Awesome sandwiches! So glad they're in Pleasanton now I've been a fan since the Danville location…read morefor decades! It's all good! I tried their pick up option online so I could order and pay without waiting. The app even tells when your order is ready. I decided to build my own sandwich and ordered a roast beef and turkey sandwich on Dutch crunch with everything. Picked it up to a friendly greeting and smiles from all of the staff. Took it home to eat and wow this was a huge sandwich and full of ingredients. Unfortunately I noticed quickly it was all turkey and no roast beef. They forgot my meat. I sure hope they get it right next time. I should say that even without my roast beef this was an incredible tasty sandwich. Every bite got better and better. I honestly can say I haven't had a deli sandwich as good as this in a very long time. Probably the best Dutch crunch roll ever and so soft with the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness on top. This sandwich was pure heaven and so big but I was hungry and wanted to go right back for another. Still one of the best sandwiches in the Bay Area and I'm so glad there finally in my hometown of Pleasanton. I'll be back soon and very often I guarantee! It's a must try if you're in the area or even if it's a bit of a drive. Tell em Scotty sent you.

I recommend calling into order at the deli or getting the app for the cafe and picking up. The parking is also pretty tight so if you can grab and go that is the best way to enjoy the meal. They also have catering, which is a solid option for your events! If you order in ahead of time do not wait, walk up and ring the bell.

They were never nice or polite everytime i go there to pick up. I deliver every food places in this area, and i know 1000% who is polite or rude and treat people differently. And i not even picky person at all, i have been dashing for many years.!!! And im always friendly. If u think ( not saying hi, yelling at me "what is the name of customers name, in angry mad way like im ur child or worse and once food is ready throwing food at me) is your normal standard procedure, u r in wrong business. Ur attitude is the worst compare other food places around u, at least for delivery drivers, maybe u treat nice for people who dine in ur place. And fact that u trying to hide and act like u were normal is just makes it even worse. Anyway, good luck for changing ur attitude at people who makes less $ than u.

High class prices and foods.....low class customer service!…read moreI drove 50 miles roundtrip from Oakland to their store in Danville on Saturday afternoon to purchase premium sandwiches for a party we were having. At 3PM I attempted to order 6 sandwiches from the deli department....the guy working there said he was out of rolls! What? Out of rolls at only 3PM? How can ANY huge supermarket run out of rolls? So, I went over to their bread department and found some rolls. He then told me he can not use rolls from their own bread dept to make sandwiches. I made it clear to him I was willing to pay extra for the rolls but he said he couldn't do it. So I went and got the store manager on duty, a nice fellow named John. John was very apologetic about having run out of rolls and he also agreed that his staff should have made my sandwiches with bread from the bread department, given they prematurely ran out of rolls. He went over and spoke to the woman behind the deli counter. She told the Manager that they never said they wouldn't make the sandwiches from alternative bread, it was just that I did not say I would be paying extra for that bread! That was not the truth. When I said to her directly you are not speaking truth to your manager and I said do not put words into my mouth, she insisted I never told the guy back there I'd pay extra for the bread! Who needs such confrontations and frustrations over sandwiches after driving 25 miles each way to buy some? I walked out. We will never be shopping at Lunardi's market again. They sure know how to apply excessive high prices to their goods while at the same time not providing any exceptional customer service! That store has some major issues with their staff and attitude problems. This is the fault of upper management not instructing their underlings what a "premium store experience" should feel like. I certainly could have gotten a more customer friendly, positive experiences from any local Dollar Store, compared to the circus I received at Lunardi's Saturday!

Still the best bagel sandwich in the area!! This is my top spot around here and it's great that…read morethey're now on online delivery platforms. Their bagels are the softest you can find here.

This is a Vietnamese owned NY Style bagel shop in San Ramon. They specialize in bagel sandwiches…read moreand classic sandwiches as well. The shop is located in a plaza with several eateries, and it sits right by a courtyard with tables and chairs. There are a few tables inside as well. They are very efficient with their morning rush. I was ordering for several people, so I thought it would be more efficient to place my order online, even though it does state that their prices are 14% higher when ordering online (via Doordash). However, when I came to pick up my order, I was shocked that the online prices are WAY more than 14% higher. For example, their most popular item, the Eggwich with cheese and meat, is $8.45 online and only $6.39 in store. That's 32%. Ouch! PRO TIP: order in store if you're gonna go in to pick up anyway. So, how was the food? Actually quite good. What we got: + Eggwich with ham and cheese - bagel was soft and there was a decent amount of ham and eggs. + Eggwich with sausage and cheese on Jalapeno cheese bagel - the Jalapeno bagel was spicier than I expected. I had to pluck off a few Jalapenos, but I enjoyed the sandwich. + Pastrami sandwich on a roll - this was served on dutch crunch. Sandwich was tasty with a generous amount of pastrami and a good combination of veggies. Overall, a good bagel/sandwich shop in a great location. Their sandwiches are quite large for the low (in store) prices. Oh, they also have boba tea drinks and Vietnamese coffee. But we didn't try any of the drinks.
