Kemmy knows what they're doing! We ordered a whole cherry pie, an assortment of little bite-sized pies, and some mini pecan pies. It was all so good! Flaky crust and generous, perfectly balanced fillings. Our server said they were famous for their pure crusts and she wasn't lying! We took the treats to share with friends and every one of them raved about how delicious the crusts were. This quaint little shop next door to the Skunk Train depot is a must!

This is a cafe restaurant right behind the Skunk Train station. It's cute little place with a chill vibe and the owner is very friendly and considerate. We ordered a peach pie and a bottled beverage. Pie was delicious, fresh and was reasonably priced. $4 for a slice.

These pies are so good! The selection was excellent and the home made taste and feel were awesome! Might be the best pie I've ever had. Seating inside and out of this hole in the wall gem. They sell local honey also which is fantastic! Its a must visit before or after the Skunk Train.

What a cute little place I found while traveling back to Sonoma. If i could I would have purchased the pie with chicken and potatoes. I ended with a bit of several pies

So glad we stopped by on our road trip to Mendocino ! Who knew I would find one of my favorite pie shop tuck along the way By far my favorite pie varieties I've tried ! Love the options! Everyting we order was 100% delicious ! The only one minor recommendation was place a little more filings in the mini pie A must for us if we are driving close by ! So glad they offer their pie to local markets

Hidden gem! Tucked away off Commercial WAY in Willits next to the Skunk train depot. We tried the mixed berry and Apple pie. Both were delicious . Great variety of savory pot pies as well. Selection of beer, wine & cider to go with the pie. Beautiful & quiet setting. We will be back for more.

The bottom middle is the lemonade and jt was delicious

Our new favorite stop for savory pot pies. We got a chicken and a mushroom. Both pies were hot and delicious!

The diner itself is clean, neat, and well maintained, and right away we noticed how friendly the staff was. Our server, May, was a total sweetheart--very kind, accommodating, and attentive. She truly stood out and made us feel welcome. Honestly, she would be a great manager if she isn't already. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. The first thing we noticed was that there was no hot water in the bathroom, which isn't ideal--especially on a cold night and from a hygiene perspective. Ray ordered the ribeye steak and was pretty disappointed. While it was $28, it lacked flavor and didn't have a proper sear or crust--it was gray and just not enjoyable. I ordered the vintage burger on toasted sourdough, and that was actually very good. I enjoyed it and thought it was well done. I really like to give full stars when they're deserved, but this experience just didn't quite add up. Great service and a clean space, but the food inconsistency and no hot water made it hard to rate higher. Hopefully these are things that can be improved because the staff--especially May--was excellent.

This is one of the ten or so neighborhood Mexican restaurants in Willits. It bills itself as a…read more"Mexican American" restaurant, rather than a Mexican restaurant and this is true. There are some traditional items, but a lot of "tweener" food sitting between Mexican and American, while not, however, living in the space of the old fashions Mexican places of my youth that specialized in Americanized Mexican food. I have been here a lot, with mixed reviews. Today was not the best day, although some things were very good. Starting off, the chips were stale, which was sad because I remember them being pretty good. I have always found the salsas weird. There is a green salsa, that tastes herby and not at all like chile verde, there is a red salsa that is super mild, and an orange salsa that has a nice kick, and then there is some bean dip, which is never wrong. Our favorite thing is the shrimp in cream sauce and it is really good. Big shrimp and bathed in a delicious creamy sauce with mushrooms. I don't remember seeing this in a Mexican restaurant before but it works! The carnitas had good flavor but were tough and dry. I have had them here before when they were MUCH better, so I was disappointed. The worst was the chile relleno. Good chile rellenos use a Chile Poblano, stuffed with something (usually a white melty cheese, but could be piccadillo, or even a fish mixture (that's how my Sinaloan Grandmother made them sometimes). Then it is covered with a puffy egg mixture where the egg whites are supposed to be whipped up light, then the yolks with maybe a little flour blended in, the chile carefully covered with this then fried up in a pan. El Chicano's had no fluffy egg batter, the chile was right, but then it was covered in cheddar cheese that was cooked hard and covered with red sauce. I didn't care for it at all. The chile with the cheddar cheese was just a weird flavor and I missed the fluffy exterior of a traditional chile relleno. Service was ok. When we went to pay however, we found that they just ran the bill and didn't ask for a signature or a tip. Under the glass on the table is a handwritten note that said that tips had to be cash. So what a surprise! Luckily I had some cash on me so I could tip our server, but this is a terrible idea and I bet a lot of these waiters don't get tipped properly.
