The best I can say is we have always been seated quickly...we have tried give this place a few chances...but every time the service is TERRIBLE, food takes forever to come out of the kitchen, when it does...it's not really worth the wait or the price. This time, we had to get the manager to find out where our food was (after 30 mins of waiting)... he went right to the kitchen and brought it out... Thankfully, they did not charge extra for the hair found at the bottom of my french fries (full disclosure - they offered to remake or bring me something else... uh... no thanks... i've already spent most of the afternoon here... however, the manager did comp our meals after that last one). Menu options were nice. After 10:30 am you can order lunch or breakfast. Breakfast with my wife on a Saturday morning. We were greeted warmly into a spacious, well-lit space comprised of mostly of booths. Drink orders quickly taken by Brooke-very friendly server. My wife had a waffle with apples. Very moist and delicious. I ordered 2 pancakes which were huge! But sooo good. My only complaint is that the menu offers no grits, biscuits or gravy. Yesterday, I discovered a gem ! (Keke's on Cortez) Keke's is great on many levels! Efficient,friendly,a menu that caters to many, coffee was excellent and plentiful! The food was hot and well presented! My server Allen provided me with everything I asked for including a warm smile. I had the Greek omelet OMG! It was DELICIOUS ! Plenty of Feta too - that's a plus! The home fries were the best I've had in decades! I finally found a place that makes them " to die for", just like my mom used to make! Kudos for Keke's !! Stopped off for a quick Sunday breakfast in this strip mall cafe. Staff was very welcoming and courteous. The hostess sat us at a table that was right in the sunlight. The manager came by and noticed we were struggling with the strong Florida sun. He made a few jokes about it and let us pick another table. Food was great. I added chicken to my southwest omelet (at the recommendation of the waitress). Great ideal. Matched it with some special sauce they use and it was a ideal breakfast which left us full. I'm always looking around for the best food and service in town. This is by far the most excellent breakfast place I've ever been too. I was greeted by a enthusiastic and kind hostess named Tiffany. When I was seated I had the pleasure of being served by Alicia. She suggested the Florida waffle and it was absolutely delicious. We were told 30 minute wait for breakfast got here at 10:04 & watched take out order after take out order sent out with a room full of people in the waiting area & empty seats in the dining. Apparently their kitchen was backed up & we ended up waiting until 10:59 before we asked how much longer and they said another 20 minutes. It's not the backed up kitchen that annoys me it's the fact that they didn't have the decency to explain the situation to anyone waiting inside and we are now forced to eat what we can find before we have to be somewhere at 11:30... customer services is shitty nowadays to say the least zero stars!!!! read more

Unbelievable service and food! We had five in our party. All dishes came out hot and very yummy!

Took my six year old on a breakfast date here and had a great experience. John was our server and was really lovely to both of us. I had the banana pecan waffle with home potatoes and bacon. All three components were delicious. I wasn't able to finish my serving so the value was good. My son enjoyed the silver dollar pancakes and also had the bacon and destroyed the garnish of big orange slices. We had such a lovely time and we would definitely return. read more

The food was good but my overall experience was not great. I had to wait outside while there was numerous open tables because apparently the kitchen was having trouble keeping up. So countless people waited outside and more then half left. I was told 10-20 minutes wait...it was 45 minutes at least. After 25 minutes my party and I were too hungry and tired to go to another breakfast place. The waiter Andy was great. Very pleasant and made sure to get our order quickly after our wait and check on us frequently to keep everyone happy. I normally would not write a review but this was the 2nd time in less then a week. Then I heard one of the waitress at a table near me complaining loudly about the kitchen being so behind due to mobile orders. I called to talk to the manager but they were not available to speak to. So we were in the area and decided to give this place another try. We were there fairly early on a weekday. The place was not full and only a handful of tables had people sitting in them. Ten minutes later the server had not come to take our order yet. I got the attention of the hostess that was walking by and I told her that we were ready to order. A very nice man that was running plates all over the restaurant told me that he would give the server our order. He placed our order and brought out the food. He was very polite and professional. The eggs were cold, over-cooked, and dry, the potatoes were cold and soggy again, but the hot cake was fluffy and hot. I think they must cook all of the potatoes ahead of time and leave them in a cold steamer, too bad. We didn't see our waitress until she brought the check and asked if we needed anything else at the end of the meal. Maybe this was an off day for them. The prices are a little high for the service and quality of food. I wish they paid closer attention to service and quality this could be a great place. read more
