I ordered the Pho. It was my first time trying it but it was also long overdue. With the weather being bipolar, I think it was perfect to get. The waiter said it was like a meal so I could only imagine. First, it came with complementary edamame. That was my first time trying it & it was good & well seasoned. Then the soup came out. Came with a setup of two sauces (hoisin & Sriracha), bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, fresh jalapeños & lime. The soup consisted of sliced steak, rice beef broth & Vietnamese noodles. Super good! When everything is mixed together, it's magic. Definitely was stuffed & now I wanna try different types of Pho, thanks to them. Came here last night for dinner after I've been eyeing it for a while. Every time I passed it on Brookside, I always thought it looked really pretty and classy. Inside decor did not disappoint! Service was okay...my hot water went unrefilled. Food on the other hand.... Let's start with a plus! I DO like how they served complimentary edamame. Now to the bad. I got the Korean bibimbap because I usually LOVE them. Here, not so much. Menu said it came with sauteed beef - I assumed it was SLICED sauteed beef, like traditional bibimbaps. No. It was cheap ground beef. Also said it came with shitake mushrooms. Did not see any mushrooms...unless it was mixed in with the ground beef. Zucchini was rare - most of it was carrots. On the plus side, the bowl was seasoned nicely, except for the bean sprouts. It was like they just boiled them and totally forgot to add any flavor. The menu didn't say the bowl came topped with an egg, so it was a nice surprise to see when I got my food. For $16, this bowl was NOT worth it. Mostly cheap ingredients + not that much food (I went right home and ate dinner again). If I ever go to Keo again, I will definitely stay away from the bibimbap. read more

Keo I think is always solid. Haven't been in a while because I always get the same dish. Tried the Korean Bibimbap last night. That one rocked my socks off. -- usually get the Malaysian Style Fried Rice, is a classic fried rice, Nice Style. Usually left still kinda hungry, but this new dish I got was like perfect. Came in a bowl, got chicken instead of beed, and no mushrooms. Solid. Will start getting that! Was full! Also got the Luxardo Cherry Limeade, was a nice touch. read more

Being Asian, really wanted to be a fan of this place. But honestly, it's slightly over priced and the food is meh. If they focused on one ethnicity of food or maybe fusion, it could be better. Spring rolls for $7 is over priced, if it was really good maybe it would be worth it. But even during happy hour when it's half price it's not worth it. Peanut sauce was subpar. Go to any Vietnamese restaurant in town, and you'll understand. The Tom Yum soup was good, so I won't harp on it. The Pho, was horrible. The instant pho from Costco was better. Please wait for Kai to open, then you'll understand how bad it is. It's like McD burger to a Ron's burger. The Pad Thai was weird, I've never had ALL the noodles the size of post stamps. And I've eaten a lot of Pad Thai. Sorry, it's like ordering fettuccine and getting bow tie for the noodles. Plenty of delicious vegan options, Mi Siam being one of my favorites. The wait staff can talk to you about ingredients and help one steer clear of non-vegan vegetarian items, also they know what the word vegan means! The ice tea is very good as well. The wife and I eat out once a week, sometimes twice. Keo is our fav go-to. The staff is great, always responsive, always courteous. The atmosphere is cosmopolitan. We went here for a stop on Taste of Brookside. They were very nice and showed us where the chafing-dish of food was. No one told us what it was or what was in the signature drink but it appeared to be fried cauliflower with a sweet sauce. Unfortunately the fried cauliflower was really really cold. The taste of the sauce was good but that can't really save cold fried cauliflower. I'm not sure what the signature drink was but it tasted like a mix between beer and toothpaste. I love this restaurant but they didn't hit it out of it out of the park this time. read more

My family and I have gotten take out at Keo several times over the course of the pandemic and every time the food is delicious, hot and fresh. We love the Tuna Nachos, Tai Basil Chicken, ANY curry, Tom Ka soup, the list goes on and on. My new favorite at the moment is Me Siam with level 3 spice. Being able to chose your level of spice at Keo is such a game changer. It makes for endless possibilities for combinations of dishes. We have been to this location for 3 times until the last time a waitress had a major attitude problem. We took our baby to the restaurant and sat away from the window. Baby started to get cranky and we asked if we could move to a table next to the window so that things outside can distract her a little. The waitress took our plates and throw them on our new table, TWICE. It was so awkward and made us feel very uncomfortable. Besides that, their food is way over-priced given the extremely small portion, and not authentic Asian food. We do not recommend it to anyone. We won't go back any more. read more

Very mediocre experience. First, we stood in the entrance for 5 minutes with nobody else around while the hostess dealt with postmates drivers and took orders over the phone. We were treated as second class customers to first class takeout customers. Second, the ramen was underwhelming. Small bowl, so so broth, burnt chicken (I should've know better than to get chicken in ramen). Not an experience I'll repeat. First visit. Loved it. The modern atmosphere seemed appropriate. Entire staff was friendly. We arrived 7:00ish, it was busy, which it remained as dusk fell beautifully on Brookside. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat you can watch the families, dog walkers, partyers & window shoppers roam up and down both sides of Peoria Ave. Ordering was difficult, so varied and interesting. Hubby decided on Cambodian stir fry w/ beef, it was tasty, presented as described. I ordered the spring rolls knowing some would go home. They too were presented as described w/ beautiful shrimp tucked in. Mmmm, bites w/ basil! I also ordered the Tom Yum: "chicken in mild lemongrass herb broth, with celery, mushroom and lime | 9" says the menu. It's so much more! The broth may start out mild but after adding thinly sliced green and red peppers it has quite a delightful bite. Such complex flavor, crunch of the celery. Mushrooms, lime leaves, slivers of lemongrass, cilantro & huge chunks of chicken breast served piping hot w/ your choice of rice on the side. They were out of the Argentinian wine I ordered, so I accepted a sub' California Chardonnay @ $12 a glass. Not on the menu. I found the wine list limited and jumbled. Keo, my friends, is the bee's knees. The ambiance creates an excuse to dress up a little or a lot. Modern decor, lighting, and seating create a spotless image. Huge windows in the front of the restaurant create beautiful natural light and prime people watching on Brookside. Complimentary edamame is given when seated. It is seasoned with a homemade blend of perfect spices. The pad thai has some of the best peanut sauce with such a strong bodied flavor. The Me Siam is also a delightful dish; I ordered mine with beef and it was flavorful and tender. Service is excellent whether you're hanging with the bartender at their full bar or seated for dinner. When you walk in it's very clean and chic. You can almost tell that this is only a visual restaurant and the food probably won't be very good. I was right. I ordered a martini to start and it was the best part of my meal. Probably should've just ended it there. I ordered the green seafood curry and I wasn't happy with it. I have had much much better curry at other places here in Tulsa. Our waiter was helpful and I liked the atmosphere. I'll have to try something different when i give this place a second go. read more

I was surprised to see that this place wasn't busy on a Saturday at noon, but I guess most of Brookside was a bit quiet. ANYwho, I was pretty gosh darn happy with the quality of the food and the PRICE! $9 for a really good amount of AWESOME green curry? yes please. I've been trying green curry all over the place because I fell in love with it in Australia. But I'm getting ahead of myself They give you a free bowl of edamame with this rockin spice on it... it was warm and had a lovely kick to it! Then we ordered the fresh spring rolls. They were... fresh spring rolls. hahaha surprise!!!!! I ordered the green curry, for two reasons, 1) the reason above 2) I've been sick and congested and can't taste anything, but I'm impatient and really wanted to go somewhere today, so I figured a spicy dish would clear my nostrils (tmi? I'm sorry...) Anyway, I tasted it and it seriously brought me back to that little Thai restaurant in Australia... my tummy got all fuzzy and happy. :) It was very good. The chicken in it could have been better... but it had the right amount of spice and I was completely satisfied. My boyfriend ordered the Malaysian fried rice... also fantastic! It has very good flavor, and it was also only $9. They were a bit skimpy on the white rice with my green curry... but I'd much rather they be skimpy on the rice than the curry!!! All in all.. One of my favorite restaurants in town. I love the curries (especially the red). I love that they use it in their Mussels, which are my favorite version in town. Ahi Poke is a favorite, as is the papaya salad. I honestly can't recall having a bad dish, and I have eaten my way through much of the menu. If Zahida has a seasonal specials menu when you go, definitely give one a try. Love the house martini, which is infused with lemongrass. The ginger julep is delicious also. They have half price appetizers during happy hour (4-7 I think?) It may just be at the bar, but I'm not sure since I rarely sit anywhere else. You can try a few (curry won tons are great) and get a full meal on the cheap. Other dishes I love include the Malaysian Rendang, crepes, Tom Kha and the Kalbi. There are some negatives - After years and years still cappucino. I know, doesn't match the feel of the place. neither do some of the menu items. So install a machine already. - Missing menu items. Get to Keo earlier or chance missing out. On my last visit (4-3-2010) two of the main menu items were all gone 45 minute before closing. Tell me just how you run out of Mango Cheesecake!?! - Location. This is Tulsa and it's Peoria Ave. If the traffic and parking doesn't piss you off then the unending street repairs will. You just have to live with it. Even with the negatives I still like Keo and will be back. Keo is a a package place in a great spot . As such a meal here become more an experience than just simple food. I'd recoomend you visit at least once as well. read more

Very disappointed... I thought PF Chang was the whitest Chinese food. Nah, Keo tops the top of the whitest Asian food. When sitting down I was expecting to see chopsticks on the table, not just a fork and knife. My party was sat at the front, next to the door. When the air vents kicked on, it blew dust particles where we were. Fibers were found floating in our drinks. I had "wagyu" with my curry, when I ate the meat, it was chewy and not tender. So I looked up wagyu to prove a theory and it states: "Wagyu beef is known for its marbled appearance and for being so tender it actually melts in your mouth." The beef I ate looked like strips of thinly sliced flank steak. Anyways, the pho and Ramen broth tasted like instant broth. The chicken skewers, nice but they burnt them. Went for a work meeting on Monday, January 19. There were just two of us, the service was exceptional. Waitress was on point and very helpful and attentive. Food was good, not great. Portions were only fair, on Chicken Pad Thai; but hey who wants to waste food and I need to lose weight. "It's like the food doesn't match the atmosphere." That's according to my husband and I have to agree. The atmosphere is great, so light and crisp. My husband started off with a Ginger Julep cocktail, which he loved. I stuck with water because I'm a light weight. We started with a shared plate of Ahi Poke. Great dish! The tuna was very fresh tasting and seasoned well. The main courses though were what threw us off. I had the Pad Thai with tofu. It was mainly noodles drenched in sauce with four measly pieces of tofu and some random pieces of celery. The husband had the Cambodian stir fry. He was not a fan. I have always heard about this place from commercials and other people who live here and enjoy Asian cuisine. There are 2 locations, and this one i went to since it is closer to downtown and we were going to a concert. Walking in, I got more than what i expected. It is a very modern restaurant and very nice to go to if you are wanting to go get Asian food that is not take out. I went with some girl friends who have been here several times and come here often. I had a few drinks here. and decided to try something new from the standard Sapporo I always get. Also a side note, they have Asian beers here that are on draft! I decided to get some drink that was made with tequila and was kind of a cross between a mojito/ light margarita. It had limes and all the ingredients were fresh and a high quality which made it amazing. I as well was able to try the mango martini since my friend got it and i really enjoyed it! its not over whelming like most martinis. As for food, we all shared the appetizer combo so we were able to get a little of everything. I liked all the food that was on this platter, but the portions were smaller that it was kind of pointless to even get it for more than 1 person. The edamame they serve here is like getting bread or chips and salsa at other restaurants. They were amazing, and they had this seasoning on them that gave it a little spicy kick. I could have eaten those all day! For out entrees we all got a stir fry type dish and tried each others. I got the ramen which is literally a fancier version of ramen noodles with more seasonings. As for meat I got it with tofu and duck. I love duck and I love any place that gives you the option to put it in any dish. My only issue with getting this dish was that I was charged an additional $4 for getting both Tofu and duck. I mean I know its only $4 but its was just annoying because if you were going to order this dish you would not get charged fro tofu, chicken, or beef. Add another meat to the dish that is not included and you get charged double..... How that works/ why that makes sense I do not know... What made it more frustrating was also the fact that when I asked the waitress she couldn't explain it correctly/ confidently. Long story short I ended up paying the extra $4. Aside from that miscommunication, I really enjoyed this dish a lot! It fills you up more than you think it would. My friends both got the friend rice, which came with an egg on top and they as well got 2 meats on it. I really liked the rice and if i was wanting something a little less complex I would get this next time. It was just a nice spin on a dish you would normally get any other Asian place. Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere is amazing and I would love to go back. It feels very relaxed and going for lunch would be a good time as well. The service here was not bad either, but I just felt like it was a hot mess with a different person helping us and all the waitresses did not seem to know as much as they should about where they work. If you are looking for some Asian food that is not the common take out, I would for sure give this place a try!I know I am looking forward to going back! read more

Delicious! And being gluten free, we were very excited to find so many options here. We had spring rolls, the green papaya salad, garlic stir fry and Thai red curry with chicken. The spring rolls were a little heavy on the vermicelli, but they were good. To make them gluten free you have to get sweet and sour sauce. The green papaya salad was crunchy, tart and tangy and I loved it. The garlic stir fry had a lot of sweet peppers in it, so if you aren't a fan of bell peppers in your food, don't get this dish. My Thai red curry was so good! It had just the right amount of spice to make me break a sweat, but not so hot you couldn't eat it. It was a good size portion so I couldn't eat it all either. The steamed white rice was also really good. I know that sounds odd, but this rice just seemed to melt in your mouth. If you are gluten free and are looking for some fun foods to try, this is a must. All the menu items that can be made GF are also marked, which is another plus. read more

Ordered Chicken Red Curry, Udon Noodles w/ Shrimp and Fresh Spring Rolls... the worst food I've had in a very long time. Soo bad that I couldn't eat it. The oil was separated and not only looked awful but tasted awful. You might as well have gotten some vegetable oil and drank it. Disgusting, right?... Also, what Asian place gives you 1/2 cup (if that) of rice with a full order of a curry dish? The spring rolls also came with sauce for only one roll. By the time you got to the second roll the 1 tablespoon of peanut sauce was gone. It had no flavor anyways so I wasn't completely disappointed. I don't know if they had a bad night or dropped the ball because it was Friday at 9pm or what. Let's just say I would never eat here again. I use to eat head nearly every week when I worked out south because it was right in front of our office- now I get it to go about once a month.
