This is a long overdue review. This is our go-to place for mediterranean food. I've come here on multiple occasions and the food is delicious. Main courses aside, their sides, like the pickled vegetables and garlic sauce, are really tasty. I brought my mother and mother-in-law here for a quick lunch one day and they were also really happy with their meals. I mostly get the falafel plate. You can ask for half salad, half rice if you want. The owners/staff are also very accommodating and friendly. They seem to have a fair amount of patrons here at lunchtime which is good. The food is excellent. I got the chicken kebab plate and extra order of grilled veggies which came with grilled zucchini , grilled pepper, large onions and 2 tomatoes. Lightly seasoned to perfection. A small hole in the wall style restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating as well as take-out. We have eaten here at least a half-dozen times and really enjoy the food. Our primary favorite is the beef kafta plate. I have used the online ordering system at their website link for later pickup and it worked smoothly. having been in the restaurant business before, I know how much time, effort, and money goes into running even a small place like this one. My respect goes out the lovely family who owns and operates this place. I do have a couple of suggestions that would make this place the best ME place in the area. Kibbeh = A++++ (hot, crunchy, juicy, and super flavorful) Hummus = A (needs more lemon but very good!) Felafel sandwich = B (could be A+ with two minor changes) The felafel sandwich was a nice size and she even grilled it before wrapping it up for me. I ALWAYS try the felafel first in any ME place because it's kind of a tell for the rest of the food. The felafel balls in my sandwich weren't crunchy at all. I grew up eating ME food and I can tell you it is crucial they are piping hot and crunchy. Also, the tahini sauce didn't have that unique intense flavor of tahini, lemon, garlic, etc. Another must for perfect felafel. This seems like it would be an easy fix for the owners! I haven't had an A+ felafel sandwich in at least six years. I hope my next one is at Kebab G! read more

It was my job to order food for the group tonight and it was a tall order, a pregnant woman, a 3 year old and a first timer.. can I just say how much joy I felt when everyone mmmmed and awed at every bite! This time I picked up an order of Ashta. I've never had it before, so when I was offered a second cup of syrup to pour over it, I politely declined, but was glad the offer was made. Turns out, it may have been too sweet if I got that second cup; one was perfect for me. Just enough sweetness, not too much. Still made for a decadent desert.
