After so many years enjoying very good food at Kee Grille in Juno Beach, we had a very bad experience with the "special" grouper in scampi sauce and crab meat. The fish didn't taste good (both mine and my wife's) and left a horrible after taste that I still taste it over an hour later. We let the waiter know we didn't enjoy it and parts of the fish was not edible! She said "sorry about that" and didn't inform the manager. We didn't expect the " after taste" lingering. I went to the Ke'e grill with a group of co-workers based on the recommendation of a client on a recent trip to South Florida. At the table we had crab-cakes, the grlled shrimp, the filet and a variety of sides. Pros: - Nice atmosphere. The place felt like a "classy" place for a date or nice dinner. - The wine we ordered (a Coppola Claret) was good, if overpriced (I know I overed it here in Texas for ~$30 it was closer to $50 here) - The spinach casserole was decent. - The grilled shrimp appetizer came out in a cool looking medallion shape Cons: - The food. Everything was nearly flavorless. In addition to the shrimp appetizer, I had green beans, spinach casserole and a filet, all of which tasted of nothing. The waiter offered steak sauce when the food came out (bad sign). I wish I would have taken him up on it. - The service. Did I mention he offered us steak sauce? - The prices. Outback would have been better and 1/3 the price. - The crowd. We had to sit in the bar because we had not made a reservation at 8PM on a Tuesday. Overall: If this place was in Houston it'd be out of business. Clearly this place is popular with the blue hair set based on the lack of tables when we got there, but I do not understand why. I'd skip it in favor of the nearby season's 52. The prices are in the same ballpark but Season's is on the waterfront, has a nicer atmosphere and much better food. read more

This place is really excellent. As Joe S. points out, this restraunt is a hot spot for the older crowd. The food is EXCELLENT. I highly recommend the cajun spring rolls as an appetizer and the chillean sea bass as an entree. Have a bottle of the Argyle Nuthouse Pinot Noir for dessert, you'll be happy you tried it. read more

Seafood is king at Ke'e (pronounced "kay") Grill; the grouper dishes are excellent, locally-sourced options on the menu, so I usually gravitate toward that. Mark is a terrific server; after our first visit, we requested him for our second dinner here with friends. He's pretty much the definition of "class act." He somewhat makes up for the general snobbishness displayed by the high school and college age girls working the reception area. This is but one example of a surprisingly good restaurant found in an unlikely strip mall setting. This is a phenomenon that proliferates this region. It seems the greatest options available in this neck of the woods are either in strip malls, or al fresco spots, right on the water. And while in a perfect world, every place would be located on the water, al fresco....it's not a perfect world. Sometimes, it rains. Sometimes, you need a strip mall. Depressing as the prospect of a restaurant in a strip mall sounds, the interior takes you into another world entirely. The style of the restaurant is very "Americana cabana": an upscale take on that typical southern Florida, Tommy Bahama aesthetic. A breezy maxi dress is de rigueur, ladies. The crowd - which is quite formidable in season (November through April) - definitely skews toward the AARP set. But then again, so do most places in this part of the country, so it's no great surprise and it doesn't bother me. I don't hate feeling like the spring chicken in the bunch now and again (especially since this is occurring with less and less frequency, these days). Some of these patrons probably partied at Studio 54 back in their day, which makes them cooler than all of us young'uns put together. read more

We had a wonderful dinner here last night. Since the SNOWBIRD'S are still gone, there were empty tables, but I had made reservations for us. We started with a bottle of wine and an appetizer which included some spring rolls and spicy grilled shrimp, delicious. The warm bread hit the spot. We each had a different fish dish, all were excellent. We had the sweet potato encrusted red snapper, the macadamia nut encrusted red snapper and the grilled grouper with lump crab......SPECTACULAR. The creamed spinach is to die for and we finished off the evening with a delicious chocolate tort with ice cream and salted Carmel sauce. Our server Barbara was exceptional. She was attentive and took good care of us! I have been there often, this was their first time, but, they will be back. read more

For our trip to Florida, and being from Colorado, we were hell-bound to eat as much seafood as we could get our hands on. This charming grill was cute, expensive, but tasty. I wasn't blown away, but I was very happy with my food. I would say that if there's a Hawaiian/Polynesian background, that needs to stand out in the food more. Dinner was fabulous. Our server Rachel was top notch. Every recommendation turned out great. The appetizer sampler was amazing. All of our entrees were delicious, from the grouper and salmon to the veal chop and the sea bass. Her recommended choice of the oriental chilean sea bass was outstanding, the best of all of the entrees. Get the spinach maria - exceptional. And the desserts, especially the apple crisp, finished off a delightful meal. Thanks to Rachel for providing excellent service. She was terrific. The hostess staff and manager were stiff and seemed interested only in fawning over the regulars. They need to loosen up and warmly welcome anyone who is wiiling to pay these prices. Due to their attitude, I cannot give Ke'e Grill five stars. Replacing them would make this place perfect. read more

High quality service coupled with great food = wonderful dining experience. Of particular note, the crab cakes are perfectly prepared with an appropriate balance of crab meat and breading. First time here. Rated as #1 in Juno Beach - my fiancé's bday called for the occasion. Made reservations.. Which I didn't think will be necessary being a Monday night. (Boy, I'm glad I did! Packed house ) Ericka our server was very patient with us as weren't even sure about what drink we wanted to order. Mojitos was delicious - crown and ginger done right. For appetizer we order the mixed appetizer ! Great pick! My fiancé ordered the special salmon / with spinach Maria - a must and sweet potato mash. It was delicious!!! I had the Keè Grill Chioppino! The sauce and all the seafood was perfectly paired! Dessert we had the apple crisp! No complaints and extremely satisfied with our food, service and overall experience ! We eat at KEE Grill a couple times a year. (We would go more often if the prices were more affordable) Every visit has resulted in an excellent dining experience. The food is very fresh and well prepared. Last night I ordered the Chioppino (my favorite KEE Grill dish) and as always it was as good as you can find anywhere. My wife had the grouper special which was prepared with bread crumbs and gruyere cheese... It was a large filet and probably the best Grouper dish I have ever tried. It was a great meal and we will return. 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, 4 drinks, 1 desert, 1 coffee - about $150.00 before tip. There are plenty of places in the Palm Beach area with meals in this price range but few that please every time and have such well prepared seafood. Great decor too! I moved to Jupiter about 1 year ago and I don't know why it took me so long to go Kee Grille. I guess one of the reasons was that I heard this was the same owner as the restaurant Bimini Twist, In West Palm Beach, which I was NOT a fan of (Bimini Twist: fish was not fresh and everything had about 1lb of salt on it). So I was a little hesitant to try Kee Grille. Once I got to Kee Grille, I was shocked that the food was excellent! I later found out it's owner is different from the owner of Bimini Twist now. I got a lemon drop martini at the bar :) And once we were seated, my fiance and I shared the crab cake appetizer, I got the snapper with lobster on top and he got the lamb chops. Everything was delicious. The crab cake was all crab meat, and the entrees were cooked perfectly. The restaurant was a little pricey, so we go back for a special occasion, but I recommend trying out this restaurant. read more

My father and I have been eating at this restaurant for years and it's ALWAYS a hit. Definitely one of the best restaurants South Florida has to offer. The service and management is top notch. Everyone is extremely friendly and courteous. The decor is super fun and beachy in a classy way. You feel like you're on vacation. The food is excellent. I've eaten pretty much everything on the menu and I've never had a bad meal here. The Key Lime Martini is the best thing made since sliced bread. I'm obsessed. The last time I ate here I had Mahi fish and it was not great , kind of fishy, should have sent it back but didn't, not sure why? My mother in law had a steak, which was mediocre and overcooked. On June 7, 2020, My husband and I took my mother, and her caregiver, to this restaurant to celebrate her 95th birthday. We have always gone to this restaurant to celebrate special occasions. Therefore we were very happy it was open obviously with limited seating. That of course did not bother us as we had a reservation. The restaurant tables are very well spaced out so no fear of COVID-19 contamination.I brought two champagne glasses that I had had made for her with the number 95 on them. When we arrived, I let the hostess know of my mothers birthday. We were seated in a lovely booth, and very quickly the waiter, Paul, came over.The first thing he said was good evening and happy birthday. My mother was thrilled. Paul wore a mask as did all of the other serving attendants. He took our champagne glasses in the back and chilled them . He then re-delivered them to the table complete with sliced strawberries inside to add to our champagne. Our meal was Uber delicious! I had Chilean Seabass with lump crabmeat on top along with a freshly baked sweet potato and their infamous spinach Maria which is a divine Creamed spinach in its own little crock. I did order off the main menu because that was the dish that I wanted . However, right now they have a summer menu where approximately eight delicious entrées are half price. There is no decrease in the portion size And they come with two sides just like the regular menu and A salad. My husband, my mom, and her caregiver all ordered off that menu and were very very happy. Everyone took leftovers home which by the way were delicious the next night! I generally don't write restaurant reviews but felt I needed to especially give a shout out to Paul, our incredible waiter. It was really he who made the evening such a success. He attended to our every need and was already ahead of us when we were in need of something. When the main meal was over he arrived at the table with a beautiful Apple pie à la mode in its own little dish complete with a lit candle. We all sang happy birthday to my mother and she blew out the candle and wished for who knows what?! There was a plexi glass partition between our booth and the one next to us. Therefore I felt safe the entire evening. Going to Ke'e was the first time my husband and I had gone inside to a restaurant since everything has shut down. We of course were apprehensive but felt very much at ease by the time we were seated in our meal was underway. The food for all of us was fabulous. My husband had a pork chop which he said was great, my mom had their famous crabcakes, also great and her caregiver had crabcakes as well. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. They have three seatings now: 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 9:00 PM so there will not be too many people in the restaurant. I highly encourage you to try this restaurant if you haven't before. It is a must if you live in the area or even want to drive a short way to get there. Hope you enjoy as much as we all did and again thank you Paul. We went here last week with a party of five, and everyone's meal was incredibly mediocre. Overcooked and dry shrimp, chicken, steak, and salmon. My green beans were overcooked and mushy, my friend's mushrooms were undercooked and we both left 95% of them on the plate because they were inedible. My husband ordered salmon with a baked potato, and it literally was just a bare slab of salmon and a naked, whole baked potato rolling around on the plate. What is this, a cafeteria?? For these prices, there should be MUCH better preparation and presentation!! I did not say anything to the waiter at the time because it was a sensitive situation with who we were in the restaurant with, and I didn't want to disrupt the meal. Unfortunately, I have to go back tonight and I don't know what to order that won't be like retiree cafeteria food!! read more

We didn't have reservations when we arrived here, but we got accommodated right away. We sat at a nice table near the bar. The service was very nice and attentive. I loved their Green Olive garnish on my Bloody Mary drink. Instead of the usual inserted piece of cubed tomato, they placed Blue Cheese instead. It was unbelievably better, and it highlighted the drink really well. They also served us a fabulous Cioppino dish. Great food. Lots of seafood in a bowl. I have been to this restaurant on previous occasions and absolutely loved it. On Tues. June 27th I was there with a group of ladies for a birthday. Our waitress was pleasant. but very forgetful. We arrived at 5:00 and did not leave until after 8:00. The manager was called over and told we had to wait for rolls, drinks , food over cooked. He was not very pleasant. Ahhh, Ke'e Grill, you've lost your mojo. This has been our go-to place for a nice meal for many years. But, those many years of success have caught up with this place. Worst is the staff. Hostesses devoid of ANY personality going through robotic motions. Smiles are scarce with the single exception of the food runner. The waiter so bored and disinterested and faintly insulting, admonishing a 92 year old for not remembering how the menu worked. Not humorous. Then later, throwing down a to go box on the table and walking away without a word. Time for you, sir, to move on. The food is still good, steak tender and flavorful and the spinach a reliable staple. The Cesar salad is very bland, boring actually. Sadly the food isn't as spectacular as it once was. Maybe my husband's and my mistake was that we ordered beef. I paid similar to what we would have paid going to a true steakhouse for a filet and it was very dried out. I guess I should have known when the waiter recommended I get hollandaise sauce, a good filet, cooked to perfection, never needs enhancements. My husband had a ribeye (again, premium price) that was mediocre at best. I think the saddest part was, we've been going to the Ke'e Grill for many, many years and a favorite is the spinach maria. Not last night. It was a glob of sticky spinach in a bowl. Very, very sorry we chose Ke'e Grill as the place to celebrate our good friends' 40th anniversary. Such a special occasion and the meal was sadly lacking. We even asked the waiter if they do any sort of special dessert for special occasions? The answer was no. Very disappointed. The meal itself was fine. The waiter, Paolo, should consider whether he really belongs in the food service business. He was curt, unfriendly, less than attentive and generally a grump. The billing situation was also disappointing. The initial check was just the waiter's handwritten order and an adding machine tape - just numbers. We had no way of auditing the correctness without making a scene so we just provided our credit cards for the proportional share. The bill seemed high so he may have even added in the gratuity. We have been huge fans of Kee Grill since discovering it around 2004. Classy clientele and Friendly atmosphere. Outstanding service. Reservations are recommended but we have gone on a whim and been seated. We like to go early and enjoy a cocktail at the bar which overlooks a garden with tiki torches. The food is forever consistently delicious. I especially love the Chilean Sea Bass and my husband enjoys their steak. Both our adult children love coming here as well. We always recommend Kee to friends who travel to the area. This past year my husband's best friend visited twice during a one week's stay in the area. They were so impressed they just had to come back again before returning home. I love the tasteful Hawaiian decor with beautiful large windows and a soft color palette. The chef definitely knows how to prepare seafood and fish. Their steaks are delicious as well. It is hard to find food prepared so beautifully without over seasoning or relying on too many sauces. Kee definitely knows how to take a dish and make it a knock out with absolute perfection in its preparation and presentation. This is a definite not miss on your list of places to dine. read more

I brought fresh fish caught the same day, They Panko fried the Wahoo and it was over cooked and tough I gave it back The Fresh Black Tuna seared was OK and the Strawberry Grouper with Crab was great. Captain Charlies Reef grill never ruined Wahoo in 7 years!! The waitress was rude, brisk, and totally unprofessional and NOT GOOD The replacement waiter was FANTASTIC...Mark Willis was totally professional and apologized he was attentive and excellent. This is the most pretentious restaurant I have ever been in. You can make reservations but that does not mean you won't be waiting (a lot). The decor needs serious upgrading (sagging booths - bring a buster seat if you are short like me!). The place is always packed (with the old local folks) so management does not care if you have a good experience or not. I went there twice on the same week (before Thanksgiving) because I was meeting friends and they picked the place. Both times we had reservations and specifically asked for a table, both times we were denied a table because "management cannot guarantee a table". The first time we set on the sagging booth and had a hard time getting comfortable . The second time we were giving an even worse booth. There was six of us and they gave a booth fit for four people. We asked the manager if was possible to give us a table or a bigger booth and he told us that he could not and we would be fine at that booth, "very cozy" were his words. The food is decent but overpriced. You can get better food around for a better price and better service. Our waiter (Tom) was very dismissive and at times rude. When setting up our table instead of placing the utensils he just toss it closer to the person seating there. He was very concern about his tip and getting us out of there as soon as possible. He came to our table to take our order and would not give us time to choose. The atmosphere was probably good once upon a time but now is just a glorified nursing home. The average age is 80 - deceased. I would not recommend the place to anyone! If you are under the age of 50, definitely not your scene. read more

Our fish was only so-so because it was not fresh. The yellow tail was all sauced up and my wife's grouper was not cooked/grilled enough. The mushroom side tasted like it came out of a can (small mushrooms all the same size and real salty). The sweet potatoes were way too sweet. The Spinach Maria was the only thing I liked about the meal. Service was OK but we were surrounded by really old people who complained continually about everything. NOT a good dining experience.
