Went up to this dealership and I'm originally from tucson, drive two hours and spoke with Johnson my sales person, he was amazing, on the other hand I had an issue with a defective tire it split after a month of owning the car, brand new car, brand new tire, called and spoke to someone about this issue they told me bring us the tire we will reimburse you for it, so what did I do I drove two hours dropped off the tire and was told I'd receive a call back in two days from Chelsea, waited and waited nothing for a good month and half, well I went up for an oil change yesterday and spoke to Chelsea there service and parts office lady, absolutely rude, she has no sense of customer service, I told her no one called me back and she started putting the blame on someone else when I was told Chelsea was to call me back, when I told her I never received a call and that this is B.S. she then told me that there's nothing she can do for a non warranty tire. I get if the tire had been driven on for a good year but it WASNT, it was a brand new tire. Chelsea is lazy and her responses were rude and short and she was no help at all, she never opened a claim never even bothered to look into it, LAZY. It shouldn't take me to get two higher ups to help me when it's HER JOB. I really liked this dealership when I went to get my car, but not anymore after the no call backs and the rudeness from certain people there it has really changed my experience for the worse, I am very happy with my car and with Jason who helped me with this problem. Jason was a huge help and he saved the day. The gentlemen who also run the service center are great they are on top of it the moment you pull in and that's why I continue to go. Very upsetting as someone who's loyal to the dealership and drives two hours just for an oil change to get treated like that. Well, it was ok before it switched to ken gariff whatever. I bought a car there and got all the bells and whistles. I'm assured anything goes wrong and they'll take care of it. Well it's time for my one armor service, oh they don't do that there anymore. Gotta take it somewhere else. I have my first electrical issue covered under warranty, oh they can't fix that there. Took my Kia for the ECU update (are cars connecting rods fail) and the theft deterrent ignition (are cars can be stolen with a slotted screwdriver & a phone charge cable) I get a call from the service manager that my motor mounts are shot and my lower control arm bushings are torn. Ha? Well my family member who bought the car new purchased the extended warranty and left it on so they will do it free.Well....still it was $100. I didn't know what to think but for $100 I said "o.k. and I want the parts you remove". Never got them....no surprise there lol. Well they RECOMMENDED $1500 of other things too: Trans service fluid exchange $274 I will soon do that myself. Exchange brake fluid $105 No. Exchange Coolant $224 I will do that myself soon also. Rear brake pads 4MM $304. No thanks that's a $40 job for me. Get this one! Throttle body service & Fuelinjector clean $593!!!! Almost $600 and the car runs perfectly? That's just fleecing people. Here is where it gets..... Interesting. Here is what the service paper says- CUSTOMER STATES Verified concern engine vibrates at idle, found all mounts collapsed. For one, I NEVER said anything about vibrations at idle because there was none! Next UPON INSPECTION THE TECHNICIAN NOTED Verified concern when going over bumps could hear a creaking/popping noise found both front lower control arm bushings torn. Replace both lower control arms tested and operating as designed. The service manager here was rude and lied to me about a recall part.I made appointment over a month ago and they told me they had the part.When I brought Tha car in The service writer told me the notice I got was not right.They did not have to do what it said .Told me to go into the waiting room and will let me know when it is done.After 2 hers I went to the service writer and asked how much longer.He said real cocky the part just got their.Said about another he.The I see him wLk over to a mechanic and then I see him pull my car in.About another hr goes by then he comes to me and tells me a lie about how the mechanic took it apart and tried fixing it.but did not feel comfortable comfortable with it it and they will order the part for the second time he told me.He said it would take a day.I told him to call he said ok.Well it has been a week and nothing. I puchased a 2017 subaru forester here that had been traded in on black friday of 2023, they said is was great condition just needing one sesor to be fixed before picking it up, that took 2 weeks. I picked it up in december, i have a hybrid schedule which means i drove to the office twice a week, about 9 miles each way, after driving it by early january i noticed it overheating, i noticed the coolant was low and figured they missed that but no biggie i filled it. But it kept happening, so i then took it for the service plan, oil change and all that, told them about the over heat, they kept it about a week because their subaru guy was on vacation, i said ok i get it its a kia place. They then said they couldnt figure out the issue. And towed it to subaru, who found that hot exhaust and heated but no ignited gasoline was being forced from the engine into the coolant tank somehow, when they started the repair they needed to lift the engine out and found half of it had warped. I bought an extended warranty just incase and subaru contacted them. They covered a small fraction and i was out my car for 5 months and over 5 k in repairs, i contacted ken garff and at and the sales manager told me a "grown man should know what he is buying" i said a real man would stand by what he sold, he then said i wouldnt say that to his face, i offered to come down there then he backtracked, i started having issues again after getting the car back, mainly seeming electrical and weird turning issues and ac not staying cold, took my car back in and am looking at another 4500 in repairs for electrical, control arms and a dying ac compressor, which since i didnt have it all last summer wasnt used. I am now in one year and about 1000 total miles at the amount i the car was listed for in repairs, and no one from ken garff returns calls, the kid who sold it to me, the customer relations person, that violent, wish i was tough, wannabe la cosanostra sales manger, or the finance guy that sold me a useless warranty, also i was supposed to get a free year of thfet protect, that was also never sent to me, these are abolute scum of the earth people, rlthe staff at ken garff volks wagon said they hate them and kengarf in general as well when i went for a service there instead the next time. My son needed to buy a car (I was co-signing since he is a college student). We needed to buy a car quickly. We are precious Kia owners and had spent some time researching the market, so we knew exactly what we were looking for, what price point was fair, and what financing we expected-being pre-approved for a car loan. He looked at a car on a Sunday with a sales person (he does not recall his name). We went back on Monday, and unfortunately the car had sold. Richard P. became our salesperson. We looked at a Forte that had after market mark ups of nearly $4k above MSRP. I fave him a flat out "no". Thereafter he tried every slimy sales tactic that one could google including the fake "I will buy this car if" initial here, and the "what monthly payment can you afford" trick. Finally, he asked if we'd like to put a deposit down on a Rio that was scheduled to come in. When we said no, he asked if we wanted to continue negotiating the deal if he tried to ask his boss to take off the after market additions. At this point I was done with the whole experience, and we walked out. We ended up buying a car at Mark Kia. If you are specifically looking for a Kia, please bypass Ken Graff Kia, and drive a little further down to Mark Kia (ask for Carissa or Ashlynn) and you will walk away feeling like you made a good deal vs. feeling icky at this dealership. I called them this morning and the salesman that answered the phone told me the Kia K5 with the msrp of $30,235 that is coming in would be $49,000 out the door. I asked him if he was sure that is the correct car, he said there is a dealer adjustment. I told him that Camelback Kia was offering me the car for much less, he said if you want to take your business to Camelback Kia go ahead, must be a new sales tactic. We have an older 2007 kia that needed a new handle mechanism and window regulator for the same door. Old car, plastic parts, to be expected, right? We dropped off the car to be fixed, just to be called back a few hours later that they ordered the wrong part. We had already replaced the regulator in the car twice so we knew exactly what was wrong. The service department screwed up what was ordered. 48 hours later we came back to pick up the car and wait until the correct part came in. A few days later the part is in and we are told the fix will be done same day (it's not). After minimal communication and us consistently reaching out for updates we get a response that the car is "ready." The window is fixed but the door handle is not. The door can be opened from the inside but not the exterior. Kia did not fix the issue we asked them to. They lacked communication and gave us false promises. Wow this is an old school BS bate and switch office. I was called about a 23 K5 GT line. I told them I was looking at one with roughly the same miles in Prescott and they said we will do our best to get your business. I was called again and was told oh yah we have that can and when you you test drive it. I agreed to go there next. When I get there there was a new 2024 all washed and ready. (1flag) We were told oh the one you called about is in the back getting serviced. I asked the price and they said with discounts this is only 1k more than the car you wanted to see. So I agreed to let my son do the test drive. Of course he loved it. Then Kevin shows up and starts asking what my budget.... (2nd flag) I told him not to worry about my budget and show me the numbers. (Flag3) Keven then says well this is actually a loaner car and no rebates apply. However he would do his best to get me the best price. The car we wanting to see was priced at 27k and we're were told this one would be 28k. Then Kevin brings out some BS 38K price. I just walked way But of course they said hay I can do better with a Forte.(Flag4) I decided again then the sales manager comes over and says I can show you the K5 you were asking about I just need to get it from the back. I explained he was out of chances and he used the old Nate and switch. The dude blew up and stormed to the finance office and shouted were a bait and switch office. So let's see you offered me two different care other then what I went there for lied about pricing on the car to tried to sell me then agree to show me the original car. What a horrible experience. It seems like they are doing you a favor by letting you purchase a car. From the salesman Zo, to William to the sales manager with the really bad toupee, everything was sub par. This experience was due to my sons Kia Forte being broken into two months ago. There are no parts to fix it because (and please google this) Kias are the easiest car to steal due to Kias decision not to put security on their keys. Do not buy a Kia! I am writing to bring to your attention my recent experience purchasing a certified Kia Telluride. On December 20, 2022 I purchased a used 2020 Kia Telluride SX AWD from Ken Garff Kia in Avondale, Arizona. The vehicle had just been taken in on a trade and needed to be Kia certified and prepped before delivery. When going through the process of purchasing the vehicle I was told repeatedly that the dealership was going through "a transition" and their new online systems were slow and a pain. After I agreed on a purchase price I waited for over two hours for the finance employee to prepare the initial documents to sign. Once I signed the initial set of documents, I was instructed that I would have more to sign when I bring in my vehicle on delivery of the Telluride. Upon arrival on 12/20/22. I waited for the finance department to finish with another customer and was brought into the office. I went through the remainder of the document signing process and the Telluride was released to me. Here is where the problem begins: After returning home from a 45-minute drive, I received a call from my sales representative instructing me that I needed to come back to the dealership because there was an issue with the paperwork that I had just filled out. I was not given any further information or reason as to why I needed to return. When I returned back to the dealership (another 45-minute drive) I was led back to the finance office where I sat awkwardly while three finance staffers were attempting to figure out their new system to issue me a new contract. They then instructed me to re-sign all of the paperwork I had signed the earlier that day because there was an error on their end with the date of the contract. I asked if I was going to be compensated for my time and expense for returning to their dealership to fix their (not my) error. Also not be overlooked was the amount of liability on me, a simple car owner for initially signing an incorrect contract. Recently, I checked the cabin air filter out of curiosity only to find the filter unchanged and very dusty with numerous debris fragments. See attached for reference. If the cabin air filter was not inspected it makes myself unsettled to wonder what else was not inspected thoroughly to "meet" Kia certified standards. As a new Kia customer I am very disappointed that this in my first experience purchasing a Kia. read more

We went in the next day and at first their offer wasn't up to what I expected, they made right on it right away and extended a fantastic deal. The salesperson Graham was nice and respectful and the sales manager Armando was great! He was super helpful in getting to the financial goals we had and expediting the experience. We got a fair deal on our trade-in and the overall process was faster than most times when buying a car. The time in finance was painless and quick so that we were out the door in about 3 hours total including a test drive. The service manager, John, was very pleasant and the oil change took less time than I expected. That's the positive. The negatives are that the waiting room is pathetic, whoever did the complimentary wash left me with a smudged windshield, and they didn't bother to fill the windshield washer which was empty. I bought a new car from Ken Garff Kia. Everything seemed great the day I bought the car. The salesperson promised things and the manager even said I could bring my check in in a couple days. Then I got a call saying they needed the check earlier. Then the salesperson told me he'd have to order the part he promised. Then I received no other communication from him. I went in for service and asked about the part. It was in stock - it didn't have to be ordered. I was told the salesperson would call me about the part while they were servicing the car. I told them to install the part, and if the salesperson wouldn't honor his promise, I'd pay for it when I came back to pick up the car. When I got there, they had not installed the part and when I asked about the salesperson, the service advisor said he couldn't find anyone to ask about it. Stopped by on 4/23/24 to look at a vehicle listed online at $14K, liked the vehicle after a test drive. Once they finished the tally the $14K had become $19,500 a 40% increase. Buyer Beware! Not even worth the drive to this place. Listen, if you don't come in with ammo, you're going to get screwed here. I thought I'd seen it all with car dealers, these jokers win the proverbial prize. First, I had never seen the inside of a KIA, much less driven one. But, I've heard they were nice, and had a good warranty. I didn't even ask to get the "out the door price" as the salesman let me know there were close to $7K in dealer markups! Guys, it's a F'ing KIA. It's not like it's a Mercedes. Secondly, the car I was really interested in and knew they had, was an older model SUV, for $25K. It's a used car....can't be any "new car markups" right? Boy, I was laughing and cussing all at the same time. This $25K bad boy was going to cost me $37K out the door. THIRTY SEVEN THOUSAND!! Of course the salesman comes back with the inflated interest rates and the higher than normal monthly payment. Asked if that was acceptable. I just laughed and asked was this for the new KIA? LOL. C'mon man! What's the actual price for the car. Here we go: -They started off at over $26K for the price...wait a minute, it was $25K 5 mins ago... Oh, that's the dealer "reconditioning fee" $1400K. :-O Didn't even put that in writing. Just thought they were going to slip that by me?? -Gap insurance, Service agreement, 2 year oil changes window tent, a 2nd alarm system. -6% interest rate, even after I told them my credit score and they ran my credit. (Note, get your financing secure before going to the dealer) My credit score qualifies me for 3% and under depending on the terms. **also, at least know what your extended warranty options are beforehand. -Devalued my trade by $3K. This is funny...I asked him why my trade value was so low. (shows him my phone, pulled up to the KBB trade-in value page for my car) "Well, Kelly Blue Book isn't in the business of selling cars." Oh, Mr. Sales Manager, who do you guys use to value the trade-in's?? "Well, Kelly Blue Book" Can't make this stuff up folks. All of this, and I'm sure I've left out something added up to over $12K EXTRA on my soon to be used car purchase. Finally, after going back and forth with the salesman, and the sales manager. I told him, I was not going to pay for most of these extras, I wasn't going to be raked over the coals on this car deal. He replied that he wasn't trying to do that, but was trying to make money. I told him, you are going to make money. You're going to mark my car up x amount on the back end, and you're also making a profit on the front end of this car deal. He said if he took the fees off, would we have a deal? (This is were you are asked to sign something, on good faith that you'll buy the car.) Nope, you come back with numbers and we'll take another look. He comes back with the "wholesale value" of my trade and trys to pawn it off as the "trade-in value." This is where the story ends, because this is where I pushed that B.S. back at him. Telling him I knew what he was trying to pull, and I was walking out the door. I was told to have a nice evening. So, thank you to Ken Garff Kia for letting me enlighten the internet with my experience. Don't worry, the BBB was already informed. You can't and won't silence me for your bad business. Here's the original: Oh man, oh man, where do I start with Ken Garff Kia? Hmmm well, first, I call them Ken Barf Kia. Cause, BARFFFFFF at the way they treat people. Here's my story: I called for months and drove around many days to numerous kia dealerships just to try to find a GT model during the craziness at the beginning of last year. I give Ken Garff Kia a call and find a LXS model with enough bells and whistles to meet my needs (that they listed - meaning, false advertisement) as the GT prices were skyrocketing. So I speak with Cynthia (who thankfully for the rest of you, got fired or no longer works there from what I was told) and she told me the exact car, all the details, and that it would be ready for me the next morning so we could make the process more quick. I gave all of my dad's info and went to bed hopeful. I wake up early and head on up to Ken Garff which was 40 mins away from me to then sit there for over 8!!!!! hours. Back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. Trying to show me other rates, other bullshit, then pulling my credit through SEVEN different bank lenders and slapping my credit when I didn't even want my credit hard pulled to begin with and specifically said I didn't want this under just my name because of my past and how I knew it would effect the price of the car. Literally showing me offers at 18%+. Laughable. Cynthia being Cynthia trying to act like the nice aunt is sitting there spilling all the stories of the other employees and bad customers, trying to fill up time to make me forget the process was taking forever, stalling some more, feeding me MEDICATED EDIBLES while also consuming them herself at work, and continuing with the run around while I sat there all day long. They come back over againnnnnn with JUST ME on the agreement and I had to basically get a little rude with them to finally realize that they should listen and put my father as the main and me as the co. Then they bring the breakdown. What was 25k the night before was now 37k! Needing a car after over 6 months without a vehicle my father put a significant amount down (I'm talking over 20k) for them to still treat me like shit and give me the run around for another few hours. Cynthia had all the stickers and things left in the car to make you think you got the extra features that ONLY the GT model has (I now know and feel dumb that I didn't realize in the moment and was more so excited, but they had the car in the back most of the day so I couldn't sit in it and play around or anything). Which is false advertisement. So you not only lied, you then added on all these fees, told me they were mandatory, then made me wait alll day for tint (also mandatory when I know someone who'd do it much better for less than the crazy mark up) which is crooked and blurry and even has spots where you can see in the corners they didn't even get down into all the way. Don't even get me started on the warranty and having Cynthia say I'm getting 3 free oil changes. I show up to a Kia dealership closer to me for my 8k mile check up a few months ago to then have to pay the $100 out of pocket for the expenses. Made me look like an idiot asking about my warranty and them telling me it doesn't even exist. So what did I pay for?! Apparently Cynthia put in some sort of one time paint fix cost or something bogus. Don't want it, don't care for it, I wanted the oil changes I was told I would get on my warranty. I called kia up north and they told me I'd have to come in and speak specifically to Ricardo about getting a coupon voucher (only in person) for the oil changes and that they can only be done at their specific location. Like what?! I don't even live near there nor do I even want to go there. You guys can't even put on tint correctly, I sure can't trust you under my hood. I don't want to drive across town to get work done at this place. Oh!!! Let's not forget when I'm finally leaving and feeling like this day couldn't drag out any longer and Cynthia comes over with this survey.... "You guys really want my opinion?" Is what I rudely said at this point... and she responded to me with "Everything is highlighted on this separate sheet of paper with the correct responses so that I can get the positive review I need from this purchase." (Which I still have if you'd like to see it.) So you want me to answer the questions of MY opinion how YOU want me to so that YOU can look good when noneeeeeeeee of this was a good experience?!? Zero stars! The manager Nathan is an awful person with no regard to what you want or need and was trying to push me into a sale I didn't want. Found a car I did like asked them to run numbers which they wouldn't until I came in only for him to yet again try to push for a sale I didn't want. They have no regard to what you actually want. Car shopping can be very difficult at this time. Car dealerships are adding thousands of dollars to MSRP, because of the scarcity of vehicles. I should have gone with my gut on this dealership. Took a test drive and went back to discuss price. I was expecting a bit of a mark up. I was not however expecting to pay $37,000 for a car with an MSRP of $24,000. They also would only give $500 for my trade. I nicely said no thank you and asked for my key back. I thought it was extremely funny they said they could work with me. Earnhardt Peoria Kia was the right choice. Just avoid this place all together. You will be better off. read more

I worked with Melo I told her my situation and she heard me. She got me into a new car within an hour and a half. I got a used 2018 Honda Civic and I am so happy ! She was literally the sweetest and kept in contact with me through the whole process. I brought my daughter in with me and she gave her some cookies and made her whole day. This location was so far from where I live but the customer service Melo showed me was worth it! 10/10 Experience!! read more

An excellent example of price gouging ongoing, price you MSRP remotely only to add in 4k upcharge on a 16k vehicle. Unfortunate for people whom really need a vehicle, i can wait until issues get sorted and dealers have to work and provide honesty for a sale. People remember the the dealer scamming to make a buck in the short term will missing the longer term bigger picture. FAIL. read more
