For e.g. our refrigerator is next to the wall ; proactively she made sure that we are not stuck with only those refrigerator options; she included side bars (fillers) so that we can get any fridge we wanted. Any time we called her and asked her 'Kelly what do we do?' She would say 'don't worry. I thought about it for you'. She was always helpful and on spot when making decisions. She also has a good taste and if you ask her for design ideas, she would offer those to you without being too pushy. Kelly is also incredibly responsive. She responds to emails and messages very timely and thoroughly and it really shows that she is there to support you. Another amazing aspect of working with Kelly was that she made sure everything was perfect till the end. She checked with us throughout the process. For example, we had already put in and paid for our cabinet orders. Kelly knew we were getting new kitchen appliances. She asked us to send the model numbers since she wanted to make sure that everything will fit perfectly. Now our kitchen is all done! There were no issues with the cabinet installation. It is beautiful, we really like it! We couldn't have done it without Kelly!

Richard helped me with my questions. He was knowledgeable and patient. He showed me comparable products around the floor then put my order together. Most items are in stock! That's great!! Gabby wrote up purchase orders and verified all items and prices. 7. Robert shared his expertise on lighting, tile installation and doors and hardware for the existing closet. He was confident the closet and vanity matched and am so happy with the results. The team was professional, respectful and offered options of material costs, shipping fees, dates and even problem solving as the project began. The showroom displays helped to visualize the remodel. Anne's selection of vanity material, which I would have never looked at on my own, is a stunning piece. The hardware for all the plumbing is on display. They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. If you have a Rakuten cash back app and pay online, I think you get the cash back as well.

When we complained, we were told it's a "production issue," and they couldn't help us. A business is responsible for a project until it is fully delivered. Look elsewhere if you value communication and timelines.

My experience with Bay Stone Depot was extremely frustrating and disappointing…read more I purchased two stone slabs for my home, expecting premium quality and service given the price. Within weeks after installation, pit marks and dents began developing on the surface. Over the following months, additional defects continued to appear under normal use. When I reported the issue, Bay Stone initially acknowledged it as a quality concern but directed me to work directly with their supplier rather than handling it themselves. After months of follow-up, the supplier's representative inspected the slabs and offered replacement slabs. I then returned to Bay Stone to request some form of refund instead of replacement, since the cost of uninstalling and reinstalling the slabs makes the replacement offer impractical and financially unreasonable. Bay Stone indicated that a refund might be possible but claimed the supplier required the original slabs to be returned. That was not what I had been told. After I confirmed with the supplier that returning the originals was not required, Bay Stone changed its position. The manager, Kimberley, told me it was "not scientifically possible" for pit marks to develop after installation and suggested I should have identified the issue at delivery. I provided multiple dated photos showing the progression of the defects. After that, my messages went unanswered. What stood out most was the lack of ownership and empathy. Kimberley was not apologetic and did not appear interested in finding a practical resolution. Instead, responsibility was repeatedly shifted, and ultimately, the issue was attributed to me for not raising it at delivery, even though the slabs appeared fine at that time. It felt as though once payment was made, accountability ended. When customers pay premium prices, they expect both quality materials and meaningful support if something goes wrong. In my case, that expectation was not met.

He took me to see a project that his crew was working on in SJ and when I saw the crew working I knew that they were the right company for me. The most impressive part of the process is the communication amongst the teams. Despite supply chain issues and delays, they were still able to hit all of the timelines because we had to move out of the house for the construction. I won't belabor the review, just know that you can trust Tal and his team. He was straightforward and trustworthy throughout the process. I have already referred him to several friends. If you have any doubts, drop them and go with Tal!

Hence we only had a month to remodel the Kitchen so speed to completion was the highest priority for me. We did get bids from 2 other companies as well and we went with Remodel Design and Build after talking to Tal (their Project Mgr). The first thing that set them apart was the in-person time they spent in looking at the Kitchen, measuring everything, and providing detailed specifics on what needs to be done. At the end, they provided me a detailed quote on each and every line item, unlike others who lumped everything in their quote which could quickly turn into guess work. The second thing was the Time to completion. They gutted the old kitchen and fully finished the new kitchen to perfection in 3 weeks time (including permits, inspections, labor etc).. This was unbelievable and was the most important aspect for us. Nhi was our Foreman and had an excellent handle on things. He foresaw many things upfront and gave us suggestions to change or replace so that things fall well in place. As you can imagine, gutting a kitchen, replacing flooring and getting a new kitchen including all appliances installed is no small job, but Nhi and team finished everything on Time and the day we moved in is when they moved out.. Could not have asked for a better timing with my 4 yr old and old parents with me, the last thing I wanted was a dusty and noisy home. But it was well taken care of before we arrived so that we can start living. They are definitely not the cheapest out there but they are the most professional, on time, transparent and don't charge a dime beyond what was signed on the dotted line.
