Highly upset with this as there should not even be an option on the website for delivery if you can't make this happen. Jacob and Matt took exceptional care of us and made our experience so much fun. Their energy, attentiveness, and hospitality were unmatched. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a half dozen Oysters Bienville, and baby... when I tell you they were to DIE for! Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chef's Special: Linguine Alfredo with shrimp and crawfish, topped with fried red snapper, served with green beans and garlic bread. Whew! Every bite was seasoned to perfection. My wife ordered the Salmon Latiffe with Brussels sprouts and rice, and it was BOMBBBB. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. And of course, 4 reposado tequila lemon drops later, we were having the time of our lives! The drinks were amazing, the food was phenomenal, and the service was exceptional. Overall, this was an incredible lunch date with my wife. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and even better service. We will absolutely be back! 10/10 highly recommend.

I ordered the fisherman's platter which came with the choice of blackened, grilled, or fried catfish and shrimp, hush puppies, fries, crawfish etouffee, and salad. The portion size is HUGE - I could only eat half of what came out even though I was starving. The fries are some of the best fries I've had - they were crispy, seasoned well, and had a nice thick doughy potato consistency which I love. Everything tasted very fresh. The catfish filets were heavily seasoned and thinner than I would have liked but it was nice and flakey with a beautiful crisp to it. The etouffee had an abundance of crawfish in it (nice to know they don't hold back) and wasn't overly salty like I feel it often is at other restaurants. While it's mainly a serve yourself after you order, the food is brought out by the employees and they routinely check in on you, asking how things are and if you need anything. Everyone here has a great attitude and are very kind and helpful. I will absolutely be recommending this restaurant to the rest of my family. :)

MUST GO. My husband and I sat in the car for several minutes debating if we wanted to go in since…read moreit was a seafood restaurant in a strip mall. We finally went through the reviews and decided it was the last day of vacation so we went. It did NOT disappoint. The outside looks a little sketchy for a seafood restaurant, quite honestly, but the inside was nice. You walk in and see several desserts which looked scrumptious. The seating area is very open and easily accessible. Our server was a young kid and very kind. He seemed a bit new as he couldn't answer many questions about the menu, or simply is one of those "read and figure it out yourself" type of servers. I'm sure you know the type. My husband and I both felt like he was maybe "partaking" before work as he was a little apathetic about everything. We ordered the corn dip appetizer which was the perfect blend of savory and spicy. Our toddler loved it. My husband ordered crab crusted red fish and he was blown away. I got the coconut shrimp and definitely should have done the half order. We got a few drinks and mine was pure alcohol, no juice to the point it tasted like I was drinking rum straight from the bottle. For dessert we got booze Oreo milkshakes which were delicious and we were able to take them home. We would definitely be back!

The restaurant is super clean and the environment is always welcoming. They greet and seat you pretty fast. My only suggestion is they train the employees more on cleanliness- I watched one of the waiters continuously scratch his head then touch plates and he coughed in his hand. I sat at the bar and never saw him wash his hands. I did tell what I presume to be the manager he went and washed his hands then did it again. It would make customers turn away. But the food is good. I also had the boudain balls and peel and eat shrimp. Both were good!

I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.
