There was a 5-10 minute wait when we arrived but that gave us time to look over the menu before we got seated. I love that they serve both breakfast and lunch! Surprisingly they were out of bacon on our visit so my husband got ham instead with his meal. My son greatly enjoyed his kids waffle, sausage, and fruit. It came with a small cup of milk (refills extra charge). I tried one of their pick two lunch meals, sandwich and salad. Walked in party of 5 on a Saturday morning. Not too busy. Just the right amount of noise level. We were able to talk with each other and have decent conversations without yelling across the table. Our waiter dropped off a coffee pitcher, didn't explain anything to us. We thought it was complimentary and didn't think to ask. Before we knew it he came and said "I see you're already drinking the coffee, did you guys need extra cream/sugar?" We were confused. Ended up paying for it, that's fine. But that tactic definitely got you to buy coffee even if everyone at your table doesn't drink. What a waste. Felt bamboozled. Will make sure to decline coffee next time. All the food was good. 2 different proteins for the Trifecta, 0/10 do not recommend the burnt sausages (came out burnt and dry) and the smoke ham. Very dry. Someone else got the omelette and oatmeal. They seemed to enjoy it. But I didn't taste it so I can't comment on that. Service was okay. Parking was plenty. Food was meh. We kept having to ask for things. The chicken was super tender, and the pesto had a really fresh, herby flavor. The mix of veggies, quinoa, and roasted tomatoes made it feel hearty but still light. Just what I needed! Though they said the waiting time was 15 - 20 minutes, we received a text letting us know that our table was ready after 10ish minutes, which was a nice surprise, since the place was packed! Went in for breakfast with friends around 915a on Saturday. I was quickly sat at a table and my friends arrived soon after. The ac was blowing strong but I appreciated it since it was so warm outside. Started off with the lavender mimosa ($10) which has subtle flavors and was so tasty. Instead of a breakfast meal, I went with the full sized roast beef sandwich and its side salad which was just arugula with other leafy greens ($15). The sandwich was good, cheesy toasted bread with a few slices of roast beef, a bit of Chorizo (?) and cooked onions with more leafy greens. The small tub of horseradish sauce was delicious and really gave the sandwich that extra kick it needed. The service was quick and friendly, our food all came out super fast. read more

On 8/29/2025 our server Felicity has to be the worst of the worst. The only thing she did right was bring coffee to the table. She took our order and never came back. No water in which l asked for, she didn't even bring the food or forks l had to flag down a worker for water and after all of this she returned to the table to say how is everything? The watermelon wake up was super refreshing and light! The blueberry cakes were the star of the show! You get 3 cakes, they're on the smaller side, topped with granola, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, a hint of cinnamon in the batter, and the jam! More so on the sweeter side, so I didn't have to use syrup, but not as sweet as I thought it would've been. The pancakes came with no sides so I did a order of eggs and chicken patties! It is always a great experience when I come to this location. But this day I wasn't too pleased with my selection. The customer service was great at the beginning of my meal, but throughout my meal, it seemed as if I was being forgotten. They had the staff (from my point of view), and there wasn't a rush. So, the neglect of customer service I didn't understand. Maybe they didn't think I would tip well enough. The pancake is always good when I order them, but the syrup I was suggested to get wasn't to my liking. Maybe because it's an upcharge (a dollar something), I was expecting more in taste. It's been quite some time since I've been to First Watch. I finally made it to this Winter Park location after they moved from Maitland. I truly love the decor and ambience. They had the window open so the crisp fresh air could flow through. It was a little too cool to sit outside, but I appreciated that they have outdoor seating as well. I went for a breakfast meeting, and started off with a drink from the juice bar. I ordered the Morning Meditation. It consisted of orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet juice. Needless to say, it was quite tasty! I also ordered the Market Skillet Hash. It was sooo good!! I would order it again and again and again! Crimini mushrooms, zucchini, shallots, red peppers, baby spinach, and mozzarella and goat cheese topped with a couple of eggs over medium. And a biscuit on the side. Definitely didn't go wrong with this one. I don't normally do chains, but I'm looking forward to my next visit. The service was up to par. Truly no complaints. The outside area has been completely transformed -- there's a walk up to-go area (genius!), lots of outdoor seating and even an outside bar area! The inside is bright and open and has a fun, family brunch vibe. Pro tip: While they don't take reservations, you can join the wait list online before you get there! It was pretty busy and we only waited a few minutes because we joined the list from the car on the way there. The staff was friendly and helpful but did seem to be used to turning tables very quickly. Pretty normal for a restaurant that focuses mainly on breakfast and some lunch but I imagine there are more customers who plan to stay a little longer because this location has brunch drinks. Our food was so good that I completely missed the opportunity to grab photos! We also tried a fresh drinks and the pomegranate one was our favorite by far.
