Kelseys has always been a go to for us, however their menu has recently changed so we look forward to navigating through it. The last time we were here we got the Apple Pie Creme Brulee, it was a must try. Tonight it was not on the menu. I would hope that they would bring it back. Had an early dinner at Kelseys today. The service was extremely slow and the filet I ordered with the surf and turf meal was only slightly trown on to cook. Very rare. After attempting to flag the waitress down she finally came over. She contacted the manager and both were shocked at how rare the meat was. Still it took another 10 minutes for someone to return to take my filet back to be cooked to medium. Ate dinner here for the first time..UGH ! Party of 4 + little one and guess who's chicken nuggets turned out to be the best of the meals. Order included BBQ pork sandwich, corn soup, 2 chopped salads and jambalaya. No one liked the food. It took at least 30 minutes to get the food and they told us they were waiting on the nuggets ? To top it off, service was way below par. We actually had to call another server to get hold of our server and then she came with an attitude. Went there last night after a party at the hotel. For the most part, it's a nice place and food was great. The server helping our table was okay. Thought he could have been a little more hospitable. I love music and dancing but every time a song came on that you wanted to dance to, the song lasts a minute and then on to the next song that didn't mix well. I went to Kelsey for New Years eve 2020. It was my 1st time. We watched a jazz band play and had a Buffet dinner. The food was quite good for a buffet. The service on the other hand was horrible. We sat most of the night with the empty dishes in front of us. We were a party of 6 and were placed on tables that were ment for 2. We had no room for drinks or elbow room. The server was never available. We had to flag her down everytime we needed anything. I went and asked her finally for the check. When she gave us the check it was 40 dollar more then I was expecting. Nothing was written down just a number that I owed. I wasn't sure if I got the right check. I went up and asked her and she said it was a service charge. I already wrote the tip out and everything so I was going to double pay her. I am a tipped employee too so I always leave a least a 20% tip. I was super irritated that it was not written down. Felt like I was being taken advantage of. After that I erased the tip I was giving and just gave the service charge. She had a better tip from me before the service charge. Don't know if that is pechanga company policy but they need to change that and inform guests that they are adding a service charge. I have never seen this done this way ever. read more

Menu sounds enticing until u actually see it...gross the original buffet says its under temporarily renovation so it was moved to Kelsey's.... the menu lack alot of things thats not worth 16.95 plus tax per person... everything was bland from the bbq chicken to the cheap ass boneless steak. id have to say the only good thing was the desserts and prob the spanish rice. oh yeah i showed my rewards card and i got a few dollars off on my bill...but either way i dont think i would eat here again. p.s. i think the first floor and the 2nd floor serve about the same meals...not too sure. read more

This is the first time we have been at this restaurant and I would say they need to work on their customer service. It took over 10 minutes to get anyone to come to our table after we got seated and after flagging one server down who said she wasn't our server, our server came to say she didn't know she was supposed to serve us. People who came after us got served before us. Manager looking guy totally avoided our table at first and asked how other people were doing but then brought over our food. We asked for no sour cream on the nachos and there was sour cream. Server/manager looking guy asks if we wanted it remade... who asks that when we had already said a person was allergic to it?? Then it came with the pork when we asked for chicken. Lol. The food was so so, almost comparable to TGI Fridays. We got ribs, beer, jalapeño peppers, nachos, Mac n cheese and a burger. One person with no silverware. The service got slightly better near the end but down side it as soon as we left I threw up all the nachos. Just the nachos and not all the other things I ate. Went yesterday,around 6pm. Was super crowded, due to a concert and the playoffs. The first valee was super rude. When we got to Kelsey's we were quoted two and a half hours. The hostess was curt. I hate to say it but it seemed like she really didn't want to be there. We got our "beeper" thing and headed for the round bar to wait. Within five minutes the beeper started beeping. My daughter walked over to Kelsey's and was greeted by am extremely rude hostess. First she said that they paged us over an hour ago and we forfeited our spot. My daughter said that was crazy we just got it. Then the hostess said I quoted you two hours. My daughter asked then why is it beeping. Also you have a lot of empty tables. Eventually she seated us after ten minutes, not two hours. Katie was our server. She was excellent. Food was excellent also. Fish and chips, rib eye, build your own burger and tritip. Overall experience was great. Only recommendation is to remind some of your staff that they are in the hospitality business. The hostess really should be in another type of work. Nothing exciting at all. The best way to describe the food is "value menu at Denny's." The place is VERY expensive for the quality. I ordered their cheesesteak sandwich ($14.00). It was no more than some hard bread, flavorless meat, cheese, and fries. Philly's Best sells the same sandwich for $5.00 and they (Philly's) gives you more. Wife ordered some sort of steak Caesar salad, it too was about $15 but she said it was "ok." Nothing to complain about.... except the price? So I decided to order some shots from the bar just for the heck of it... Don't do it!!! I ordered two gummy bear shots (house alcohol) for the wife and I (I know, it's a chick shot)... $18 later I got my shots. How in the HECK can a place get away with charging $9 per shot for nothing top shelf? So, unless you're ready to drop some serious money for coffee shop style food, skip this place. read more

My husband I tried Kelsey's for the first time tonight and had pretty high expectations because our meal last week at "The Great Oaks" also at Pechanga was AMAZING but our experience at Kelsey's didn't just leave us disappointed but also appalled and hungry. The menu looks and sounds great and we were really looking forward to our meal. For our Starters, my husband ordered the Southwest Chili and I ordered the corn fritters. The chili was very dark, did not taste fresh and was extremely spicy hot burning my husbands mouth, esophagus and stomach and he normally likes things a bit on the spicy side but in no way could he take more than two bites and had to send it back. When the manager came to our table he stated that he had the chef taste it and it was a little spicy but not bad and stated, "well, I'll go ahead and take it off your bill anyway." My corn fritters were the size of tennis balls! When I cut into them I had to search for the corn "in" them between the doughy goo...being they were so large there was no way to cook them thoroughly without burning the outside. We advised our waitress and she stated there isn't corn in them but just loose corn on the top of them. We explained that there is and suppose to be corn IN them but they were doughy and under-cooked and she "asked" me if I wanted her to take them back and have them remade...???Seriously??? The new corn fritters AKA tennis balls came again with a slightly darker coloring and on the edges they were cooked but the centers were still doughy and terribly bland. It took FOREVER for the waitress to return again and now we are 40 minutes in since our arrival and our main meal still hasn't arrived. We advised our waitress of how long we'd been there asking where our food was because by now we are starving and more than annoyed and disappointed with our experience and choices. This is when our waitress said she didn't put our food order in because she thought we would want to finish our Starters first...this is when I reminded her that we were unable to eat ANY of the Starters!!! FINALLY our meals came - my husband had the Philly Steak sandwich with Steak Fries and I had the Bar-B-Que Chicken sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. My husband said his was "just okay" and has had FAR BETTER from a local diner. My first bite was of my Sweet Potato Fries and they had a nice texture and flavor though a bit more greasy than they usually are but they were hot...I wish I could say the same for my chicken sandwich which was cold to the touch (it was suppose to be hot). When the waitress came to "see if everything was good" we advised her of my cold chicken and my husband's mediocre Philly Steak. I am holding the chicken between my fingers and invited her to touch it but she declined. I simply shoot my head side-to-side as I said "I'm DONE!" She found the manager again and we expressed are disappointment, frustration and by this time, anger, making it very clear that it's OBVIOUS there is a problem back in that kitchen and he KNEW IT because we had observed tables all around us complaining to him and sending several plates of food back. The wooden tables are beautiful and this is definitely an upscale sports bar only with REALLY, REALLY bad food! We will NEVER eat at Kelsey's EVER AGAIN!! On the flip-side, we will definitely revisit The Great Oak Steakhouse also inside Pechanga - even though it is substantially more expensive it is worth EVERY penny with consideration to portion size, quality, care and attention...DEFINITELY worth your time and money!! read more

It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The service was a bit sketchy, and the food was mediocre. The tomato soup was good, my brother really enjoyed his burger. My boyfriend thought his grilled chicken was bland and way too dry, I thought the same of my smoked chicken as well. The sauce was just sweet and flavorless but the cornbread was decent. The chicken wings had a decent sauce, but the wings were really tiny. I wouldn't order it again. It's a good place to go if you're in a rush and just want something to eat, but for the prices and for what you get, I wouldn't go. My Husband and I went here last night to celebrate our Anniversary! We were excited to try the new menu and experience the ambience! Carol was our server and we cannot say enough about her! She answered any questions we had, talked about the new menu and had a personality that shined! We had our 6 month old with us and any time that he was starting to get fussy, Carol came and talked to him to distract him! The food was awesome! The gf & I opted for this over the steakhouse because we weren't too hungry. We shared: - Clam Chowder: lots of clam in this thing. I thought it could've been a little warmer, but overall it was pretty good. - Chipotle Chicken Panini: tender chicken breast with their chipotle sauce with a little bit of lettuce in here. Pretty bomb! - Nachos: least favorite. The nachos at Denny's is even better than this. Way too much cheese that melted on top and hardened; guacamole was a bit dark; chips weren't fresh and were too broken up into small pieces. Avoid. - New Castle on draft. Our server was very chill, attentive, and funny. Couldn't have asked for more here. We liked how she'd always say "my pleasure" whenever we'd thank her for whatever she did for us. Dimly lit, bar kinda setting but also has booth & table seating. They got bar finger food, burgers/sandwiches and even steaks on the menu, I wouldn't mind eating here again. Me and family went to kelseys for dinner and we were not disappointed. We ordered the tri tip nachos , the smokehouse burger , fish n chips, and finally ribs. The ribs weren't as juicy as other ribs I've tried at other restaurants but still was delicious, also wish the ribs were more saucy , but i stilled enjoyed them. The dish that stood out had to be the tri tip nachos and fish and chips. The nachos had that slimy , gooey cheese , just what a plate nachos should have. Not that melted on cheese that other restaurants provide. The fish n chips were probably a 10/10. Its rare that i eat fish n chips but kelseys definitely has some bragging rights for the fish n chips. Overall , our experience at kelseys was a good one. The dim lighting sets the relaxing mood, good music is being played, and also the lots of tvs they have that feature all the different sports playing. Also shout out to our server. Kelsey's is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm at Pechanga. The food has improved by at least 2 stars after the remodel a few years ago and everything is always fresh and flavorful. My favorites are the chopped salad and boneless chicken wings (buffalo style). The Margherita pizza and ribs are also excellent choices. While I have had an occasional server that doesn't check back in until tip time most of them do a good job and Peter in particular is an exceptional server that makes sure the order comes out perfect every time. I would recommend Kelsey's if you like a place that offers an array of sports on large TV's with a full menu and bar! read more

Went to Kelsey's for a bite to eat and a drink before seeing a show at the Pechanga. Got lucky with a seat at the bar top. Bartenders were busy but not slammed. Started the timer on my phone. 2:30 when we were greeted/acknowledged by bartender "be right with you", 7:23 when bartender took our order (ordered food and drinks to save time), 10:13 when I got my drink, 14:18 when my husband got his beer (granted, the tap on the Guinness caused this problem), 17:29 when our food arrived. Ordered chicken quesadilla and spinach dip, both tasty but not spectacular. So, kitchen = good, bar = not so much. I personally think they were understaffed. read more

Burger was over cooked and had a grainy texture to the meat... pizza was ok.... not till I was 80% done with my burger did she come back and ask how everything was...... couldn't really say much since I almost finished my burger... need I remind I came in from traffic and just wanted to eat... I talked to the mgr and said what I felt.. he asked if I paid already I replied yes.. offer I comp dinner... which me coming back just for a free dinner. Not going to happen......
