Horrible customer service, can't believe people even go here. I visited this location asking for help with a potentially defective tire that they are a dealer for and was told that if I didn't buy the tire there they wouldn't help with a claim. I then asked if they can just take a look at the tire and give me their opinion of the condition of the tire and the gentleman said no we didn't sell you the tire and was told to talk to the owner Jeff because that's his policy but he wasn't around to speak with. I was desperate as I needed my truck for a trip so I headed over to America's tire where not only did they have no hesitation helping me with a claim on my tire but I also purchased two new $600 each tires from them. I was prepared to purchase 2 new tires at Big O but they couldn't be bothered, all they had to do is take a look and I would have asked if they had tires to sell me so I can still take my trip. read more

Called in advance for a 255/55/16. They gave me several options and stated they were first come first serve. I arrive and confirmed the single tire but was told there was an hour and half wait. I left and came back to wait another half hour. There isn't a waiting area but couple folding chairs and an umbrella out front. 4 stars today because I needed a single tire and they were available, one of guys didn't know how to start my car (manual transmission) and the guy finishing up my tire stalled right in front of me. I Needed an inspection on noises coming from my vehicles suspension/tires during high speeds. Jose and Randall assisted me. Jose was very honest and straightforward. Jose diagnosed my problem right away and was honest without trying to sell me any repairs I did not need. Honest and timely mechanic/company which is hard to find now days. They diagnosed my cars issues quickly without up charges at a very reasonable price. I got tires here a while back for my truck. I've had taken the truck back twice for blown out valve stems and now it happened a 3rd time on this same set of tires. I'm not doing anything that would warrant this. They have between 45-50psi in my tires. The valve stems are defective or cheap or something. Drove to the store this morning on Memorial Day to try and get it fixed. Everything says they will be open at 8am. Website says they are open, phones dont say closed, no signs saying closed today. I show up at 730 to be early and customers start showing up early for service also. By 8:05 there were no employees there to open the store. So i left frustrated, having to drive back home with a deflating tire and stopping for air on the way back home. read more

Unless you have a desire to be scammed, robbed of your money, and publicly humiliated, I would never go here. The employees will lie to your face about warranty coverage, the website doesn't even have enough information about the different tires, and the service WILL be unbearable. Tried to overcharge me, tried to lie and say my tires did not have a warranty. I had to go to another location, which proved me right because they affirmed that they did have a warranty. Went back to this location and tried talking to the staff again, and had the clerk start cussing me out and began calling me a number of different slurs. Do not go here. read more

I recommend this place for their ability to get the tires I wanted within an acceptable timeframe (since they did not have them onsite), their phone and in-person customer service, their pricing and their ability to complete the work within a specified time expectation. I was shopping for 265/70/16 AT tires. Looked up options on their website. Called the next morning and spoke to Jose confirm availability of the tires. He did not have the ones I wanted in stock or in the warehouse, but was able to get the 2nd choice tires I wanted later that day. He told me to come at 3p. Upon arriving at 3p, the work bays were all full with double cars in each. I was initially told by Jose I should expect to be there for a couple hours but the person who received me was hopeful for an hour (Jose was on lunch). They did not take my vehicle in until 350P, but that was OK because Jose sent the expectation at the beginning. While during the peak of COVID, they may have only had the umbrella and chairs out front (which was still outside), they had a row of chairs looking out at the work bays inside (with A/C, bathroom and bottled water). The work was completed about 445P and Jose checked me out. During my wait, I overheard someone walk-in with a flat tire. They warned her it may be 90 minutes, but they got her fixed up in half that. read more

I prefer to spend my money locally but I will not spend another penny at Big-O. I purchased a set of tires from these guys. I asked about the road hazard warranty and the salesman said I did not need it because they fix flats for the life of the tires. I asked even if I hit a curb and ruin the tire or hit something on the highway and destroy the tire. He assured me not to worry they fix flats for free. I was having a hard time believing I didn't need the road hazard but I caved and listened to him. I should have paid more attention to the words he spoke. So I declined the road hazard and of course I hit something on Hwy 24 puncturing the side wall of my tire. Took it in and knew what was going to happen before I got the call. Big-O - unfortunately you declined the road hazard so you have to buy a new tire. I'm not mad at them because I knew better and should have asked to speak to someone else when I bought the tires. I don't get played often but they got me. I purchased a new tire and when they asked would you like the road hazard I laughed and said no thank as I will never be spending another penny here. The owner heard me and asked what was wrong. I explained to him what happened, again. Of course he back his salesman up. I expect that but he did nothing to try and help the situation. As a business owner I would think he would try to keep my future business by maybe offering a discount on the next purchase. I even asked if I could purchase the road hazard now for the 3 remaining tires along with the new one. I can't do that. He said there is only about 5% of the tread left. Well great then you will be making money off me because the likelihood of something happening to the remaining tires is slim. I will never recommend this business and they have lost the business of the four cars in my household. DO NOT USE THEM! I can only imagine how many elderly people they take advantage of. read more

Had a great experience today and definitely worth sharing! I called last week about getting nitrogen filling for my tires as well as air shocks. This is typically a dealer only feature and was glad to hear that big O in Brentwood has this specifically. Most newer carsUse nitrogen for their tires as it does not dissipate as much is regular air. My girlfriends BMW M4 we cryers this as well as my fox off-road shocks in my Tacoma. So that is two stars automatically for having this feature for both tires and air shocks! Another two stars is there over the phone customer service as well as in person. I was greeted but time is my Alexis, who is very helpful and informative we're not only a tire quote that I needed but as well as process for Alignments and pricing. It's great to have this type of customer service at an automotive repair shop, Where it's pretty rare! I'm new to this area, and this is another plus on my list of why I like it in this area so much. The people are great as well as the stores and their staff! My last star goes to you yeah wait time to get the work done on my truck. Even though this place was pretty busy, Alexis explained that they have a large operation with a lot of laughs and days to accommodate their customers. I was in and out within 20 minutes!It seemed that the garage was so busy with so much going on, that one of the managers who was working behind the desk, got up and elected to work on my car since everybody else was pretty busy. That was a really cool gesture! Keep up the great work over there BRENTWOOD BO!!!!! Amazing ALOHA spirit at this location and the vibe was very welcoming! Mahalo! Unless you know exactly what's wrong with your car or tires when you come in asking for a service , these guys are not helpful. I've been here a number of times before and had flat tires replaced and service was ok but the latest few times I have been here I left feeling like they did not want my business or that it was a bother to them. The past couple times I've come in because my tire light kept coming on. I explained to them I checked the air pressure and it seemed okay so I can't tell what's wrong. They are a tire shop so I assumed they would check my tires and know if there was an issue. All they wanted to do was check the air pressure and say everything looks good and send me on my way. They didn't want to inspect or help further. They were not busy and even if they were they didn't offer a follow up time to come back. This latest time I went in they checked my air pressure and told me it was all ok but if the light comes on again then there might be a leak. I don't understand why they wouldn't check for a leak in the first place but I took my business to americas tires the next day and happily spent my hard earned money on new tires that were needed after an actual helpful inspection and explanation of the problem. Big O tires in Brentwood should work on their customer service and professionalism. I overheard an employee on the phone in the parking lot while I waited for a service tell whoever they were talking to that it was "slow and boring as f" so I don't understand why they are so unhelpful when it's slow and boring for them there. I took 4 trailer tires in to replace as they were very old and cracked. The hubs had leaked grease and the inside of the rims were caked. Carlos patiently scrapped the grease out and cleaned them til they shined. He then helped me put them in the car. Even though they were very busy he took the time to do the job right. Two weeks ago, I was on my home from the Oakland Airport and I got a flat tire. I installed the donut spare and limped back to Brentwood to Big O tire. I showed up around 3:00 and Marco was quick to helping me out. I left my tire to be patched and he said he would call if there were any issues. Well, turns out the tire couldn't be patched since I had damaged it pretty bad. He was able to sell me a new tire (my tires were three months old and I didn't get the warranty) and get me back on the road! He had me come back ten minutes before closing and swapped out the spare for the new tire. All of this at the end of the day, two hours prior to closing. He could have easily sent me on my way to the next shop, but he did me a solid and helped even though all bays were full when I got there. Thanks Marco and crew for the help. Had an emergency situation where I needed my flat tire fixed yesterday. The tire was severely damaged at a carwash and went completely flat. To make the matter worse, apparently my car doesn't come with a spare tire as standard factory accessor (!), so I had to call AAA to tow my car to their shop and was left carless. Thank goodness Big O tires was able to replace my tire within a day and now I'm finally back on my feet. Thank you Big O tires for being there when we needed you.
