    Chicken skewers on vegetable rice
    Rich H.

Kennedy's pub last night was fabulous. Very busy at 6:00 pm on a Saturday night. Plenty of staff to handle the flow which is nice when you are seated and waited on in a timely manner. Our waitress Kim was so great, very friendly and helpful, a good waitress can always enhance the food and drink offerings and she did. On to the meals, my wife had the haddock, large portion and cooked perfectly with Delmonico potatoes. It's Kennedy's, if you know, you know the Delmonico's are fantastic. My meal is my new Go-to, Chicken skewers with a lemon glaze on a vegetable rice was absolute perfection. The skewers had big chunks of juicy chicken and peppers and red onion that complimented each other perfectly. Great meals.

Their Secret Garden is not to be missed! Food was wonderful -- the popovers are a must. We were all happy with our entrees and desserts.

We went there for Sunday date night. We reserved it so we're seated straight away, we chose patio seats. They have nicely decorated patio with tropical feel. It was a waterfall right behind us and that sound was soothing. They have arrangement for heating for colder days. We had one cocktail and one mocktail to start with. Drinks were awesome. We had one chicken appetizer. It was good. We ordered onion soup and chicken main course. Onion soup was great but chicken main course was not good. Overall good experience. Ambience is great. Staff is good. Enough of parking available outside for free. Can give it a try.

Such a cute and honey little pub! This spot serves up all your most favorite pub food dishes as well as some more unique options. I love that they serve crackers and spread cheese and a surprisingly delicious complimentary starter. Their menu is extensive and is sure to have something for everyone. While the food isn't mindblowing, it was definitely delicious and the portions are huge! The service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is lively making for a lovely, simple weeknight dinner. I'll definitely be back!

Came here for Mother's Day brunch. It was too cold outside to enjoy their beautiful patio, so we made a reservation inside. We were seated promptly and the restaurant was busy as expected. Our waitress was polite, but did not engage beyond the minimum requirement. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. It was all quite delicious, no complaints. The decor is a little outdated inside but it was an overall nice experience for a special outing.

Birthday dinner celebration in one of the yurts- the Aspen. Awesome concept and each of the yurts has a different theme and it's very tastefully decorated. Great company, outstanding food, and our server (Nicole?) was awesome. Knowledgeable, attentive and has a great sense of humor. We weren't the group from Nebraska..... If you act fast try and get a reservation in one of the yurts. They have six or eight of them each with a different theme motif. We'll worth it- great for a small group party. (There is a minimum guest requirement to reserve a yurt.) https://www.kennedyspub.com/

Upon walking inside, you'll immediately feel like you've gone back in time. It gives off a very classic, old-fashioned diner feel, with booth seating and red stools along the counter. Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. TLDR// Unfortunately, did not have the greatest first lobster roll experience here. Hopefully, I went on an off day or I was better off ordering something else.

They had been here before and wanted to try the smash burgers. I'm a fan of seafood so I ordered the scallop plate. At only $18 I wasn't expecting much. We placed the order and made our way to the restaurant where it was already all set for us! The cashier who checked us out was friendly and the building itself was nicely decorated and spacious. It was busy for a Friday night but not jam packed. When we got home I noticed that they forgot my tartar sauce- a bummer. But the food itself more than made up for the momentary disappointment. The portion size was huge for the price! There must have been atleast 16 scallops in there. Even though we ordered take out the food was still nice and crispy. The batter was excellent and the fries had a great crunchy coating. I would highly recommend Fish and Chix to anyone in the area. It may seem unassuming but the food quality and portion size is amazing! I'm happy we stopped by and will ask to go again.

That settled it; we had to try it. Out of sheer excitement or exhaustion, we forgot to make a reservation. I quickly remembered this mistake as we entered Hooked. People filled every table and seat at the bar. I looked at my bestie with great concern because we were anticipating our first meal of the day. The hostess welcomed us warmly, and then she asked the dreadful question, "Do y'all have a reservation?" We sadly said no, and she immediately began to express regret. Maybe it was the "Grad2026" headband or the disappointment on our faces that caused her to have pity on us because she told us to wait one second. The hostess walked to the bar, then she went to the main seating area, lastly she went next door where there's additional seating. She returned with a smile and motioned for us to follow her. The hostess found us seats at the bar! We ordered, chatted with the locals, and ate a delicious meal. We even made room for dessert which we learned was made by the owner, the hostess! The atmosphere is nice and clean, comparable to your average pub. It's a little echoey, but that's typical of this type of setting. Our total (pre-tax, pre-tip) bill was $44.50. This was fair for our order of: * Hendrick's & tonic * Margarita (watermelon) * Nachos w/ grilled chicken * Finn's burger Adult Beverages: The Gin & Tonic wasn't too bad. The watermelon margarita was a bit strong and tart. Food: I felt the nachos were your average, pub-style nachos. Not too bad, but nothing great. I'd order them again if I were in the area and needed a quick snack. Jennie thought they were lackluster altogether and would not. We both felt the burger was OK, at best. The bun and toppings (LTPO) were all good. The meat was quite reminiscent of a lower-quality, frozen, store-bought patty. It was juicy, but there wasn't any flavor to it. The side of onion rings that came with the burger were quite delicious... the best part of the meal. They were thick cut in a tasty, thinner batter. Service: Our server was also the bartender. She was friendly and attentive. She also took our order, including the changes, from memory. This always impresses me. Overall, it's a decent little local place to stop in for a quick bite, a drink, and maybe shoot some pool, but we won't drive the hour again to make a special trip there. We're giving it 3/5 stars, as that's the average/median on the available scale.
