I've never had a wine-based vodka before. I also ordered French toast and a side of bacon; it's been a while. My waitress was amazing and continued to ensure I had everything I needed. They have rye toast but not sourdough fyi- and they do offer sliced tomatoes for an alternative to potatoes as a side which was nice for those of us watching calories. This is a great breakfast establishment, everything was pretty good from the customer service, amount and taste of the food. We were sat pretty quietly and we were greeted by our server almost immediately. She was very patient with us because we were all (6) catching up with one another. I had 3 eggs with cheese, pancakes and turkey sausage. It was an abundance amount of food and it was delicious. The two pancakes were huge. Before heading back to Miami, my friends and I stopped to Keke's Cafe. We were a large party of seven. The hostess was very welcoming and quickly left to prepare a space to accommodate us. Justin was our waiter. He was very thorough ensuring he had everyone's order just right. I also appreciated that he did a dry run printout of our checks so there would be not confusion. With seven ladies it could be a bit much, lol. Anyway, our food came out nice and hot. My pancakes weren't as toasty as I like them and Justin graciously took them back to be redone. I had a yummy peach Bellini. My friends all had coffee which Justin filled as needed and made sure they had all the fixings to make it just right. Everyone was pleased with their selections. Let me start by saying that when you dine at the restaurant, the food and service are usually pretty good. My complaint is specifically with takeout orders, which don't seem to receive the same level of attention. Almost every time I order online, there seems to be an issue--either the order isn't correct or it takes much longer than the estimated pickup time. Today, I placed an online order at 12:20 p.m. and was told it would be ready by 12:35 p.m. I patiently waited an additional 25 minutes before finally asking about my order. In the end, it took 45 minutes to receive a very simple order of two sides of bacon and home fries. There's really no reason an order that simple should take that long. The manager did go back to speak with the kitchen staff, and I could see at least eight cooks working, but the kitchen appeared very unorganized. I will say that the hostess was apologetic and handled the situation professionally, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. The dine-in experience is generally good, but the restaurant really needs to improve how it handles online and takeout orders. read more

This place was horrible. I called ahead and asked if they had champagne and they said yes. We get there and find out they only have enough for 1 person. We had 4 people, they should have checked before they told me they did over the phone. Anyway we order other drinks and they were not very good. The floors were so sticky throughout the entire place. The bathroom only had one stall available and it had no toilet paper. Our server was nice but didn't have us out silverware, waters, menus etc just put everything at the end of the table and then messed up our checks. We didn't even have a large party. My food was mediocre at best. It was some of the worst turkey bacon I've ever had, my eggs were soaked in oil and my grits were sad. No one else seemed to love theirs and said it was just okay. Keke's Breakfast Cafe is my absolute favorite breakfast spot to go to with my mom and sister. We come here almost every Sunday morning--it's our little ritual, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I always get the blueberry stuffed French toast, and it is seriously DELICIOUS every single time. It's so flavorful and perfectly made. I'm also so happy they finally added grits to the menu! I'm a huge grits lover, and I used to be so sad that they didn't have them before. Now my breakfast is even better! Staff is always friendly. Well I have to give just a 3 star this time normally it would be a 5. Not sure what happened yesterday when we came in for breakfast but it too an incredibly long time for our food to arrive. We watched as couple who were seated before us( that we did not see as we arrived and then waited for our seat) waiting with the meals as we had coffee. We felt bad since they had children with them and thought to ourselves why would it be taking so long. It's breakfast, but that maybe the point. The table next to us was a group of older teenagers who when their food finally arrived just shy of 11am consisted of burgers and fries. ?? Maybe they had eaten breakfast already but maybe that's what they like for breakfast. When our food finally arrived unfortunately the French toast was room temperature. The inside wasn't even cooked. Looked as if they dropped it in egg batter a for a fast dip then on the grill for another fast flip over then plated. It was not the best to say the least. The eggs Benedict meal as warm but the home fries were undercooked. The waitress apologize for the delay and asked how the meal was since she noticed the plates not being touched. We advised her that we love to have breakfast here but today there were many issues. She did speak to the manager who did discount the meal but we would have liked to have eaten our breakfast not put in a complaint. read more

When you're trying out a franchise whether it's a restaurant, gym, or other store sometimes they vary from location to location, but with Keke's I've always been pleasantly surprised that they all are packed full of happy people. The portion seemed small, and the presentation didn't live up to my expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by a few of the other dishes I ordered. The steak and cheese omelette was flavorful and well-prepared, and I also enjoyed the apple French toast, which had a great taste. Additionally, the pancakes were incredibly buttery and delicious. Servers and managers continually checked in on us. The menu has all the breakfast basics. All of the food was good. Husband ordered the apple stuffed French toast. I ordered an egg white veggie scramble. Compared to other egg white dishes I have had, this actually had flavor. I also ordered some silver dollar pancakes on the side which were fluffy and had just the right amount of crisp. The coffee was respectable but it would have been nice to have been offered flavored creamer, as I saw others had on my way out. Overall, solid place for breakfast I would return to. read more
