This is our go to place. We love the restaurant, the staff is great, the tables are clean, and the music isn't too loud. The buns are great, the butter is delicious, and we love the trivia game on the tablet. We usually get the potato skins, chicken tenders without the buffalo sauce, we're wimps, and with honey mustard instead. It's incredibly creamy. My son loves the burgers here, my daughters gets the chicken tenders, and altar between the chicken tenders and country fried steak. The sides are very good, service is great. Definitely recommend. We arrived 9/7/2026 for lunch with my 83 year old parents. My Dad has multiple health issues and is in a wheelchair. We were seated promptly at a table and Jack greeted us immediately taking our drink order and suggesting an appetizer. We tried their version of the Outback's Blooming Onion. My husband and I really appreciated the light breading and delicious dipping sauce. Oh so good and a large portion. We waited to put in our entrees until we were mostly finished as we wanted to visit and not rush through it. We live in CT now and this was a quick trip. Jack was very accommodating and patient with my parents (they both wear hearing aids) and kindly repeated himself many times for them. Sincere, friendly service. Very professional and attentive. We all had steaks (two filets, medallions of filet and one sirloin) with two sides. Whew, a lot of food. Serving sizes are very generous. We needed two boxes at the end. Very busy location but it's efficiently run. We came without a reservation for a party of 5 and did not wait that long. Food portions are generous. The ribeye steak was very good for the price. Large filet mignon ordered medium rare. first half cooked nice and steak was tender. But second half too rare and not tender and inedible. Baked potato not as good this time potato mushy. Been here multiple times as it is close to home. Husby and I usually get seated right away no matter how busy it looks. Staff have always been friendly and on top of things. We always get a check in from the manager towards the end of our meal. Steak is consistently cooked appropriately and oh so tasty. I always get a 12oz ribeye medium rare with a side of mashed potatoes and caesar salad. Always hits the spot and have enough for leftovers. Husby sometimes orders the veggies as his side and there have been times that they are hard/inedible. Peanuts are in bags so you can take it home. We always get offered another basket of those delicious rolls as well, even if most of the time there's a wait on it because they've briefly ran out. Most recent visit on a Saturday evening, husby said that the men's bathroom was dirty. I haven't ever used the women's bathroom so I can't say. $5 frozen margarita was OK-- not great but not bad esp for the price. Husby said the peach iced tea had no taste. This location had a walk-up window outside where you can retrieve to-go orders which I thought was very handy. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated. We started with the Cactus Blossom. It was cooked very well and was crispy. The sauce is a great pairing with the onion. It had a nice tang to it. Also, you know we had the iconic rolls with cinnamon butter! Oh so delicious! I honestly could make a meal of just eating these. For dinner I had the sirloin with a house salad and French fries. I prefer the salad coming out a bit ahead of the entree but all the food came out so fast together. I almost wish there was more of a gap in time from appetizer and salad to the entrees. The steak was cooked perfectly - medium. The fries were good but it took forever for our server to come back to the table after receiving our food for me to ask for honey mustard for dipping. So my fries got a bit cold before I received the honey mustard. The salad was very fresh. We sat near a walk way where we saw the staff dance 2 different dances while dining in which was nice. Arrived just before 2 PM. Not busy at the time. Seems the lunch crowd had mostly thinned out. One person among our party of 4 had not arrived yet, so the hostess wouldn't seat us. We found that annoying. I understand the policy for certain places, but it didn't seem necessary here. For this reason we sat at the bar to wait. The bonus there was being served by Nick. Such a personable bartender! Definitely a people person. Eventually we got seated at a booth. Our server was friendly, but each time we ordered the margaritas which were on special it was more complicated than it should have been. Our main dishes took a long time mainly because the kitchen ran out of onions for the 2 Road Kills we ordered. They offered to deliver it without the onions, which would have been a disappointment. Miraculously onions did materialize, but you could tell those plates had been sitting for awhile. The meat was not hot, but moderately warm. Everything did taste good, however. The prices are decent. Took around 30 minutes to be seated, we went on a Saturday night so it was super busy so it was not a problem that we had to wait. Actually it was a pretty quick wait for the amount of people in the waiting area! The prices for the margaritas are not listed on the menu which is a little frustrating. Our server did not know the exact prices either when we asked but gave us a range of prices. Bread took awhile to get to the table, our food came out pretty quick though. My entree was missing a side of fries which we mentioned at the time the food was delivered. The fries didn't make it to the table until we were basically finished with our food which was kind of disappointing. The food was great besides that! I haven't been in a while so we got some take out. The value of our meal was great. The bread is always talked about and I didn't remember why but yea I get it now. The butter omg so heavenly. The steaks were alright but I think I'd try that again and see if it's better the next time. The broccoli was ok too -pretty soggy but flavorful. The kids didn't like it go figure but they actually do love broccoli. One of the steaks was a little tough but the others were good. 3 out of 4 not bad. The mash was good and the gravy too. The fries were fries. Stick shaped potatoes with no flavor. The amount of salad we got was manic I loved it. The two bartenders came right away and took our drinks order: house can, texas pour! And brought the cocaine rolls arr ehm the rolls you will try and get addicted to for life. We then got our steak which was perfectly cooked, sizable sides and full of flavor. Lastly we got to watch the line dancing which was very cool: they increase the volume of the music and dance but it doesn't last long enough to get annoying or boring. On my most recent visit, I finally tried the deep fried sirloin. It's like chicken fried steak, only better. They smother it in the most delicious white gravy, and it took everything in me not to absolutely inhale it. We ordered steaks cooked medium well--nothing crazy, just a little pink in the middle like most people expect. Instead, we had to send the steak back twice because it came out way too rare/red in the center both times. Then the "manager" Mariah showed up with the returned steak the first time. She stood there while my wife cut into it, revealing it was still basically raw/red inside. We politely pointed it out and reminded her we'd ordered medium well. Her response? "I know what medium well means." When I asked her what she thought it should look like, she snapped back with, "I'm not the one eating it." Seriously? That level of rude, dismissive attitude from a manager is unbelievable. No apology, no ownership, just pure sass and zero customer service. I told her I'd be leaving a review about this mess, and she casually mentioned she'd already "informed" her boss, the managing partner Rachel. Guess what? Rachel never bothered to come to the table, check on us, or even pretend to care. Not a single attempt to make it right. We've given this location so many chances over the years, but tonight was the last straw. Inconsistent cooking (they can't seem to get medium well right), terrible attitudes from management, and zero accountability when things go wrong. If you actually care about getting a properly cooked steak and being treated like a paying customer instead of an inconvenience, avoid this location at all costs. They clearly don't value regulars or basic respect. One star is generous--save your money and your patience somewhere else. read more

I can't say enough about the management at Texas Roadhouse in Oviedo. Kim was the manager the night that my mom and I were there. My mom passed out and it was so amazing that Kim stepped up and helped us so much. I've never been treated so well and so kind by a manager or their staff outstanding people there. Had an absolutely awful experience at this Texas roadhouse. It was a Saturday night and I understand it was busy, but not a single thing went right. One person of my parties steak came out quite literally looking like a ground beef. It was disgusting. We had to send it back, but by the time it came back out, everyone else finished their food. I'd personally didn't even touch my food because I got the boneless buffalo wings and they were quite disgusting. I had asked for extra sauce and got basically no sauce. The service was awful and our server definitely had an attitude. I appreciated the manager camping half of the bad stake in removing the buffalo wings from the Bill, but we were there for over an hour and a half because we had to wait a very long time just to talk to someone. My 8oz sirloin was a weird texture and had to be sent back and the shrimp were too rubbery. It was super busy which we did take into account but once more than one thing was wrong I had to ask to speak to the manager and she said what would you like me to do to fix the situation which I thought was odd. The experience is a little different each time, but we sometimes get peanuts offered with our meal and we sometimes don't. The bread is sometimes nice and warm and sometimes it's not. It's always fluffy and delicious though! The steak is good and the sides are good. I tried the country fried steak once and it was not terrible, but rather heavy. We arrived early before anyone else today to celebrate Mom's day (per her request to go here) for a special lunch. We were a party of 6 (again- the very 1st group inside the door) & they brought us all the way to the very back corner near the restrooms - and for us to cram into a both! We asked to be moved & they finally did. Half of our group went to the restroom to wash our hands & all 3 restrooms were a mess!! Trash cans overflowing in all of them, a person in the men's restroom shared there was no toilet paper in the stall - and remember..... they just opened! Our waiter make the oddest comment when he first came to our table, something about he just got in, didn't get a lot of sleep & hoped no one was going to give him a hard time - very odd. When it was time to pay, he asked how we wanted the checks - but he didn't ring them up correctly. The kitchen didn't have the standard condiments sent with our food orders (example: nothing with the potatoes) but overall the food was okay. Service was slow and up to par with typical friendliness of TX RH staff. The ambiance was about the same but it was abnormally quiet because the restaurant (at peak dinnertime) was 3/4 empty. My salad was good, but that's where it ended. There was a bone in my chili, my steak and shrimp were overcooked, and we never got any drinks refills. Everything took FOREVER to come out.
