This place is outstanding ! It has quickly become my 2nd favorite breakfast place in the SRQ / Bradenton area and is almost neck n neck with Toasted Mango (if only Keke's offered a crab & shrimp omelette). The 2 things that make Keke's so great are their willingness to make anything on the menu to your liking and how everything always comes out hot. Today I had a craving for a banana and chocolate chip waffle which isn't on the menu. The cheerful waitress explained that I could get the waffle with anything they had in the kitchen. The waffle was soft (never over done) with a huge ring of whipped cream around the border and what appeared to be a whole sliced banana across the top. I've had a number of things here and have been extremely happy with everything except the tuna melt. I mentioned this to the waitress and she explained that their tuna melt is made dry which explained it. Give Keke's a try. I am sure you will Love it. read more

Amazing service and food during these Covid challenging times. There was a bit of a wait; however, I expected it because it was a Sunday morning. My server Rhianna was amazing, a breathe of fresh air. Even though it was busy and things were a little slow she was welcoming with a smile. The stuffed blueberry French toast was delicious. Management needs to get on the employees for job performance. Kitchen seems to mess up orders frequently and staff is very forgetful. Portions are on the small side for a cafe and scrambled eggs are always unseasoned or lacking if any. My biggest pet peeve is when your order comes with toast, it is not coming from the kitchen staff... rather it's your server with their grimy hands having touched anything and everything without washing them and then grab your sliced bread and run it through a toaster machine and then grab it again with their cross contaminated hands. USE gloves at the very least or tongs! DON'T touch someone's food if you are not kitchen staff who is properly trained and wearing gloves. That's how you get someone sick! read more

The staff is rude. They don't prioritize orders they get wrong to new orders. I had to stand at the take out podium, looking at my food boxes up and ready to go but they had to find the waitress who took the order to ring me out. 3 people came and picked up their food before they found my waitress (where did she go??) 30 minutes later we had our cold food, no discount, no apologies and no returned business for us. This was my first time here and found it to be average. I ordered a combo with pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage links. I realized that I should have ordered one pancake instead of two, as they were the size of manhole covers, but what they lacked was taste. My recent visit was a great experience. I've been to this place at least 3-4 times. Every visit is great. My go to breakfast meal is the 5 egg whites with 4 slices of turkey bacon with 2 slices of wheat bread. Added some home fries today, which felt more like a complete breakfast. When I first sat down, I go for two cups of coffee and a glass of water. Coffee was good and the water refreshing. Waitress was friendly and delivered excellent service, as others before her in previous visits. Would recommend this place to all my friends and family. Will be back again. read more

There is always a wait at this place no matter which location you go to. However they said 20 minutes today and we were able to get in under 10 minutes. The service was excellent, manager stopped by the table to check on things, and the food was awesome. The portions are very big so often you will have something to go home with. Party of four. I can only imagine this was post COVID help. Our waitress took our orders and then fifteen minutes later brought us our check. We asked if we might be served our meal first. She mumbled something and walked away. Five minutes she said it would be out soon. Another five minutes she brought ought three omelet orders and a french toast order. The french toast order was fine but the three omelet orders had a luke warm omelet and cold fried potatoes and cold buttered toast. One of the omlets was the wrong type. We told the waitress our orders were cold and one was wrong . She mumbled something and walked away. A while later she came back with three small plates of hot fried potatoes. She mumbled something and walked away. Another while later she came back with a complete new omelet order to replace the one that was wrong. There was no room on the table so she handed to one of us and walked away not bothering to pick up the incorrect order. We managed to make room ourselves. The manager came by asking how things were and we told him. He came back with bills knocking $7 off a $35 order. A little while later the waitress came buy with similar bills with different ticket numbers. She mumbled something and walked away. We paid in cash and left. My second visit here and it was ok! It took 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. Three of the four plates ordered were cold. The sausage links were cooked just enough to appear brown. The eggs were runny and the home fries had no flavor. Sunday like anywhere else is probably always crowded like most breakfast places. The food was great. The owners and staff are very friendly. The restaurant inside is pretty big. We had a party of 6 that came right from the gym next store and were seated by the window in a booth that held us all comfortably. Two of us in the group, me being one, are VERY PICKY eaters and the waitress didn't even blink an eye when I order just beef on a plate with un seasoned sweet potatoes, while picky #2 wanted plain, unseasoned, well done chicken on salad with nothing.
