Bought a 2025 Kia K5, they scratched the hood of my car while washing to by hand. "Tried" to get it out but failed to do so. They also left damages on both rear doors while installing tint. Tint is bubbled at the tops of all doors. They also never installed door guards as part of one of their many warranties that they require in order to sell a car. I have called and text several times about refunding the "package" claiming oh we don't do that and then get further ignored. Tell me how you damage a car with 13 miles because you were in a rush to sell and do nothing to fix the issue. Now I have to pay for tint removal and to do it again elsewhere. We needed to replace our second vehicle and it was a spur-of-the-moment stop at Garff on our way for ice cream. My husband had seen a Hyundai Tucson with low mileage that looked like it would fit our needs. Our helpful sales associate, Christian, was patient with no hard sell. However, the price listed for the car did not include the after-market add-ons from the dealer that we would not have ordered. It was a fairly easy buying experience. My only complaint was the fact that it took us less than 20 minutes to examine and test drive the car. We then had to wait another 35 before we could meet with Jennifer (finance) to get the upsell and actually purchase it (cash sale). All in all, it was a good experience and we will see how well they do when it comes time for service. No, we never got the ice cream. read more

Brought my car in for some recalls to be fixed and another issue with the A/C. 24 hours after picking it up, my car engine overheated and I was stuck with my 3 year old. Thankfully my husband is a mechanic and was able to leave work. After a quick look under the hood, we discovered the cooling fan harness was not plugged in. Probably the worst car experience I've ever had. They wanted $11,000 OVER sticker price. They would not take no for an answer. The manager was one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. Made me feel like I was "cheap" for saying no to that much OVER sticker.He had the nerve to say "Eggs are expensive right now, but I bet you sill buy them." As if spending $7 on eggs is equal to paying $46,000 on a $35,000 car? The young car salesman that was originally helping me, was very kind and I have nothing against him. But the manager completely ruined the sale for him. The experience was so bad that I started looking to buy my Kia Sportage SX Prestige OUT OF STATE, and I am so glad I did. I bought it out of Fowler kia of longmont CO (AT STICKER PRICE BTW). If you really want a kia at a good price, look into Fowler kia of Longmont CO. I finally was able to speak with him and told him to not contact me anymore because of this he transferred me to his boss Nate. He was no more helpful and told me that he trains his guys to do that. We're from Colorado and visiting in Phoenix for several weeks. A week before we were to drive back home the check engine light on our 2024 Kia Sorento came on. Adrian provided us with the best service I've probably ever experienced from any car dealership. The problem was found and resolved plus 2 other issues were found and also fixed. I ended up only having to leave my vehicle overnight. Worst car buying experience I've ever had. Found a car we liked advertised through Autotrader. Car was listed at $18900 not including taxes, fees and registration, it listed that at $1950. I also filled out info for a trade-in and it estimated it at $1200. We test drove the car and sat down so they could "run the numbers". They came back with $29,500 out the door price! What?? Almost $11,000 more than the advertised price! First they acted like the advertised price was wrong because it wasn't from "their" site. Second, they had the trade-in at $0, when asked they said they didn't want it. Finally, the manager asked how long I've lived in AZ, when I said my entire life (60 years), he said because I must not know how car sales work in AZ. We got up to leave and they asked us to give them a minute. After going to the back a couple more times and removing all the things we didn't ask for or want they came back with a more reasonable offer, however, by this time I'd lost all confidence in this dealership, so I left. read more

We purchased a new 2024 Telluride in September 2024. A few weeks after purchase, we noticed an overwhelming gas smell every time we filled up the tank. I made a service appointment. This is where things went downhill quickly. After taking the car in for service, we didn't hear back for 5 hours and that was because I called for an update. The service advisor assured me TWICE that an Uber would be sent to pick me up. That didn't end up happening because it was going to cost $53 and that was too expensive. My car had a CRUSHED O RING from the factory. After finding a ride for myself, I was charged for the gas they had to put in to recreate the issue. Then she said "I could have charged you a $189 diagnostic fee, but I didn't." WHAT??? This car is 6 weeks old. I should not have to pay one penny for anything that goes wrong with this car for a long time. Shame on you for putting me out because of an issue with my brand new car. Do better! read more

Although it wasn't addressed properly that day after 3 hours of waiting, it was addressed later in the week with stellar service by Jason and Carlos. And Jason didn't just address and correct the issue, he truly went above and beyond. I was pleased and impressed by the resolution and the effort to rectify my initial experience. I worked with Henry who was absolutely horrible and filled me with nothing but lies, promised me a back up camera, and apple car play which I haven't received, when I brought it back up to him he said it was my fault for not reaching out which I have since the purchase and also been there in person. I recently traded in my vehicle and purchase a new one from this dealership. 1) the sales person must have been new because he showed me numbers on the wrong car. I was ready to sign all my papers only to discover I was purchasing the Tesla model 3 and not the model Y I wanted ... 2) the finance person was great!!! however I showed my sales person my payoff quote for my vehicle and he somehow got it wrong by $700 now I need to come out of my pocket $700 which I'm sorry that was his error I provided all the details it's not my fault he can't read or whatever the issue was . Then he tells me the $700 will be added to my Loan. I called the finance office to confirm and make sure this was accurate , but I was informed that was not correct that I would need to pay the difference. I forgot to mention the car advertised on the dealerships website for 31k but somehow changed to 34 in person and then 36k. I would absolutely stay away from Ken Garff KIa especially and most importantly their full Car Service department that is ran by a bunch of incompetent individuals. I am putting both Adrian and Gabriel on blast to share my negative and very frustrating experience with Adrian and his lack of follow up with me due to his unprofessionalism in his job which ended up costing me up front well over $800 dollars in unnecessary car rental fees that I had to pay out of my pocket. Mind you After I dropped my car off to get diagnosed and serviced Adrian did not submit any info to my third party warranty company till 3 days after the diagnosis. I was forced into not only a lengthy car rental for 13 days but an unnecessary rental car for the last 3 days for essentially an AC blower motor. Warning - Flawed and Dangerous Telluride - Sold at Ken Garff Kia We purchased a brand new 2023 Kia Telluride X-Line on May 6, 2023. This is our first Kia vehicle, chosen after test driving and comparing all comparable make and model mid-size SUV's. We have bought many new cars over our 52 years of marriage, raising our family and beyond, including RV's. Not one has had a fatal flaw that put our lives in danger, until now. During a thunderstorm on July 21, 2024, towing our new trailer through Durango, CO eastbound on State Highway 160, this Telluride completely shut off without warning, placing my wife, small dog and me in emergency danger, 360 miles away from our home in northern AZ. It has been unusable and stuck in Durango since July 21st at the Kia Dealership, Durango Motor Company since Jul 22nd. They have informed me that Kia's "Advanced Tech/Engineering" has been engaged, but to date there is no solution, nor is there an estimated date for a solution. This is an unacceptable defect for any brand-new vehicle. It is an unsafe, unreliable vehicle, clearly a "lemon" that even if eventually "fixed" should not be put back on the road by anyone. The right thing to do is for Kia to buy it back from us, find the root cause and engineer a permanent solution to prevent it from happening to any future Kia vehicles. I contacted Kia "Customer Care" for their help, but they have done nothing but be disingenuous, deflective, dismissive and delay any action. I also emailed the General Manager at Ken Garff Kia, from whom it was purchased, and to date they have ignored my correspondence. So much for the Ken Garff moto "We Hear You." We are 70-year-old seniors on fixed and retirement income. We have been without our primary vehicle for over 32 days and counting, incurring increasing costs every day. With no help from any Kia entity and no resolution in sight, we've had to pay for a hotel stay, a rental car, towing charges, and storage charges. Kia needs to step up their customer service to us by offering a full buy back and reimbursement for spending forced on us by their fatally flawed vehicle. I am writing to express my concerns regarding a used car I recently purchased from your dealership. While the salesman, Jordan, was very helpful during the purchase process, I have encountered several issues with the vehicle and subsequent service that I would like to address. I purchased the car on Thursday, August 1st, and by Saturday, August 3rd, I noticed several problems, including a diminishing battery life, a broken wireless charging pad, and a dangling piece under the steering wheel. According to the Tesla website, these issues are not normal. I brought the car to your service department on Monday, August 5th, and explained the issues to the service technician. After approximately three hours, I received a call informing me that your system could not connect to the Tesla and that I would need to take it to a Tesla service center. Unfortunately, Tesla is fully booked until September 30th, which is an unreasonably long wait to have my car fixed. I requested to speak with a manager to discuss return options, as waiting until September 30th is not feasible. I also inquired about my Volkswagen keys, which I had left in the car, and was assured by three different staff members that my car would be available for pick-up after 7 PM, as I work late hours. After speaking with two managers, including John, I was informed that I would need to speak with the used car manager, who would not be available until August 6th. They stated that the issues I was experiencing were normal, despite my research indicating otherwise. I was promised a call from the used car manager upon his arrival. On the evening of August 5th, I visited the dealership around 7:30 PM to retrieve my car or Volkswagen keys, as I needed to go to work. I was told that the car was in service and could not be accessed. John kindly offered to reimburse me for an Uber ride to and from work. The following morning, after my night shift, I returned to the dealership to pick up my car and keys. John requested that I email the Uber receipts and informed me that the used car manager would be in shortly after 8 AM on August 6th. I explained that I needed to rest before work and requested a call instead. I called the dealership at 1:30 PM on August 6th, as I had not received any communication regarding the return of the car. I was once again told that the used car manager was unavailable. I left my name and phone number but did not receive a call that day. On August 7th, I called the dealership again and spoke with another manager named Chuck, as the used car manager was still unavailable. Chuck informed me that there might not be a return policy for used cars but promised to pass my information to the General Manager. Despite this, I have yet to receive any communication regarding my concerns. The lack of communication and resolution has been extremely frustrating. I kindly request immediate attention to this matter, including the return of the car and reimbursement for the two unnecessary Uber rides. read more

My experience today was limited to the service center. Our Kia Optima had a recall service it needed. This is a free service to replace an item. We called to set and appointment and it was within a day of the call, so they got us in right away. The item was replaced within an hour and we were back on the road. The service intake staff was friendly which is important to me. All in all good customer service! read more

This is a long overdue review. If you don't read this whole thing, please document every single thing with this dealership. From my horrible experiences here, they do not keep documentation of anything. I purchased my first ever new car in 2022. They could only find 1 key and told me they would order the second key and let me know when it came in. I gave them 3 months and heard absolutely nothing. Lesson learned, should have been more persistent, but it's sad I even had to do that. I then went in physically to the location throughout 2022 and 2023 and was told they'd get it ordered or kept being told they had no idea what I was talking about. Mind you, almost every single time I went in there, there were brand new people (not a good look). Eventually towards the middle of 2023 the new GM gave me the key that I was owed originally. This took many many phone calls and basically kept being told that I should have had the key put on an "we owe form". Which is hilarious because that is their job. How am I supposed to know what legal form they were supposed to fill out??? The GM then told me to remember what they did for me...... When I purchased my vehicle it also came with a full servicing package. I have noticed that my tires were wearing extremely fast. I took my tires to discount tire and they told me that my tires were basically at their half life already and I do not drive a ton. Discount tire had told me that they did not think the tires had ever been rotated. They took care of me for free. I just recently had my last service at the dealership and wanted to see if they were really rotating my tires, I put nail polish on certain tires. When I picked my car up, the same tires had not moved lol. My servicing report had said they did a full rotation.... Lie. Lastly a thing I noticed from my services. I have a dash cam. I noticed that right after I dropped off my car, there has been footage missing from my camera. When you hear of shady dealerships, my experiences make me feel like this one fits that mold. Do not recommend this place what so ever. If you do business with them, document everything. Do your job and theirs, and you might just have a good experience. read more

We negotiated terms (we had discussed monthly payments and new rates, etc) and left the meeting with him saying he would find the car I wanted, in any color, then reach out to me so we can finalize it. He never reached out to me. I was so excited to get a new car, but he never called me back.. so I decided to hire an attorney and go the "lemon law" route. Well I have my settlement money & was thinking of trading in my car for the new one I wanted, but not here. I went onto their website and had to input my contact info in order to get a price estimate on a car. I was contacted a few hours after that by a salesperson from the dealership. I explained that the price I saw wasn't going to be in my budget, but the salesperson asked me to provide more info to see if we could work something out. After providing my information, there was about an hour gap with no response. Then another day long gap before I sent another message to check in. But there was a wheel that they had to take care of and it's been over four weeks and there's been no sort of contact with myself sales person is not even answering always getting transferred manner does not take accountability is all types are wrong. The vehicle had some problems with that needed to fix that the dealership had promised, and it is still not been taken care of and that they took everything already money down and what not as well and no one is taking accountability from me. No calls on top of that every time I call, they always transfer me to somebody else that doesn't know what they're talking about at all. This needs to be taken care of. Since they had my car for nearly a week without looking at it I decided I would buy a used jeep renegade they have there . Took them nearly 2 hours to give me the jeep and they did absolutely nothing with it, no oil in the car , no air in the tires , no wiper fluid and engine coolant needed added. If I had not checked my car when I brought it home it would have broken down since there wasn't oil in it! These people do not care about your time or safety please go somewhere else.
