I have been going here for years. Recently it seems to get worse and worse and after today I am finally giving a review. The food is the food and I have no complaints there as it's always been that way. Service is slow and customer service is non existent. In the drive through after waiting for ten minutes at the window, a manager (name starts with W) confirms what I ordered. He then states that they already charged my card for the wrong order which was 1.50 less expensive. He told me I have to re pay and they refunded my card which takes 3-5 days. So without even asking they do the refund and now ask me for more money. Not to mention I have to wait for the refund. You don't know people financial standing. The right thing to do was either just give the food for the original charge or let me know the situation and ask if the refund was ok. I mention both of those to him and he looked at me and gave me a face that I read is it is what it is pay again or no food. He walked away from the window and I sat there embarrassed and annoyed. I ended up paying again but come on work on customer service because it's not my problem that the kids working messed up orders read more

I grew up going to the Kelly's on revere beach and I'm utterly disappointed in the decline of the franchise over all. I find the saugus location to be the worst. The food is drastically overpriced and passable at best. The clam chowder fails in comparison to it's prior glory. I eat here on occasion now because every couple of months I forget how bad it's gotten. Lendy's Deli is pretty much next door and has better food at better prices. read more
