No one called me to let me know the paint was ready. I asked her when it was ready, and she snaps "I don't know I wasn't here". I immediately remembered her from my last visit where she had to fully disclose they will paint match but it's not guaranteed. Why doesn't she just say it out loud, "HOW CAN I NOT HELP YOU"? Then she looks up my account by name. As we're standing there for a good solid minute I say, can you put this on my account. She says "I need your ID" sure but why don't you ask for it instead of just standing there, breathing, and existing. Then she sarcastically says, "HAVE A NICE DAY". Your life must be sad to be that angry at strangers. Good lord lady- get a job somewhere else if you don't want to help anyone at Kelly Moore. I don't normally post agro reviews but you're attitude is horrible on the two visits to this KM store.

Sometimes these types of places that service professionals can be intimidating to a DIYer, but this was not the case here. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming and treated me with respect. Nicolas was very patient with me while I tried to find my perfect colors. He steered me to the right product for the job from primer to paint. He also showed me how to properly hold a brush when cutting in. This made such a huge difference in my current project and I'm never going back. Saves me so much time. I'm forever grateful. The paint itself has been great - colors are vibrant, paint silky and covers nicely. I'm a strong believer in three coats, but honestly it covers really well, you could probably get away with two, if you're careful with your application. It's not cheap, but I think fair for a quality product I can use and not worry about any issues during application and down the line. The smell is very mild and dissipates quickly. I definitely will continue using this store for all my paint needs.

The choice of colors is mind-boggling. Lynn generously gave us multiple sets of color strips to hold up to our car in the sunlight. Her patience and helpfulness were of a level that is rarely encountered. After we identified just the right color, Lynn helped us decide on the supplies we needed to do the job. Throughout the process, she impressed us as genuinely having our best interests at heart--just like a good friend, even though we had just met for the first time. Lynn also gave us valuable tips/advice about how to do the job done well and how to properly store the supplies. She even invited us to wait in our car outside while the paint was being custom mixed. Recently, I needed to touch up a banged-up wall, but only had one dried-up can of the original color from 2009. I discussed all this with one of the employees, who asked if I could cut off a sample directly from the wall so they could color-match. She didn't sound terribly optimistic ghat they'd get it right-on, and also recommended that I use a foam brush to dab and blend rather than a brush. I am happy to report that the results are PERFECT. I used a beauty blender as seen here. Can you even tell where the touch-up happened? Anyway, my relationship with this shop is longer than some marriages.
