I really wanna give this Worcester staple more than three stars, but maybe I'm just spoiled cause i've been to this place way too many times to count. I feel like i should give it more than three stars, but there are way too many better diners and places to get breakfast in the area now. The menu is small, but anything on it is done well. The Polish side of me loves to get anything with kielbasa. The real reason to go here is cause of the history it holds, it shared a wall with the building from the great warehouse fire. Plus it is the ultimate diner experience, stepping through its door's is sometimes stepping back in time. Everything is old school about this place, even the occasional smoking chef. For some that may be too much, but thats what keeps this place from becoming just another hipster douchebag hangout that fades away within a year. It keeps strange hours cause it doesn't cater to hipsters. It was a diner and it catered to truck drivers. We just stumbled in drunk from the bars one night cause it was the only place open. Well golden pizza was open too, but i'll take a kielbasa and egg over any of their shit inducing food. You know what fuck it, i'll give it two more stars. There's a reason Kenmore is getting one star from me. I've never had a bad experience at a diner but this was the icing on the cake. I went with three of my girlfriends and they all ordered food, got there food and I ordered a kielbasa and tomato omelette and asked for crispy hash and homefries and had to wait. I asked the server if i could have them crispy and the cookthrew a plate of homefries at us, i never got my hash after waiting twenty mintues the cook came grabbed my food so i couldn't eat anything. I was upset and said i would like it togo. Our server didn't even acknowledge us at this point. They called the cops because i asked for my omelette. Needless to say if your omelette or virtually anything is wrong the cops get called on you. Bravo kenmore you'll never receive our services again!!! read more

Not sure how this place got a 3.5 star. My veggie omelette was full of fresh awesome veggies - potatoes cooked perfectly- not too greasy. Hubby had BLT and lettuce and Tomato was so fresh - awesome all the way around!! read more

Although the diner had only two other customers my family and I waited more than 5 minutes for menus. We received drinks without straws and attitude when we asked for some. Food came up fast, tasteless and we did not get all of our toast for our orders. The woman I believe to be the owner brushed us off as well as the waitress. My first time coming here, was around 10 am and it wasn't too busy. I checked Yelp before I left the house and it said that they take credit cards, well they DO NOT. They do have an ATM of course, for a fee. Food was hot when it came out, staff was attentive. Portion size was okay. For a diner, I would have expected a little more. I would give zero stars if possible. My experience was horrible the hostess Nazi would not seat 2 of the people in my party(even though we had more than enough room in our booth) after I notified her they were running late. Our plus two were denied not even a bagel to be had, the simplest of requests. One of the most excellent casual diner spaces I've ever been to. The service is lightning-quick and the food is carefully and lovingly prepared. The staff is extremely friendly, even on the busiest days, and the space is clean, attractive, and well presented. They even have a large parking lot, so it's never hard to find spaces. The location (under a highway overpass) could be nicer, and it's a little out of the way, but the food quality and speed of service definitely makes up for this. I would particularly recommend their pancakes, which are fluffy but substantial and very creamy. read more

You go the diner route for 1) atmosphere and 2) convenience, NOT cuisine. Kenmore delivers. It's a small place located directly under an I-290 overpass amid a scarred industrial landscape. They have only a dozen 4-man booths and seven one-man seats (classic mushroom-shaped with stainless sides) at a formica counter. The booth tables are formica topped edged with stainless banding. All upholstery is fresh (as of 11/17), red vinyl. Exterior also appears recently redone. Fare is the normal stuff with the uncommon addition of fried kielbasa as a meat option to go with your eggs. On Sunday, May 1, 2016 I went to the Kenmore Diner with my daughter and had a very unpleasant encounter with the Diner's owners. My daughter is a Vegan for medical reasons (she can't eat anything animal-based, i.e., no meat, dairy or eggs). After standing in line for more than 20 minutes to get a table, we quickly discovered there was hardly anything on the menu (other than toast!) that she could eat. We asked the waitress if she could order the Vegetarian Omlet but without the egg and cheese, sadly her response was that it was too busy and the owner wouldn't make any exceptions on the grille. So we ordered the only thing we could on the menu, toast and juice! After our meal I approached one of the Diner's Owners to let her know why we ordered so little. I very politely explained that we wanted to order more but that my daughter had a medical condition and could only eat Vegan meals. I let her know that we had wanted to order the Vegetarian Omlet but without the egg and cheese but were told we couldn't. I then asked her to consider adding some Vegan options to the menu. Her response was a very unprofessional, "Go to City Hall and complain." Her response was completely uncalled for. In honor of Vegans and others with any dietary specialties, I urge you to go to Miss Worcester, The Coffee Mug (in Auburn), or IHOP instead of supporting Kenmore Diner. The food at Miss Worcester is FABULOUS and their staff are far more healthy looking than Kenmore Diner's staff. If you want to help me send a message to Kenmore Diner, please go there and order the toast and a beverage on a busy Saturday or Sunday morning ... and read a book or newspaper for an hour. Please tip the wait staff appropriately though - they are not to blame for the Owner's inability to accommodate a simple dietary request. read more

Also they don't take credit cards but the have an ATM that charges like 4 dollars to take out money. The food sucks. The staff is also so rude. Kenmore diner is an amazing place to go for breakfast. They have the best breakfast I've ever had & I've been to several diners for breakfast & no one beats Kenmore. The prices are great for the amount of food you get (only a cheap person would disagree), the food is Delicious, the staff is very polite & friendly (they take very good care of their customers & do not rush anyone out nice try though), & the diner is a very clean place. read more

The only thing good about our last visit to Kenmore Diner was our personal waitress. She was awesome - attentive, friendly, and efficient. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and yes, our food came quickly, however, it lacked flavor and quality - the french toast was drenched in egg, hence very soggy. But, beyond the food, most disturbing for me was a waitress that had a very nasty cough of which she expelled into the air, over the food area, on her hand, into a menu, and into her arm the entire time we were there. Not once did I see her wash her hands. The management/owner needs to take notice of this sort of thing. The Public Health Dept. would have had a field day with that issue. read more

I'm a regular but I came came in at 11:42 for a take out and they told me the grill was off as I watched them make food. I said I would take it to go but they said no. No biggy I went over to miss worcester as they stay open later. I'd give them 5 stars for the food but the hrs are different than most dinners and they don't give 100% on customer service. read more

This family-owned place is really bright (no, I mean really, really bright) and, to be fair, it's remarkably clean. It's has a McDonald's-type ambiance. Breakfast was served in about 3 minutes which might account for the home fries being cold in the center. The eggs were good. The toast was soaked in butter or a butter-like substance. The staff is polite but not friendly by any means. Need wi-fi? Don't ask. They have service, but were kind of unpleasant when I asked if I could use it for a few minutes. read more

What the fuc& do you want at 3 in the fuc&ing morning after a bender??!??! Eggs, home fries, coffe, etc. But is much more than that if you had paid attention.
