It's that crisp on the outside that I love. I get it without the tomatoes and no mayo. Next time I'll ask for no crispies as well. I like it just it plain, perfect amount of salty is just my favorite. This place is the best place for Brussel sprouts. I also like to get the breaded cod here I've never had it better anywhere. It tastes & looks like real fresh cod. It is not shiny or glossy like frozen cod. This is the real deal fresh breaded cod. This is a real legit British food. The service is spectacular especially for a downtown bar. This restaurant is very clean. All the staff are just super friendly and they don't rush you at all. Just very sweet wholesome people staffed here. The food here is way better than Yard House 10 out of 10. However, Yard House does have the best onion rings. That's the only thing that I get there with the beer cheese cause that's the only thing that's good there. The only thing I like at Yard House are the onion rings other than that I think the rest of the food is worse than going to Chili's. Yeoman's also has TV screens and the people that come here are not as sleazy as the ones that go to Yard House. Very different clientele thank goodness. This place does not give me the heebie-jeebies when I come in here. The men here are normal and they don't flock the girls like they do at Yard House ICK. Thank goodness for a wholesome sports bar like Yeoman's!!

I enjoyed the food. Drinks...meh....not impressed. I'm very surprised being under the same entity as Morgan's Cove, that the beverage consistency was NOT the same, which I can't understand. The establishment as a whole is REALLY impressive! They have pool tables, arcades, digital golf and more. It would be a great spot to kick it if you had a large group of people. Service was average. Take your order, bring you your items, then on to the next person. I made it clear that I wasn't happy with the drinks and was suggested to try a different one, which I also didn't like. There was no discount, or removal offered for the items on my bill that I KINDLY explained that I didn't enjoy (nor that looking for) the offer would have been appreciated. All-In-All this is a rare place, where I won't come back to...at least this portion of the entity. My advice...consistency is the key for one entity. My first 3 Stars!

The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

I've never had it ever before but fell absolutley in love with it. The lemon truffle vinaigrette over arugula is just to die for. I don't bother ordering anything else when I'm at Mad Dogs. The service is always great and a nicer pub atmosphere. A great place to meet and dine, watch a soccer game, or have brunch.

Especially when restaurants want us to pay their server's salaries with 20+ percentage tips. So I'll start with the positives... I was incredibly impressed with the inside of this restaurant. The outside... Not so impressive. The neighborhood... Not so impressive. I wasn't expecting a really nice restaurant... But then the doors opened. It's amazingly beautiful inside. If you are planning an event or want to go on a very nice date night... I recommend this place. Now the in-between part of the review. The food was good... With a few exceptions. My mother-in-law got the salmon... It looked great. One of my sister-in-law's ordered the steak and fries. She ordered it medium... It was definitely medium rare if not more on the rare side. That's the way I like a steak... But, definitely not the way she ordered it. She said it was good. My other sister-in-law ordered the fish and chips... Quite good. Definitely the star of the show so far. My wife ordered a healthy chicken dish... not worthy of commentary. My son ordered the kids cheeseburger... He said it was the best cheeseburger he's ever had. And finally the disappointing entrée... Mine. I ordered the shepherds pie. I was pretty excited... I don't think I've ever had a lamb shepherds pie. However, I still don't think I have!!! I'm not sure there was any lamb in my lamb shepherds pie. Did it taste good... Yeah. In one bite I noticed something that resembled meat. In EVERY OTHER BITE... there was nothing. I was expecting a lot of mashed potatoes... It's shepherds pie after all. I was expecting the vegetables... I got some. But, where was the meat? Quite disappointing. Summary: Great looking restaurant with overall pretty good food. Pricing wasn't too bad. Entrées were reasonably priced... But, if you use my shepherds pie as an example... I don't really know what I paid for??? The restaurant does nickel and dime you for everything! The hummus appetizer came with a few pieces of pita and a lot of hummus. Obviously, you need more pita. They charge you for it. A Coke is $4.75. Wow! We were celebrating and brought a small round cake. We got charged a cake cutting fee ($15) in lieu of getting a free dessert. The receipt looked like a receipt from CVS... It just went on forever with every nickel and dime fee they added. So would I recommend the place... I guess so. Not a strong recommendation. But, a surprisingly nice looking restaurant with decent food. Just don't get the shepherds pie.
