We then found out that they ran the VIN of the truck through the Good faith warranty program and flat out lied to our faces. Again, the Vanderhydes are garbage people and if you want to be scammed, then go here. I'd also stay away from J.R., as he's a few colors short of a full crayon box.

Not sure what other issues people had in these reviews but I've dealt with car places for decades and this has been the best experience I've ever had. We paid under 7k sticker on an older van. We didn't make anyone's month or probably even week when we walked out the door with a car. The old van we got started to have some malfunctioning of a door from an electrical panel getting wet about a week after we took it home. They fixed it at no charge to us and it wasn't because we complained or threw a tantrum. They wanted us to be happy with the purchase even though it wasn't a big sale. We will absolutely go back there for service and look there any time we look to purchase because of our experience. Side note: the waiting room is stocked with kids play table and loads of things to keep the kids busy.

Not one person acknowledged me until a young gentleman in the very back finally spoke to me. He said he was newly transferred there. Overall, it was NOT a very welcoming experience in Marne. Later that day, I went to the car lot and asked whether paying cash would help with putting some money down or getting a better deal. I was told, "No, because we make less taking cash." I then asked if the price was negotiable and was told no, they wouldn't come down on the price. Later that evening, I used their online chat. A woman took my name, phone number, and my offer and said she would pass everything along to the manager to see what they could do. That was 8/21. Today is 8/23, and I still haven't received a phone call, text, or any response whatsoever. Communication and customer service go a long way when someone is seriously considering purchasing a vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience here was enough that I would personally avoid this place.

They repaired the vehicle - but I felt like some things were not done quite right. I took the van back for another looksie at the physical and mechanical issues. They had an excuse for everything - nothing was their fault. We (the auto body guy, the insurance guy and myself) took a test drive to check out the driving issues and they didn't really think it was their problem. At one point I made the comment that we really treasured our mini-van: "With little kids I can't imagine living without our mini-van." The guy from Grand Buick said "I had kids - and we did just fine without a mini-van." Ok - so I guess I'm an idiot now. The people there - while efficient - were ornery. I don't think they really gave a crap about my vehicle problems - all they cared about was getting their check from the insurance company.

I was nervous to use this business as anytime I have ever stepped foot in the building or interacted with the staff, they have been less than courteous. The rental itself was great, no complaints there. That was arranged through my auto mechanic shop and they were phenomenal. However, anytime I have had to deal directly with the staff outside of that rental, years before or after, it has always turned me away. The staff are rude and yell across their desks to one another, the building inside is filthy, and you're given the impression that you need to make a purchase or leave. I promise Greenville has far better options than the cranky, cramped car lot on the corner.
