Oreo cookie razzle was delicious! The ice cream was creamy and for about $4.50 you get a good medium size amount with Oreo pieces! There are tons of different flavors and combinations to choose from! The slush was to die for! The blue raspberry was so good! The outside patio is the cutest to sit and enjoy your treat! Cute place! read more

They are officially open for 2018 and it already seems to be pretty busy. Stopped in today with the kids and prices are just about the same. A soft serve kiddie cup and a small slush cost $6.10. If you have never been just be aware that there is no indoor seating, there is however an area way out back with some picnic benches. They do have the amazing cherry dip that turns hard over the ice cream, yum! The also have Dole Whip, but do not get your hopes up if you are planning on going for the good old original pineapple, because they rarely have it and also the flavors change frequently. Right now they have Orange and Strawberry . The employees are usually teenagers and most are really sweet, but some could work on their attitude based on previous years of service. I have been waiting and waiting for Kells to open since moving to the neighborhood last fall, and the time is finally here! I was surprised to see they sell Richardson's ice cream because I thought they might make their own or sell low quality ice cream. Glad to see I was wrong! The ice cream is great and they have so many flavors to choose from. In addition to hard ice cream and soft serve, they have slush, ice cream sandwiches and sundaes, frappes, etc. They also have cheap prices and huge servings compared to other chains in the area, like jp licks. You get a good deal here! The actual shop is run by teens who are remarkably patient, considering how crazy busy it gets here sometimes. Great little place to go with my family when I'm visiting down in Lynn. They serve both soft serve and hard ice cream; my favorites are their flavor bursts, which is vanilla soft serve with a swirl of flavor (cotton candy, butter scotch, pistachio etc). They also have the Dole whips in pineapple and orange flavors. It's a pretty basic shop; order your ice cream and take it to go, or sit at the benches out back. Prices are decent. Location has a nice lot and a great area with picnic tables to enjoy your treat. We stopped on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. Ice cream selection is not huge. They did have some interesting looking flavors like toasted coconut. I saw the flavor enhanced soft serve and decided that would work better in a sundae. I tried the pistachio. It was just okay. Sort of flavor infused but you got the overall taste of vanilla with some nuttiness in every few bites. Sundaes are huge. Prices were great for the amount of ice cream and goo. For some reason they put a strawberry and not a cherry on top. Not sure what the reasoning for that is but perhaps just to stand out. My mother enjoyed her soft serve vanilla and mine was good too although I would have liked more of a pistachio taste. read more

I've been here a couple of times. Very small place. Many options on the menu. Only outdoor seating. Staff is pretty much teenagers so don't expect them to be doing anything more than their job description. They aren't very talkative or personable but they are helpful. I always order the same thing...Vanilla soft serve with cherry dip. I'm very selective about where I order soft serve from because I'm huge in taste and texture. I need it to be smooth & creamy and taste the same. Their soft serve is perfect. Size is generous and prices are fair. My wife gets a sundae and she says they are okay. Eh. Went in with whole family. Looking forward to some ice cream. While in there daughter needed bathroom, they wouldn't let her use it. Then they said my dog which is 12 lbs couldn't be in there. I am sorry to say but the service at this place stinks. if you want there employs to touch your cone they pick them up right after touching the dirty money . You need to use napkins or a paper you don't pick them up with your hands. Sanitize is very important in life you should show your help that cause people don't like to see that . read more

I just had the worst experience there. We live down the street so my daughter and I walk there a lot. I remembered I needed red white and blue sprinkles for a dessert and Couldnt find any in the stores. I remembered that Kells kremes sprinkles are RW&B. I stopped by to ask if I paid a few bucks if I could have a few scoops of sprinkles. The guy comes back and says small cup $5, large cup $10. Umm whoa. First of all a little pricey? And 2nd I only need a few scoops! I said how about $3 for 1/2 cup. He asks again and comes back and says no. So I went inside and spoke with the person making the decision. turns out he's like a 17 year old boy who thinks he is a manager when he is just the lead ice cream scooper on duty. I said do you realize I'm asking to pay more than what you say it's worth? Can you just be human and give me a few scoops? "Nope, I don't make the rules". All I can say is I miss dairy twirl SO much. This evening I went to kells Kreme and had ice cream. I was very indecisive of what I wanted to get. I saw apple pie on the menu so I asked the lovely young lady and she said it was delicious. She then let me have a sample and it was pleasantly surprising! Although the line was long, they helped me so much and told me to take my time.
