful and went well with the garlic nann. We also got a mango lassi, we found out half way through our meal that they forgot it and when we got our bill they charged us for 2 so they gave us a cash refund. Overall it was a nice place lots of families were there with their kids.
