Fresh quality sushi and other dishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice bar and atmosphere![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the BEST service ever in a restaurant in a long long time by Dianna. She said she is a perfectionist and her service reflected it! Thank you Dianna for a wonderful dinner with my son!! We will be back!!

This is easily one of our favorites! And the only high-quality sushi spot near the Clearlake area. They have unique dishes and the quality is great. They update their specials regularly so you get to try rare fish finds.

This is my go-to spot! The sushi is always fresh, high-quality, and crafted with creativity. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You will always meet interesting people at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Try their lychee martini and oyster shooters. So delicious. Literally everything on the menu is amazing. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It's the only sushi place I visit in Webster because it's just that good!

The food here is great! This place has become my go-to spot for delicious Asian cuisine. I usually order enough to last at least two days.

We were initially told the wait would be about 20 minutes, but it ended up being closer to an hour. Once we were finally seated, ordering through the iPad was simple and convenient. The sashimi and hibachi dishes arrived quickly, while the specialty rolls and fried items took considerably longer because of how busy the restaurant was. To get the most value out of an all-you-can-eat experience, I usually focus on ordering sashimi. My favorites were the salmon, yellowtail, and eel, all of which were fresh and enjoyable. The spicy scallop sushi was the standout of the entire meal and easily my favorite bite of the night. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, and that was the one I kept going back to. The steak hibachi was solid, with well-seasoned meat and generous portions. The fried oysters and crab rangoons were both crispy and cooked well without feeling overly greasy. The specialty rolls were good too. While none of them particularly stood out, they were all enjoyable and well made. Overall, there was not a single dish that I disliked. Even with the much longer-than-expected wait, the quality and variety of the food made for a satisfying all-you-can-eat experience. If you plan on visiting during peak dinner hours, I would recommend expecting a wait, but once you're seated, there are plenty of options to make the meal worthwhile.

So I really wanted to love this experience, but unfortunately it fell short in my collection of…read moreHibachi experiences. Let's start with the positives, the restaurant itself and ambiance was nice, clean, inviting...lots of staff! Loved that they had a happy hour on a weekend day, we ordered sushi, sake, and crab puff rolls off the happy hour menu and they were all good. I feel like we would come back at some point and just do happy hour. Lots of good choices on the menu. Soup was very good, loved the soup. Salad was good, very tasty dressing. Soup and salad came with hibachi. Our waiter seemed very rushed, nervous, somewhat annoyed. This was our first time here, and first time looking at the menu. It seemed odd that he took our menus after we ordered a few things off the happy hour menu, if he would have left the menus we would have probably ordered more off the menu. We still had over an hour before happy hour was over. Drinks were okay, I ordered iced tea partner ordered sake. It was supposed to be cold, but seemed more lukewarm temp. Now for the Hibachi, I'm going to be honest it seemed like the guy was struggling. There was barely any interaction throughout the whole experience, and as you know that's what Hibachi is all about. I ordered the steak and shrimp, partner ordered the scallops. Everything was cooked with tons of oil, the shrimp and scallops were drenched in oil and there were some pieces that weren't cooked all the way through. Veggies were barely thrown on and taken right off, they were hard and lacked flavor. The whole point of grilled veggies is the slight char, and taste of the grill. He did remake the scallops but we didn't ask him to remake the shrimp or veggies for the chicken fried rice because at the point the medium steak was turning into very well done. The rice was okay, again seemed very rushed...veggies were barely cooked before chopped and grilled with rice. The service seemed very sloppy, rice veggies flung outside of grill, beside some of the customers plates...cleaning the grill to where we shielded our clothes a few times...he seemed very confused with the orders/waiters notes and seemed like he just wanted to be done. He spoke maybe 3 times the whole experience. I'd like to think that we just got a newer cook, the food itself may have been better maybe if we had a different cook experience. I've done several Hibachi experiences and this one was very lackluster, the table as a whole seemed very underwhelmed. The manager stopped by to discuss the scallops, gave feedback regarding the tons of oil, etc. He gave a military discount I believe about $6. Overall I think for a $100+ dining experience I definitely expect more in terms of experience and treatment of the food. Not sure if we'd return, the guy dining next to us suggested Shogun his issue was that the portion sizes were too small. We might do a stop in happy hour quick bite at some point, but not for Hibachi I don't think. There are so many other options to try.

The restaurant was…read moreclean, well-organized, and the atmosphere felt comfortable for both small groups and solo diners. The broth was flavorful but not overly salty, which worked perfectly for cooking the meats and vegetables. The beef slices were thin and fresh, cooking quickly in the broth and staying tender. The vegetable platter was generous and included a nice variety like cabbage, mushrooms, tofu, and noodles. One thing I liked was the sauce bar--there were several options like ponzu, sesame sauce, garlic, and chili so you could customize the flavor exactly how you want. Service was friendly and attentive. The staff explained how to cook the ingredients properly, which is helpful if you're new to shabu-shabu. The only small downside was that it can get a bit busy during peak dinner hours, so you might have to wait for a table. Overall, it's a great spot if you're craving fresh hot pot and a casual dining experience. I'd definitely come back again.

Came in with a group of friends for a late dinner and wanted to order a lot of meats. We ended up ordering 12 meats to start off for the three of us at one of the tables but only ever got 7 of our meats. Wasn't the biggest issue, and I was still fine at this point. For the next ~20min after we finished our meats, I see our waiter walking around, helping out one table at a time and then just dip, not seeing them for a long period of time. Eventually, the lady working at the front desk helps us order our meats, and our waiter comes out 5 minutes later to ask us if we need anything. I don't really know what happened here, everything still tasted great, but waiting this long to eat more really just kind of ruined the vibes of this meal. Hope my next experience is better.

There's decent space inside, but not suited for large gatherings. The location is a little difficult to find. Komeya is crammed into a small business strip next to a busy street. Every day, Komeya has a different special of the day, food they don't typically serve on their menu like Korean fried chicken wings or fried mochi with banana for example. Prices aren't too bad. I wouldn't recommend the green curry ramen. It didn't remind me of Asian curry and it lacked flavor, though the chicken in my green curry ramen was seasoned and cooked to perfection.
