My husband and I are foodies and we love Greek food. We've literally had everything on the menu. If you describe the food at Keratsini as "terrible" or "awful" you're either lying, you don't know Greek food or your taste buds are broken. Each visit we make here, we order the spanakopita and lemon potatoes because they are a MUST. The rice pudding and saganaki are also in regular rotation because they're DELICIOUS. Portions are great - my husband and I typically share an entree with a couple of appetizers and have leftovers to take home. In addition to the 20+ times we've eaten here as a couple, we've also brought friends and family and never experienced any inconsistencies. Our experiences with the staff have never been anything but pleasant and friendly. If you're expecting to be waited on in a restaurant that is counter service only, frankly, you're not very bright. They do bring your food to the table for you and are very helpful if needed (bringing extra plates, cups, etc). I've eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants. This was a disappointment. It's a little pricey and I didn't care for the atmosphere. The food was mediocre at best and the service, well not enough people to serve. Even just a plain Gyro was disappointing. I'm glad I didn't get any of the really expensive items. Its location in one of Annapolis' busiest strip malls makes it no fun to get to either unless you go on a Monday afternoon. Just pass on this one, there are other Greek restaurants to try. read more

Ordered take out from this place and witnessed something very unexpected. While waiting to pick up my order a young lady was ordering at the register, during her order the cashier answered his cellphone. At the end of the order she paid and the cashier asked "what no tip?" Im Greek, so I stopped by to try the food since everyone was raving about it. First of all, these people should be ashamed at the prices they're charging for the portions they serve. Totally outrageous. Their pork souvlaki was an absolute embarassment. It was probably about $2 work of food (5 or 6 tiny pcs of meat and pita wedges) and they charged $8 for it. The meat was dry and so was the pita. The tzatziki was tasteless but their spanakopita was passable, but $8.50 per piece? They couldve used a little more feta and onion. Their calamari ($11.49) and octopus (only 1 tentacle $12) were also very small and expensive, portions. The baklava was good. A little soggy but lots of nuts between filo layers and a decent portion for $6. Save your money folks. Greek food is known for its soul and flavor, but sadly, you won't find it here. We found this restaurant by accident, Baja fresh right next door was permanently closed, our original late lunch early dinner location and we just went right into this restaurant without doing any research before walking in the door. I'm so glad we did, they truly deserve five stars. After sitting there waiting for our meal I looked it up and it only had 3 1/2 stars. I couldn't believe it after trying their food. I would not have gone here if I looked it up and missed out. My husband and I started out with the flaming Saganaki cheese dish and the grilled octopus then got the Chicken Souvlaki and lamb gyro and ended with rice pudding . Let me tell you we are going to be craving those first two dishes. We have gone to many five star Greek restaurant in our day and those two items were top notch. The chicken was perfectly cooked and marinated well with a very fresh tasting Tzatziki sauce. My most minuscule of a complaint would be that the lamb gyro was a bit dry and lacking love but I just put more Tzatziki sauce on it to compensate. I want to warn anyone that gets the rice pudding that it is truly a Greek restaurant where the rice is cooked al dente, sweetened perfectly and has a firm consistency, no raisins not American/Dinner style mushy and super sweet (which is also good but not Greek) We will be returning!! read more

What happened? Always great food. We've been ordering take out regularly for over a year. Called today and were told we needed to provide CC info with order. That's new but OK? It was a process getting all the numbers across. He then asked what tip I wanted to give. I laughed and said tips are for good service. He said so you want to leave 15%? I laughed again and said no. I'll leave cash when I pick up if all goes well. He then said the card didn't go through. I said I just used it and let's try it again because I don't think our communication was great. They also seem to have some issues with their timing. We had a party of four, and there was a large gap between the time everyone received their food. Ordered carry out on a Saturday afternoon. 100% totally absolutely impressed. Gyro was the best I've had not actually in Greece. I agree with all the others on the baked feta small plate--fantastic; grape leaves were on the rustic side while still full of flavor and generous with the sauce. The desserts in the case looked great and if our meal is any indication they probably are. Not much interaction with the proprietor, but everything was ready as promised, when promised, and came with a smile. Can't believe I only just found out about this place now.
