Fast and friendly service! Tons of yummy options I had a bionico which was very yummy maybe just needed some fresher raisins but everything else was delicious. They are super tasty popsicles. Lots of seating inside to enjoy with a couple of friends or family. Only thing is I've arrived twice at opening at 10 am and both times it was closed even waited 20mins pass and nothing. The good: I've wanted to try this place ever since I saw the "now open" sign outside (which my husband said has been there for months). I got mazapan (Mexican peanut candy) and Ferrero rocher ice cream in a medium for around $7 & a banana cinnamon agua Fresca. Total for everything was around $12. The interior is clean with a lot of tables for two. There are tons of paleta and ice cream options. The interior is fun and colorful. They also have savory foods like nachos, tostilocos, and elote. The mazapan ice cream was my favorite. The texture was chewy and soft. I'll definitely come back and try more flavors. They had so many cool tropical flavors and Mexican-treat flavors. The bad: There was a homeless lady sleeping outside. There's no outdoor seating areas. The ferrero rocher wasn't as chocolatey or hazelnutty as others I've had but more milky. Customer service sucks, recently went and the two ladies working there had an attitude. One of the ladies ask me what I would like and when I told her she rolled her eyes and let out a big sigh, she didn't say anything just walked to the other lady working there and asked she something, walked back to me and said "26 piece or 36". Came here yesterday and the owner? Idk it was a guy was kind of rude. I asked what flavor the ice cream was and he pointed to the glass. The glass was opened so that the labels were not clear hence why I asked. Anyways it's too expensive $6 for a small hand scooped ice cream, wasn't even scooped fully. I am so excited about this location! Finally after a while, it has opened not too long ago. You ready for a sugar rush? This place definitely has so much to offer. Raspados (shaved ice), ice cream, popsicles, juices, smoothies, crepes, etc. Also in the mood for something spicy? They have tostilocos, esquite, nachos with jalapeños, etc. To be honest, I kind of get overwhelmed with the menu because sugar is my weakness. So! You do need to be mindful it's off the PCH and western so it can get a bit dicey. The staff is friendly. Although they mostly only speak Spanish. There was a lot of point and broken Spanish (on my side) nonetheless the woman was sooo friendly once she understood that i was asking for were recommendations she exploded with glee. A man was taking our order but he didn't speak one bit of Spanish (Which they should considering is a MEXICAN antojitos store) I told him I wanted a Biónico and as soon as I said that he proceeded to turned around and start making it. He did not ask what I wanted in it or with what. I think this is something HUGE he needs to consider since people do have allergies. At any other Michoacana they ask what would you like in your snacks but he however didn't. I eventually told him I only wanted 3 ingredients in it since I am allergic to the others. And he had to redo my order. He then took my boyfriend's order. My boyfriend wanted tostilocos and once again as soon as he said what he wanted he turned around and started making it. And my boyfriend wanted different chips and he had already opened the bag. He then proceeded to tell us to stop changing our minds and go off on us. I just told my boyfriend we should leave because he wasn't worth arguing with. And he then told us to not go back which we weren't planning too. Also it is not very clean. He did not have gloves on. I went to this location tonight to get two things. This location closes at 9 pm. I asked for lemon ice cream and a mangoneada. The lady told me oh were out of Mangoneadas. Which i said ok but then thought how weird. I asked her again when she offered me a mangoneanada icecream bar, is it because u close at 9 or because your completely out of the product. She then says oh its because were cleaning? Really? I wont be coming to this location. The one on avalon will make anything even minutes before closing. Bad customer service. I hated being a customer to go 16 minutes before closing but my mom was released from the hospital and i was trying to get her craving after being in the hospital for three months.
