    a plate of breakfast food

Came here today and got the Rangers meal. It comes with steak tips and I gotta tell you the steak tips had a lot of fat in it. Maybe out of all of them one didn't have fat. Just wasn't the best. The rest of the food was good. My buddy got the French toast and I tried that and it was really good.

Got here at around 11. No wait. Plenty of tables! Our orders took about 25 mins. We both order the avocado tar tine on their special's menu. The breakfast was small but healthy option! Bagel didn't taste like bagel. They tasted room temperature. A thin layer of avocado with some Mexican seasoned corn, poached eggs are a bit overdone. We also ordered a side of smoked salmon. Didn't know the price to that. Order was $10 for four thin slices of smoked salmon. A rip off!!! Service is mehhhhh. Took a while to get some attention from our waitress to refill our coffee and tea. So I see we won't be back for awhile. Mainly coz the food, taste is just meh. Price is high. Food is just warm. We would like hot breakfast or brunch. Fruit bowl is the best part. For this breakfast we both paid $28. I could have gotten better meals somewhere else with that price. Definitely not worth it!

We went here for breakfast on our trip to Boston. This place offered a decent breakfast. I would say it ranked average in my mind. Nothing really stood out about this place except for the rye bread. The rye bread was pretty tasty but not jaw dropping.

Unfortunately we haven't had the best experiences here. Food and service isn't that great. We ordered take out and this is what we got.

We visited Worcester one weekend and stayed with a friend in Hopkinton and decided to grab brunch at the local diner the next morning. Fair warning that this place is cash only. I ordered the strawberry Belgian waffles which was pretty tasty. My sister ordered the crabcake Benedict, which was good but the crabcake was a lot more breadier and crispier. Coming from Maryland, I'm used to the lightly breaded crabcake so much prefer that. I would want to try another brunch location but I have a feeling there might only be a few in the area.

I have been here for breakfast on occasion but stopped in with family to do a lunch meal here the other day. Son decided to go with breakfast waffles, I decided on the fish sandwich for lunch. Clearly it seems where they excel is in breakfast fare. My son's waffle looked great, and it was also very tasty since he wasn't able to finish it all, so I helped with that. As for my fish sandwich I wish it was that good. The fish itself was fine, somewhat bland, would have helped to have a lemon but at least I had tarter spread to give it flavor. The iceburg lettuce and generic tomato slice were just mediocre accomplices to a fried fish that needed more help than it got. It wasn't horrible, but having had so much better elsewhere this is not something I would ever order here again. Oh, and cash only. Prices are reasonable, but just such a pain in this day and age when plastic is literally king. If you do stop by, order the breakfast, you will be happy with that choice.

The bar area was popular place to sit.

Delicious unrushed breakfast. Good service and good food. Was there with a friend for breakfast , both of us happy with our meals.

Once a nice place, but portions are now smaller and prices much higher. Cold omelets and cold coffee. No longer a place I will be eating at.

Upon walking inside, you'll immediately feel like you've gone back in time. It gives off a very classic, old-fashioned diner feel, with booth seating and red stools along the counter. Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. TLDR// Unfortunately, did not have the greatest first lobster roll experience here. Hopefully, I went on an off day or I was better off ordering something else.

Busy joint, tight seating, and energetic servers who keep attentive. -- Patty Melt: So much to like about this, from the marble rye (though I think pumpernickel) to the full size patty (better than the double smashed you get elsewhere) to the onions to the gooey melted cheese to the extreme juiciness and pleasing flavor. I didn't detect any Russian dressing, but this sandwich wasn't lacking for moistness or flavor oomph. A near-elite rendition and one of the best I've had in a while. Excellent. -- Fries: Included with the patty melt and a plentiful supply. The bad news: they're the dreaded industrial "coated" kind. The good news: they were piping hot and cooked perfectly, crisp outside, fluffy inside. The great news: you can substitute home fries. My server offered a sample of the home fries. -- Home Fries: I found them to be right in my wheelhouse for doneness, crispness, seasoning, onions, and overall texture and flavor. Superb. Between the good looking plates that passed by and my enjoyment of my own food on my first visit, there's sure to be a second. It is decorated beautifully in a silver, gold and pink motif. Very girly but don't let that keep you away. The coffee is delicious. They took time finding the right brew for them. It's an organic Colombian coffee and my friend said it was the best she has ever had. A downfall for me is that you are charged additional for flavors and flavors we didn't know that so we racked up an additional $5 for that. They specialize in flights which is fun. You can get waffles, pancakes, French toast or eggs. In any combination of 3 for only $15. That includes 1 topping on each item. I had the cinnamon roll waffle and it was amazing. 10/10 worth going just for that. I got the egg flight and had the cook choose my flight. I had an onion omelette, scrambled eggs with tomato and over medium eggs. Everything was good. I got a side of bacon and sausage. The bacon was perfect. The sausage was fine. My friend got an omelette with spinach, feta, cheddar and jalapeño. It was served with toast and home fries. The omelette was great and the home fries are the best around. The toast was a little over done but who cares. I'm sure they would have remade it if asked. She also tried the red velvet waffle with cream cheese as a topping. The waffle was perfect but the scoop of plain cream cheese was a little off putting. I think a little cream cheese frosting would have gone better. But it was eaten up. Nothing was left so I think we liked it. Overall this is a charming little place that I think would warrant a visit. I will be back for more waffles!!
