Then I went to this location in college park and they use 3M film which has a factory lifetime warranty. This place was extremely busy and I came after 4pm. They tinted my car while I waited and it was done in an hour and a half. Great job, perfect quality tint and professional installation. The price everywhere else was $250 and up. They had a special for $160. The customer service was great. I highly recommend this place for your car customization. UPDATE* I went back to have new speakers put in my doors and rears I have the factory boss system with an aftermarket radio. The customer service guy was very honest and nice, he heard my system and said I just needed to adjust the crossover which he did and it sounds so much better. He changed my speakers to 63hz so I was getting more bass from the boss 6.5" door and rear speakers. He then adjusted my subwoofer too. He said I could get better speakers but in his opinion with the adjustments mine were just as good. They also installed a rear view camera which came out perfect. It looks stock, so clean. The image is HD not like those cheap $20 cameras you find on eBay.

During the pandemic, I purchased a classic van. It came without a stereo; the previous owner…read moreremoved it. I had a small budget for something temporary so I purchased a Pioneer unit on Amazon. Afterwards, I contacted Hot Tint in May 2022. They responded to me that day and told me to stop by the shop. I made an appointment for later that week. When I arrived, I asked them to install the unit and a backup camera. I can't recall how much time it took but it was done in a reasonable amount of time and I'm happy with their service. I called a few other shops around this time. A couple had other projects and couldn't get to me for a few months. A couple of others didn't want to touch the van because of its age, manufactured in 1989. Hot Tint was straight-forward. They said let them see what I have and they'll let me know if they could use what I had or needed something else. I appreciate that approach. I did have a couple of problems but they were responsive. While driving home, my radio rebooted twice. The cable came loose so they told me to return to the shop so that they could fix it. The second is my clock resets to 12:00 every time the vehicle is restarted. They told me to bring it by so that they can fix it but I haven't. I'm rarely on the screen to see the time and just had other priorities. I mention these items to show that they were responsive and willing to troubleshoot the problem. I rate them high also because there are many mechanics and technicians who can work on a classic vehicle but refuse to do so. There are a handful like Hot Tint that jumps right in and do the job. I'm finally ready to add an amp and subwoofer so I will be contacting them again soon.

The dealership advised that I needed an expert because disconnecting the wrong wires could conceivably affect the ignition! Found my expert!
